There is not a lot to like about it - however, having used Coffee Shop Manager (which was an independent POS company initially and was then purchased by Granbury) for about 15 years, we have learned to adapt it to our needs. When it works, it's good. We can build menu items, add modifiers, and generally do what I'm guessing all other POS systems can do. HOWEVER - service is so horrible that the good doesn't really do us much good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Technical Support for Coffee Shop Manager (Thrive/Granbury) is horrible. They are extremely slow to respond, somewhat difficult to communicate with, and are inflexible when we need big fixes done (or new systems installed) - frequently suggesting we close our business to accomplish the tasks. As a small business it's almost impossible to close and not negatively impact our customers - and as a business that supports small business, it would seem that Thrive would work to accommodate THEIR customers. It's frustrating that a system we rely on isn't supported in a conducive manner. If we weren't so imbedded in the system, we would change. But the expense - for a small business - is pretty great. So we struggle through the support (or specifically the slow and lacking support). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
