## Commio Reviews
  ### 1. ThinQ/Commio - A Company That's On The Move

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob Z. | Account Management Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

We were searching for a second SIP service provider that could get us into the Canadian market as well as the "off the beaten path" locations in the U.S. and Commio filled that bill. Their coverage map has opened up new markets for us that we didn't have access to before. In addition, we can mingle all of our customers through a single portal which improves our service capabilities.

In addition, we are now able to assign multiple IP addresses to each of the trunks configured in their system. This allows us to This makes it much easier when your customer utilizes multiple fiber/broadband providers for their service/company.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I'm still working with Commio on providing the capability to look at real-time CDR data for a specific phone number or customer through the portal. Right now I need to download the entire CDR data for all customers and then parse through it for the specific information I'm looking for. This tends to be tedious and time-consuming.

I'm also working with our Account Manager to see if we can get the SIP Refer functionality on our trunks. This appears to be a new "thing" within some companies and it helps to be able to check this off as having this capability when going after new business.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

The support team at Commio is wonderful! This is my key to selecting a vendor.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access to the Canadian market as well as companies in rural areas. With our other SIP service provider, they don't offer services to these areas so now we have another option to utilize. This gives us a huge competitive advantage as we compete with other providers.

We can also load balance our services to a specific customer as ThinQ/Commio gives us a second high-quality Tier 1 service provider to utilize. This is a great selling point to our customers as it improves reliability and limits the risks of outages/downtime.

  ### 2. Easy and Intelligent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nancie S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Commio?**

I was introduced to Commio when it was still thinQ. The ease of use and navigating through the website is very efficient. It literally takes minutes to perform the tasks necessary which is very mich needed in sales. I am completing this type of task frequently - this also another reason why navigation of the screens is important.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

The implementation of 2FA in order to log in, while not difficult, creates loss of time to get to what I need to do. Finding another way to create security while not having to find your phone, get to the authenticator app and type in the number in order to log in would be very beneficial.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Purchasing of long codes (10DLC numbers)

  ### 3. Commio (formerly ThinQ) is the best!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Commio?**

What I like most about Commio is the upbeat and friendliness of everyone I've meet from one on one assistance with porting questions to the various webinar hosts and guests I've watched. Each experience I have had with Commio has been such a pleasant and user friendly experience. Whether I'm talking with a representative or using the portal, I enjoy and appreciate how I can easily navigate the portal and find helpful resources when needed. Currently we are using the Commio's services to port toll-free number, which we use frequently and I appreciate the simplicity these requests.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

So far I have not found anything that I do not like about Commio. Althought i would like to provide the suggestion to providing a little more time or a open forum where we can continue to submit our questions and recieve answer for a few days following the webinar. Sometimes I come across a scenario after the webinarthat I may have a question about, but I'm not alwasy sure who to reach out to after the session has ended. With a chatroom or forum other people who know the answer may chime in or provide input on how they resolve the issue.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do not have a problem, but we currently utilize the services for the purposes porting toll-free numbers. I think we are looking at the option of possibly adding SMS features to this list.

They help our company to offer inbound / outbound SMS and E911 setvices to our clients

  ### 15. Flexible platform that allows for quick setup of SIP services

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Commio?**

- Easy self service setup of SIP trunking
- Number inventory and ability to self service provision numbers
- Highly personal customer support

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

- Some downstream carriers are lower quality and can impact call quality. Its easy to turn off these super low cost carriers so impact is minimal once we learned this.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Commio delivers redundant SIP services to our UCaaS platfrom.

  ### 16. Great Company - Great Service - Highly recommend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan K. | Network Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Pricing, Flexibility, No Contract required, Great Communication. Trouble tickets get attention almost immediately and the few times there have been issues they have been very communicative with updates as well as providing an RFO when it is all resolved.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Since they are involved only with the call setups, they do not have the ability to troubleshoot problem calls. Those need to be investigated with the carrier that the call was going over. This has been a little troublesome sometimes, but it could also be due to local internet circuits.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cost Reduction, Voice Flexibility. We add/move/close branches fairly frequently. Since we no longer need to contact a Telco Provider to add phone numbers or disconnect it has simplified our entire voice platform. We moved from POTS lines and PRI's at locations to ThinQ and have saved an absolutely crazy amount of money doing so.

  ### 17. Great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devin S. | Network Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

I like how easy it is to port numbers over, manage them, and set up sites all in the same place. Very simple to view tickets as well when we run into issues during ports.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

There isn't much that I don't like about Thinq, if I had to decide, then I would say that some of the fields could be better and they could make it easier to get ahold of people when running into issues.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Phone number problems I believe, benefits would be the easy to use software to assign numbers and manage them for our customers off our database. I haven't used many other platforms but I don't think this one is bad at all.

  ### 18. Great presentation with important facts that I was currently unaware of.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Cost savings and scalability. That is reliablity and secure.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Like anything, it's the learning curve. I know it will take some time to get familar with the platform.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of process for 10DLC creation.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Appreciate your review, and the kind words for our hard work on long code (10DLC) registration and delivery. Texting is a big part of the cloud communications landscape, and we're excited to help customers deliver SMS/MMS to more destinations every day.

  ### 19. Thinq review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The portal which allows me to purchase numbers, control my inbound and outbound call routing. I utilize Thinq for outbound dialing on some equipment, backup dialing on other equipment. I can configure test environments and route traffic instantly to my test environments. I also love the control to change the outbound carrier I am using, especially if we are troubleshooting carrier issues.

Support has been great too!

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I can't think of anything right now, I have not had a bad experience yet. Maybe if there were some type of outage with a carrier, if they would put something on the portal?

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

I always include Thinq as recommendation when asked about SIP providers.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed the ability to test different equipment at our business, route calls to it, route calls out of it. I needed the ability to test routing calls to hosted customers at Amazon and Azure and Thinq solves all of it.
I needed low cost outbound dialing and Thinq solves that too.

  ### 20. A smart phone central/router in the cloud!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose Q. | Support Services Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The best part from thinQ, when integrated with Twilio in our case, is that it intelligently switches outbound phone providers depending on the destination we call. It doesn't seem like much to save at first, but seeing it in a cumulative view is a significant saving.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

We would like from thinQ to have a broader selection of outbound phone providers for more destinations. This way, the routing could be even more efficient and cost-saving.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

thinQ is dealing with a fascinating need for cloud-based VoIP providers; the ability to switch (in real-time) carriers before binding a call. Usually, the outbound carriers are already set by default, and their predefined prices are also assessed.

  ### 21. Great service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Quick customer support responses and clear answers to pass down to my end users. This has been the case atleast for our case during the last year doing business with commio.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I do not have any particular dislikes as they have always delivered excellent customer service for our questions and concerns. We have had nothing but smooth sailing.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not have any particular problems that are outstanding as they have always delivered excellent customer service for our questions and concerns. We have had no issues there were not resolved timely.

  ### 22. Bad leadership since buyout

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott K. | CEO

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

They were expensive but made a good backup route for us.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

When ThinQ was purchased by Commio, they instituted a "minimum" bill amount with very little warning. We canceled services and removed them from our routing. Then later, they billed us the minimum anyway and turned us over to their collections department.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThinQ from Commio is not solving any problems for us at this time. We previously used them as a backup route for our services. When they asked what could be done to increase their business with us, I suggested they be more competitive with their pricing. Instead, they implemented a minimum to try to force the issue.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Scott, thanks for writing your review. A few points to consider:
1. Commio is the new brand covering the combined companies of thinQ, teli, and Commio, with the same leadership in place.
2. As our newly combined brand, we did raise our smallest monthly commit as part of our updated go-to-market strategy, and provided you with the notice as outlined in your original agreement. We don't like to lose any customers, but we understand your decision.
3. We were glad to see that making the adjustment to your solution to remove us took a very short amount of time (several days according to your customer success contact) without impacting operations.
4. As you discussed with our team verbally, we apologized for the invoice that was sent afterwards in error, and we immediately rescinded it. You are not in collections, and your account is in good standing.
5. We continue to work on delivering the best possible voice services at the lowest possible prices, and update our pricing often as part of our intelligent call routing solution. In the future, we'd love to handle your voice calls again, and appreciate your business.

  ### 23. Hassle free service with full control

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hari Prasad G. | Director of Operations (APAC), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The interface of the site https://thinq.io/ is the easiest by far on all the providers that I have been to. I on average use 6 providers and my go-to is ThinQ as the first option always.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

The support response though is to the point I would like to connect and get educated on why it is a solution why it's not an issue from your end and has adequate info to escalate further.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

If you are looking to have a hassle-free communication service platform with good quality support then ThinQ is the go-to destination without a second thought.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use https://thinq.io/ for all my call routing needs and particularly the Toll-Free Number stock that you have. The support process is very good when compared to the 5-6 providers that I use.

  ### 24. Great Cost - Better Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan K. | Network Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

We initially went with thinQ because of their prices however, we've found that not only is their cost incredible, but also their service. Every ticket I've ever created gets assigned to an engineer quickly and the only time I've struggled getting resolution is when the issue is on some Carrier who refuses to do any deep dives.

Their portal is also easy to understand and manage. So easy that I've been able to train various other employees on how to use it, and in the extreme cases been able to simply talk someone through using it without even having it in front of me.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Nothing, their entire platform is great. Simple to manage and re-route calls if necessary.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SIP Voice service to over 130 locations with Cisco CUBES and a Cisco Call Manager

  ### 25. Very easy to work with Commio

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Online portal is intuitive and easy to use. Communication with coordinators is consistent.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I haven't found anything I dislike about Commio

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My department uses the portal for porting and communicates with the coordinators on any FOC dates and rejections

  ### 26. Solid Service

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew J. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

I really appreciate the outbound routing profiles. Being able to selectively remove carriers depending on latency or other issues has saved us many a time. Support is always quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

We have had some significant outages in the past. As a whole, they are very reliable, but when they go down, it's a large problem. We are lucky enough to be able to switch our outbound leg to another provider in the case of an outage. We've only seen 2 major outages over the 3 years we've been using Thinq.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's mostly the configurable routing profiles. Lots of folks can do LCR, but the cost savings for us combined with the ability to selectively alter the outbound routing helps us provide the best telephony we can for our customers.

  ### 27. SIP Wholesaler Focused on Solid Fundamentals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Thinq is very strong when it comes to the reliability of their services, clear communication on issues and rapid response when it comes to dealing with problems. We have had bad experiences in the past with other companies that were more feature-rich but failed the first time they were DDoSed or failed when a datacenter had issues. As an MSP, the underlying services that power our offerings can reflect very poorly on us in the eyes of our clients if they aren't rock solid and Thinq has made a point to focus on the fundamentals which means that we can always rely upon their services being online and functioning as expected. They are our go-to for SIP services and we've used them for many years and are happy with the results.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

UPDATE: Less than 24 hours after I made this review, Commio has been rapidly (and secretly) updating their entire KB in response to it. This reminds me exactly why I use them as opposed to someone else, thus I have adjusted my stars from 8 to 10. There isn't a perfect company out there, but there may be companies that work harder than others to do their best for you. Our company is a small fish but today Commio definitely made us feel like a big one.

Original Review:
_____________________

1) It would have been nice to have a composer-compatible PHP API to make their API a bit faster to code for. This would also allow them to push out code and query updates for their APIs in a more strategic manner.

2) For whatever reason, they seem to have issues with their billing system all of the time which can sometimes force us to spend more time looking at our balances than is normally required with other companies and can be somewhat annoying.

3) MMS messages are limited to a single attachment per inbound message (or at least they were when we coded our endpoint for them), meaning that it's possible to lose data on inbound MMS. It hasn't generally been an issue except on those rare occasions where people attach multiple photos and send them off in a single MMS. Most modern phones these days are pretty good at separating multiple images into separate MMS messages.

4) Dual-factor authentication for account access seems like a no-brainer but they haven't added it yet which seems disappointing from a basic security standpoint.

5) Having a more MSP-focused feature-set would be nice, however not if it comes at the expense of a lost focus on fundamentals nor an increase in price.

6) Speaking now directly to thinQ (since I know they read these), It seems like the documentation for simple things often is outdated and the branding sometimes gets a bit sketchy as you used to be Siproutes, then thinQ and now Commio. Pick a branding lane please and the next time you have a board meeting where you are discussing if you should change the name and/or branding... don't, just don't. None of your customers cares about it as much as you care until we realize that we have to change settings in our switches and systems to keep up with your musical chairs of domain and branding updates.

6a) Not that it really matters to me much but while we are on the subject, thinQ was already a pretentious and contrived name and is easily confused with an LG product. Someone sold you on switching your name from Siproutes, which was a name that your potential customers in the tech community can immediately recognize as far as what products you offer, to a name that's pretentious and vague. However, you pushed that name for so long that we finally started associating our brains with it and now you've started brand-shifting to Commio which is, dare I say it, yet another vague name that you'll need to once again build recognition behind. Far be it from me to tell you what to do with your own company, but honestly, I see it all the time in the VoIP space and it's almost always self-sabotaging. Facebook and Google are dumb names but at least they didn't change them and thus continually undermine their existing brand recognition. Whenever they got the urge, they just created a parent company with a different dumb name chosen by an overpaid research group and then kept the major brand name so people wouldn't have to switch mental gears. As a customer, when I see a company that is focused on brand-switching, especially more than once in a decade, I start getting concerned as I view this as a possible red flag. The company may be unfocused on the things that originally attracted me to them, they may be trying to re-build their image without solving the underlying issues that caused their original image problems, or they may be going through leadership turnover which may mean a destabilization of their service, support, or focus. To summarize, it's a bad idea to change the name and undermine the brand recognition, it's annoying to the customer to have to re-program things and the customer may begin to view re-branding as an indicator of potential weakness or red flags within your company.

6b) On the subject of documentation, why is it so hard to get clear information on how to setup a modern version of FreePBX with your services? A lot of your documentation is either out of date, filled with low-resolution images that you can't zoom in on, or measly and incomplete. It's great that you have so much confidence in my abilities to intuit your systems but the average person coming in from the cold is going to need to open up a support ticket to get information that should be easily accessible in your KB and is already easily accessible on your competitors' KB systems.

6c) Speaking of the KB, why are there two (or is it three?) logins, one for the KB, another for the support panel, and another to manage my services? Combine these all together along with the API documentation please.

7) Changelog please. I would like to know what updates are coming to the platform and I'd like to see any bug fixes and/or improvements in an easy-to-read list. You'll often make a feature update/change and I don't even know about it until I log back into my dashboard and I notice it.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the issue of having occasionally unreliable SIP services due to companies that are more focused on feature sets than they are on the reliability of their core offerings.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Quick update, our updated billing system now combines our inbound and outbound invoices into a single payable. Lots of other new billing features are now live as well, would love your feedback!

  ### 28. Great products, industry knowledge, and customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | Senior Sales and Product Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The service is very reliable, with good management tools. Any problems or questions we have are quickly resolved by their support team. Our Account Manager Pete Sweeney is a great advocate for us whenever we need a little extra assistance beyond the scope of a support team. They have very deep understanding of the new 10DLC/A2P regulations and they have been a great advocate for us in the whole process.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Nothing is perfect, but I don't have any complaints about the service or product we receive.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

connecting our business to the world with dial tone and messaging service, core to our business.

  ### 29. Quick turn-up on our account.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank F. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Commio?**

How easy it was to add funds when account was low.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Nothing to report, system is working properly.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Issues with call routes, they fix the issues quickly to correct these route issues.

  ### 30. Great and easy to use voice carriers grade platfom for small and even big business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The platform est user-friendly you do not need to be a telecom technician to use and understand how this platform works. The number of carriers is also great.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I am still searching for what I dislike. Seriously I have no idea what missing on this platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

You have to try it first to make sure that is what you are looking for your company and customers.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, you have to negotiate your voice prices with each carrier separately and you also have to manage a lot of price lists in an excel sheet for each carrier. Here you don't need to think about all that. You have all that in the same place. This is great to save time and money.

  ### 31. Our overall experience over the last 7-8 months has been great! Answers are always expedited.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber H. | Office Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Almost every time we've reached out with a question or issue, it was resolved in a very short amount of time.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

There were a few times we reached out, the customer service reps were very rude and dismissive. However, there was usually follow up by a 2nd person that was always very nice.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since we began to use thinQ, we have brought all of our DID needs in-house. We have more control over our business, which helps us plan and scare a lot easier.

  ### 32. Extremely Customizable and Flexible LCR

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Their support people at each level are knowledgeable and helpful, not just 'trying to help but actually helping. Quick and with proficiency even when it requires going to great lengths.

Cost is obviously a big benefit, since we have all of those carriers to us it ends up reducing the term costs by a lot.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

At least in my experience, their origination service for local numbers isn't as simple, feature-rich, and cost-friendly as other services (and unlike termination, there are obviously no aggregation benefits.)

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of using a single carrier for my call termination needs, with Thinq I have the versatility of a platform where I have them all in one and can turn them on and off with a switch of a button.

  ### 33. Excellent Service, Easy integration.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael P. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Customer service is excellent. Tickets get addressed quickly and resolved in a timely manner, there's always follow up, as well. I feel supported well when we have issues or questions.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I cant think of anything I dislike. Everything has been great. API works well, they are reliable, customer service is great. I'm hard pressed to find something I dislike.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've mostly automated customer onboarding. Saved lots of time using the API to allow our system to flow into thinQ portal, instead of manually duplicating data entry.

  ### 34. ThinQ provides a solid service for Inbound Toll Free, SMS, and International Termination.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Thinq's Toll Free LCR is what drew me to Thinq. Their inbound rates were about half of the flat rates we were getting from larger carriers. Alas things have changed and there are now less expensive options for Inbound Toll Free. During the time there however, their Toll Free products were reliable and we had very few outages. We continue to use their International Termination products.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Their Inbound Toll Free rates are good, but better can be found. Their Port Out fee is ridiculous at $3 per Toll Free Number, or $2 per Disconnect. And at $0.50 per Toll Free Number, it just feels like a disincentive to never leave, rather than a reasonable fee. Their recurring billing system leaves something to be desired, as you have to pay separately for Inbound and Outbound.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We saved a lot between 2016 and 2021 by using their Toll Free LCR over our other carriers. And their International Termination rates are pretty competitive, as long as you exclude unreliable underlying carriers, which you can do so easily on their website.

  ### 35. Can't complain! They're always responsive and haven't had any issues.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Responsiveness and the fact that they keep following up on transfers when there are errors to make sure the process gets completeed. I don't have any experience with any of the competitors so I can't really compare it.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I do wish there was a way to create CNAM and e911 sites at the same time as creating or porting a number. Normally I have to create the site, then the CNAM, and then do the number so I can assign those at the same time. Would be cool if you could create and assign them at the same time.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to manage our VOIP process easier by using thinQ at a cheaper rate than most completitors.

  ### 36. Great support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The most helpful thing thinQ provides is their outstanding support. Any time that we begin to experience any kind of issue, it's very nice knowing I have great support to come back to for help.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

There arent many things I particularly dislike about thinQ. I do think there are places where the service can be improved. Lowering cost. Increase call quality.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThinQ is one of our major outbound dialing providers for our company. We use the service 24/7 365. Whenever we need to dial out to clients, our thinQ route is the default.

  ### 37. Professional and cost effective service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Portal is easy to use for purchasing numbers. Porting numbers is easy as well. Reporting is simple and easy to use. Support is exceptional and always accessible.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

My only complaint was a large project port had issues with some of the numbers. client came back consistently with numbers that were having issues with the same port order.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

Best pricing and services in the industry.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cost effective sending of SMS messages, Inbound calling, and outbound calling within the United States. Our platform utilizes the Commio platform to deliver calls all over, and even has capabilities to allow our clients to use their services alongside our own.

  ### 38. Reliable & Responsive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

ThinQ is very user-friendly, but they also provide great support if you need assistance with any of its features. Additionally, we have had very few problems, but when we have both the sales and support team have been very transparent.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

There isn't a lot that I do not like. I believe that if I could say anything it is that the billing of outbound/inbound could provide more detailed reporting.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With ThinQ we can easily order numbers in any area code we need ourselves, without much of a waiting period. Additionally, we can easily switch numbers to different trucks in case of an outage.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Quick update, our updated billing system now combines our inbound and outbound invoices into a single payable. Lots of other new billing features are now live as well, would love your feedback!

  ### 39. thinQ by Commio is a fantastic service that is extremely easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy R. | Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

thinQ makes it so easy to port numbers and order new numbers that it takes a lot of the headache out of the process.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I dislike how friendly their service department is. Everyone has a bad day why can't they once in a while.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

Try it out.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to increase the timeframe in bringing new customers to our service with thinQ.

  ### 40. Very helpful and knowledgeable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Tech support has been very easy to work with and has helped me with problems even on my end. Just because they saw it was "not their problem" did not stop them from helping. Everyone else was great to work with as well and was very helpful. The telecom landscape is changing right now. However, they constantly keep their customers updated with what is going on and what is coming in the future.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Honestly, the only thing that has been an issue is the speed of changes in the industry, and I am not always sure how it affects my company specifically. Fortunately, they do have individuals to help along the way.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They helped me as I transitioned off of one cloud based telephone system to another, and made the process as painless as it could be from their end. I almost felt bad that everyone wanted to help and I had so few issues to bring up.

  ### 41. Reliable and excellent pricing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve A. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The price is extremely competitive and we've had zero reliability issues in more than 5 years of being a customer.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

We are completely satisfied. We love the pricing and the reliability.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Least cost routing and reliability.

  ### 42. Great service. Been with them for years and highly recommend. Always quick responses to tickets.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Now that they've combined their inbound and outbound portals, I like them even more. The setup is easy to use, and the documentation is very complete. The support staff is always great when you do need some help.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Bill payment isn't automated yet so logging in just to pay invoices manually every month is required. This is the only real complaint I've had about their system in years.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Toll free routing, both inbound and outbound calling, and SMS notification integration. Costs, especially Toll Free, are way lower than with most other providers I have found.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Quick update, our updated billing system now combines our inbound and outbound invoices into a single payable. Lots of other new billing features are now live as well, would love your feedback!

  ### 43. Robust SIP services, fantastic staff supporting it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The portal for managing DIDs and SIP profiles is extremely intuitive. Pricing is excellent and the service has been very stable. Sales and support staff are very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I only have a very minor complaint in that the portal separates inbound/outbound features and the tools are slightly inconsistent between inbound/outbound calling. This has no negative impact on our usage of the product, however.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We switched from a SIP provider who had terrible customer service so we were looking for a stable provider who had excellent customer service. So far so good!

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Quick update, our updated billing system now combines our inbound and outbound invoices into a single payable. Lots of other new billing features are now live as well, would love your feedback!

  ### 44. Commio is very good for orig, term, and texting.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John R. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

I like the least cost routing, I like all the features, 800 number, and reporting on problems.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Nothing, I cannot think of anything. You all are the best

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

Just start using them.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving issues from other carriers, like too high of a cost, or lack of customer support.

  ### 45. User Friendly with a few areas of improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Our entire team is able to use ThinQ and understand what they are doing. The user interface is great and super easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

We have had some service problems with ThinQ that did cost us some business. Issues with ThinQ disconnecting calls after 15 minutes and overall outages. I think that their customer service could use a little more support. There were times where we would need to reach out several times before getting a response.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cheaper DID solution. ThinQ has been a huge money saver for us. We used to pay over $20 for a DID now we pay just a few cents.

  ### 46. CEO

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason K. | CEO / Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The customer service is excellent. The fraud team has helped us out tremendously in the past.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

We dislike the balance (not sure what to call it) but when we do have a fraud calls going on the balance will not terminate the existing calls

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

We would 100% recommend thinQ to partner up with

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Has cut out our total outbound spending in half in the past

  ### 47. Good, solid service, easy user interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** casey m. | Creative Lead/System Programmer/Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

ThinQ has a user-friendly interface, and I like the extensive FAQ section and full instructions provided if needed. They do have rapid responses with customer service as well.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I wish there more countries to choose numbers from. I also hope to utilize a mass number export that was easier for me to transfer to our back end.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

I think thinQ has been showing lots of improvements. I do wish there were international did options as we are always looking for more reliable vendors, but for our US-only DiDs, thinQ is a great option!

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThinQ gives us another DID provider to choose from that is relatively easy to use. I enjoy their website and do not run issues often.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> We know setup can be challenging, glad our veteran support team and online docs/FAQs made things easy!

  ### 48. Best support ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Newbern, D. | Director of Systems Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

By far the best support ever from a Telco/VoIP provider. Web interface is quality and supported by rich APIs. The routing engine is far more flexible than "just another aggregator."

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

International termination rates are not the lowest in terms of wholesale, but commensurate with the level of service you get. Minimum commitment isn't my favorite sales tactic either.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, CommIO and ThinQ service as a DID provider and a termination partner. We aim to use them for SMS testing in the future and make better use of their APIs for automated provisioning from our platforms.

  ### 49. Loving the features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lexy L. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

I like the fact that I'm able to send text messages with pictures and make free voice calls.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I don't think I dislike anything so far.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

If you're looking for a way to save money when making calls or sending test messages to your customers or employees, thinQ is a great solution.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm saving a lot of money with free voice calls.

  ### 50. Works like a charm.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The flexibility to make routing changes.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Least cost routing has its challenges, but this is how you do it.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lower cost for customers.
