## Commio Reviews
  ### 1. Easy to set up, easy to get support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter K. | Information Technology Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The support at ThinQ is excellent! They respond promptly via email or phone and are very knowledgeable and capable. We do a lot of porting DIDs for our customers, and it is a very easy process. ThinQ blows the competition out of the water, especially on this front.

One commendable thing that ThinQ does is they seem to source all of their support staff from the US. This is a huge benefit to the customer that no other competitor does.

For comparison, VoIP.ms seems to outsourse much if not all of their staff, who are only available via the support portal or the live chat features. Even then, you're lucky to get a proper response within 2 hours.

As another comparison: Twilio seems to outsource all of their support from overseas, often failing to respond to tickets for hours; if not, days.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Up until recently, the portal was a little cumbersome because they had separate portals for termination vs. origination. As of late last year, those portals are now integrated. They require CAPTCHA's nearly every time you log into their portal, which can be very irritating. Other than that one minor complaint, it's hard to find much else to dislike about ThinQ at this point.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

When starting your account with ThinQ, request a quick setup meeting. Their staff will get on a call with you and assist you in setting up trunking service within your environment. They will do a great job testing the initial setup call quality, and they do an in-depth tutorial of their user portal.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThinQ has completely solved the issues we've had previously with scheduling port dates ahead of installation. Most similar companies are not as transparent about the process and do not have any support available to make changes should they be needed.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Peter, always great to hear wonderful feedback - from our onshore U.S. support team responding fast and solving your issues, to the big upgrades we've made to number ordering/provisioning paying off for you, and working hand in glove with you and your team to get things up and running ASAP.

  ### 2. thinQ - It all about flexibility and control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas L. | President and Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The interface is one of the slickest in the industry. With the latest version, the single pane of glass allows the routing of toll-free numbers and DIDs to be better controlled. Add LCR (least cost routing capabilities) which allows building different pricing tiers depending on your customer's profile and fraud capabilities whereby limiting high-cost International calling and daily limits makes thinQ an easy choice.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Other than the reliance on 1 Canadian supplier for PORT-IN for Canadian DIDs, there really is not much to dislike. It limits the coverage to where the supplier can either deliver new or PORT-IN DIDs. The addition of 1 of the 3 iLecs would provide the coverage needed to close this gap with outher vedors.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that was solved with thinQ was the fraud capabilities that were available to us. We have had a number of PBXs that were compromised in the past and switching to thinQ whereby we were able to not only limit high-cost International destinations and regions, we also had teh ability to place daily limit spend for those routes per customer.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Our fraud prevention features are very popular, it's important in this age of STIR/SHAKEN and more that we stay ahead of the curve to help our customers prevent issues and keep their calls going. Thanks, Andreas!

  ### 3. Rockstars

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The consistency and reliabity of service, the availability and support from the account management and NOC staff. Willingness to work with us to make things happen.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

- Need to implement 2FA, this feature is long overdue

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

Get a trial going, it works great.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThinQ has become our favorite USA carrier aggregator, we've reduced friction and accelerated savings

  ### 4. Great Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Commio?**

thinQ has a great group of employees and a great product.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Nothing to dislike about thinQ in my experience

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Least cost routing without having to building our own LCR

  ### 5. Good choice of quality carriers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

thinQ has an impressive choice of carriers, the big ones in the US, and a decent list of carriers for international calls. You can customize and create multiple routing profiles selecting a subset of carriers or all of them, specifying a max rate and a max number of carriers per call.
Rates are competitive, they bill by LRN.
Support is quick and the onboarding for the outbound part was easy, with mandatory inter-op testing that was quick but thorough.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

You need to request inbound and outbound connectivity separately, the process should be more streamlined (but this might be due to the fact that I signed up before they launched the new portal).
There is also no way to programmatically download the 1+NANP rate deck which makes it impossible to automate the import of the rate deck into our own LCR.
They recently introduced a minimum monthly commit.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

thinQ provides me a variety of routes with as much flexibility as I like. I can make outbound calls with my specific choice of carriers and using routing profiles I can add them into our LCR to make sure that our calls go out through the route with a price/quality that is acceptable to our users.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Thanks for your review. You are correct, the thinQ io platform now streamlines inbound and outbound voice, plus messaging. So one place to do everything. We do provide access to the rate deck information which you can retrieve and add to your systems, understand that there are some extra steps involved for your use case, agreed.

  ### 6. Solid performance, stellar customer service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff M. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The platform is robust, powerful, and fairly easy to use. Favorite thing is the ability for a front end user (non-admin, non-techie) to trace a problem call start to finish and identify the problem.

Second favorite is the ability to switch inbound toll free routes dynamically if there are any carrier issues. That means ZERO downtime.

SMS long code capability is easy to use and implement into our existing workflow. Happy with results.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

The platform is fairly deep. While common items are easy to use and straightforward, digging into the depths takes time and technical understanding. Learning curve is not shallow.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Best quality routing for contact centers without crazy rate variation. Other carriers there is a choice between quality and least cost routing. thinQ is quality with very good cost routing. They probably aren't the cheapest on every route. They deliver good rates without sacrificing quality or using gray routes.

Had a FAS issues with some other carriers. Absolutely none with thinQ. Problem solved.

We provide a SaaS contact center solution for clients. High availability is an absolute requirement and thinQ has delivered that.

  ### 7. A robust carrier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** alexandre f. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Their really robust CDR interface I also really love the fact that they offer a tool to bridge with Twilio and Plivo, which cut their cost by 2. They also give you the ability to choose your termination provider and the max cost you want to pay.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Nothing comes really in my mind, and I don't use them fully because they charge in USD and I Charge my customer in CAD so I prefer a CAD provider for now

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

Nothing come in my mind

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use them to bridge with Plivo, that help me to split my cost by 2

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Love reading reviews like this, Alexandre. thinQ prides itself on being the best bring your own carrier solution to Twilio, Plivo, SignalWire... quick set up, one small code change, and calls sound better and deliver savings of 50% on average. That adds up to significant savings on your cost of goods solid / capex / opex, fantastic!

  ### 8. Cost effective doesn't have to mean cheap.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

It's a tie between their prices, transparency and customer service. Their customer service has been phenomenal. Starting with the sales team and ending with their technical support, I don't know if I've had a better experience with a company in a long while. I'm a smaller client as well, barely meeting the monthly minimums and they have been great.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Nothing notable thus far. The only (minor) downside is the requirement of an annual contract and a small minimum monthly commitment.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

Evaluate your use case, but thinq has been great to work with, and their prices are competitive.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was having reliability issues where I was handling my inbound and outbound calls before. ThinQ has helped me solve that, and also allowed me to lower my costs for handling TFNs for my clients.

  ### 9. Using ThinQ is easy and fast to deploy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael P. | Vice President - IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Quick implementation of DIDs, features, services, no reason to call a salesperson to get things done. Can add new trunks, DID's and other features with just a few clicks.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Minimum spend on new accounts makes it hard to start new businesses or projects unrelated to each other.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

They don't ask you to sign lengthy contracts, so sign up is pretty straightforward and risk-free as long as you can meet their minimum spend.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DID consolidation and LCR capabilities have been fantastic! We're able to save money with the LCR capabilities and subvert outbound carrier outages.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> We've worked hard to provide a truly unique platform and set of APIs that put the visibility, control, and cost-savings in your hands - no more long waits and filing support tickets. Just better. Glad we could help, Michael!

  ### 10. Great provider!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruce R. | Director of Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

I really do like the new combined portal, it is more streamlined and on par with other carriers. But even before that Thinq is one of my favorite carriers to work with both on the order and porting side as well as support when we need to diagnose a customer report. We get alerts on suspicious activity and a responsive team to work with. I believe Thinq is the only provider we work with that we can actually go into the portal, and find a full SIP debug on a call or call attempt and follow the segments through to see deep into which carriers were involved and which connections. This has been a huge benefit when troubleshooting things like Carrebian carriers accepting some outbound calls but not others. That info can also be quickly linked into a ticket to get a support rep to exactly the same call when we have questions.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Early on the 2 portals, one for inbound and another for outbound was a hurdle, but that has been overcome with the new Thinq.io portal. The billing is still separate, but that works for us. We have used them since 2016 and I can only think of a couple of outages or major issues and all of those they were quick to resolve and communicated with us very well.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

If you are looking to tap into a whole slew of carriers for your outbound and get the best rates possible, or save on ibound toll-free minutes, then THinQ is the best I have seen at this.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The two biggest are our international routing and Toll-free LCR. We have saved a lot on toll-free over the years with the LCR features. When it comes to international it is nice having access to so many carrier options without having to get multiple accounts.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Bruce, big thanks from our develoment team on your love for thinQ io! It was important to us to modernize the platforms and combine them in a very thoughtful way, adding new workflows to make it easy to set up new trunks, research call issues, take carriers in and out of route, and all the rest. We're hard at work on adding new billing features to give you new flexibility and visibility, along with even more workflows and capabilities with the addition of Commio. Lots more to come!

  ### 11. Easy and Cheap (Without loss on quality)!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ty E. | MANAGER/ LEAD TECHNICIAN/ VOIP ENGINEER, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The UI is really easy to navigate. Also, the support team is A1! They system "just works" as well. COnfigure with IP or DNS!

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

How numbers are managed in the UI. Its not difficult, but has room for improvement. Really difficult to navigate if you're trying to manage multiple numbers. Also, an easier search function would be nice.‎‎‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎‎‎‎ ‎

  ### 12. Thinq has been good to us

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geoff T. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Thinq has reasonable pricing we have been happy with that. They also have easy to use and well documented APIs for doing custom integrations.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

We have had issues with messaging, mainly on the enablement side. Enablement has improved but not always a smooth process for new turnups.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

I would recommend you give them a shot and see if they work out well for you.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to provide reliable voice service as well as SMS and MMS messaging to our customers using Thinq. LCR helps keep origination costs down.

  ### 13. very likely

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

because its LCR, there are multiple ULCs involved thus you can do route blocking. I also like the Diagnostics capability

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

maybe the cost of the call is a little higher compared to competitors

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SIP voice related issues like call quality, fax related destinations, calls not completed, etc

  ### 14. Great aggregator provider

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dex A. | I, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Many choices of underlying carriers to use. You can set up your own routes and control how much you can spend

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

The team is small, and sometimes it takes a longer to get issues resolved

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

If you need a good originating and terminating provider that is easy to setup look no further

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThinQ uses Inlelliquent as an originating carrier. So all incoming calls are properly routed, and there are rarely any issues.
Routes change updates are fast and ThinQ has API and great portal to use

  ### 15. Telecom done different. Telecom done right.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

We were tired of the "old ways" of telecom, and thinQ provides a fresh take on the space. We can get support for our product in minutes, rather than days (sometimes weeks) with thinQ. You get to have a relationship with your reps, you aren't just another number on a spreadsheet. Their interface on the website is clean and user-friendly, but also gives a significant amount of control to your call routing.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Support at times can be a little difficult to get the information you need,

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

They have a fantastic trial period to test their product, as well as a ramp up period to get switched over. You owe it to your organization to at least hear them out and test the product. You will not regret it!

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Telecom delivery to our on prem PBX. The largest benefit is the carrier agnostic approach to telephony. If Verizon is having an outage, we can turn off that route and the issue is avoided until it is resolved by the carrier. With no underlying carriers we don't risk having downtime, which is a huge factor for our organization.

  ### 16. thinQ offers innovative solutions to telephony challenges

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason N. | Vice President, Client Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Having a flexible interface where you can choose the provider that you are utilizing at that moment is quite powerful. Having the ability to switch away from a provider having acute issues is critical to a business that cannot afford any telephony service issues.

Updating this review, I have seen first hand the relief that thinQ has provided to clients who have had telephony service issues. This has eliminated down time and provided no interruption to service!

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

There isn't much to dislike. Some of the most advanced features like auto-switching to other more expensive circuit rates can impact the wallet, but it's a fair trade off for not having service interruptions. Hard to put a price on customer satisfaction and perception!

Dealing with individual CO's is exceedingly difficult, and thinQ removes this barrier!

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

If you have premise based telephony, you should at the very least consider thinQ. They likely support your telephony provider in their partners anyway.

thinQ also plays in the cloud space and is a provider for many cloud platforms!

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our clients are solving service issues by having the flexibility to leverage many different providers through just one service and interface.

Key point is eliminating downtime which this does dynamically. Very efficient.

  ### 17. Amazing broad scale communications platform with agile features and functionality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lou C. | Senior Cloud Subject Matter Expert, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

THINQ's ability to port, purchase and procure DIDs is amazing - the visibility into troubleshooting via ladder diagrams and pcap's all within our own portals drastically reduces troubleshooting and shows our clients we are in charge of the situations at hand. Combine that with a top lineup of carrier choices and industry best pricing and this is a powerful solution for any VoIP provider.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Wish there was the concept of multi-tenancy and separate billing profiles. That would make this a home run for us as a service provider, but probably not needed for all clients.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

Take it for a test drive, the platform was easy to evaluate and use and the benefits are so apparent when used in the real world.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instant turnaround of DID provisioning, troubleshooting and redundancy for clients.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Lou, thanks for your review - we couldn't agree more with your request to add enhanced billing features. We're hard at work on that portion of thinQ io as we speak, watch for more details in the coming quarter. We're glad you find our phone number (DID) purchasing and porting/provision process so helpful, and our support team is always here to help.

  ### 18. Thinq has been a great business partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean S. | UX Design & Research Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Great service and support, walked me through the process of setting up service and integration with our platform of choice

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

No complaints! This was our first in-house VOIP setup and thinQ was a great partner

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

thinQ provided great 1 on 1 support to help us work though our questions and during setup

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thinq powers our 3CX VOIP solution that serves phone services for our sales center with over 20 reps.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> We have lots of 3CX implementations, both with enterprise companies like yours and service providers. Easy installation, cost savings, better call quality... we aim to please. Thanks, Sean.

  ### 19. thinQ carrier services

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

I like that we can go into their portal and change routes as needed, along with opening support tickets for any issues we have.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I wish there was a read only or lower level account for the portal, and that routes changes have an expiration.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to adjust routes when issues have been reported to us by our customers

  ### 20. ThinQ

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

  ### 21. A powerful number management platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

I like that I am able to separate the voice and sms functionality of a number.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I don't like the user interface. The porting is a little clunky as well.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a vendor that could separate the SMS and voice functionality of our numbers.

  ### 22. Excellent service and support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike S. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

ThinQ's admin site allows us to create multiple trunks with different rules. The system is very flexible. The offer automated lowest cost routing rules , or we can manually specify carriers to use and caps on per minute costs. ThinQ also provides daily spend thresholds for NA and INTL calling to ensure we don't bleed money in the event any of our clients accounts are compromised.
Thank you ThinQ ~

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

They couldn't take credit cards with Canadian addresses, but that's been fine they accept PayPal and other methods of payments as well.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fraud protection, low cost routing.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Mike, glad the controls and capabilities of thinQ are helping you save money, route your calls most efficiently, and at high quality. We're hard at work on our billing system to make it even better, watch for more details.

  ### 23. Great US DID supplier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick J. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

Their easy process of ordering DID ranges

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

The inability to search for specific DIDs

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thinq has been a great partner for our VoIP service n Belgium. We've been able to provide our Belgian customers with US DIDs

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Nick, we just released updates to our phone number ordering system to allow you to search for blocks of numbers and more. Sign in to thinQ io today, enjoy!

  ### 24. ThinQ is PERFECT

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

ThinQ allowed our business to switch communications from a large but high cost provider and instantly save 70 cents for phone numbers, we have like 200 numbers and at least $5 per 1,000 minutes. Overall, the platform has saved us at least $450 per month. Since our 2yrs using ThinQ, we've only had to contact a handful amount of times and it was mostly user errors. Highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

That i didn't find out about them until now.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lower cost communication fees and lowered "down" cost from not having issues daily like previous provider.

  ### 25. Love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

I love how easy that makes it to add new clients as well as the reliability.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

For a while, I was not too fond of the fact that inbound and outbound were two separate portals, but now it's great that they are combined.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving some international calling and international inbound numbers and using the LCR service to keep rates lower.

**Official Response from Tim McLain:**

> Delivering 40 layers of carrier redundancy, and giving you full control and transparency, adds up to a reliable way to deliver your communications - thanks for your review!

  ### 26. Great People and easy to configure!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom C. | P, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Really easy to setup and configure. Fast setup.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

They don't offer e911 on non-ThinQ DID's

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

I have dealt with many VOIP carriers and ThinQ is one of the best out there. Their support is fantastic and their pricing is also great.
They are a step ahead of most other carriers in this space.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a redundant carrier. Inexpensive pricing and affordable

  ### 27. Quality of Service and pricing are great. Love the carrier options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert L. | Founder & CEO | IT Expert , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Commio?**

I like having the different call path options instead of being stuck with 1 that could potentially go down or have bad service. Being able to route for the best path is a huge benefit. Never had any call failures or issues with call quality.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Having 2 portals to manage incoming and outgoing.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

I don't think other Voip providers can do what thinQ does. Having multiple carrier options is a huge benefit

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having great voip service and lower communication costs.

  ### 28. ThinQ review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

I like their portal is very user-friendly and that you can set trigger alerts when a limit passed with the ability to auto-close the trunk.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

Our team has no portal access to call in to support, and it takes a while to turn back on those trunks.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making outbounds and inbounds calls

  ### 29. Great service and solid product

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave N. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The customer service has been fantastic in helping get us setup. Once it was setup everything has gone really smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

The API documentation was not clear on specific limits and information. Talking with the customer service team they were able to address them quickly but it would have been nice to know ahead of time.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Text messaging is what we've been using thinQ for and it's saved us a lot in costs.

  ### 30. Best International Carrier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean B. | Señor Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The limits and fraud protection that Thinq provides is top notch. They alert us and shut down fraud almost immediately when it happens thus saving us thousands in fraud.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

They don't drop active calls so if the fraud is already happening you can get a negative balance.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving being able to reach any place in the world by phone. There is not many areas we cant reach now. They are quick with support as well.

  ### 31. Migrating from Twilio to ThinQ saved me a bunch of money.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric N. | VP of Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

The API's were a drop-in replacement for Twilio's APIs. You do have to change the logic/buffer which took us a few days to roll out.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I did not like the annual contract/commitment. Twilio is pay as you go.

ThinQ didn't have SMS support for international carriers. They only support domestic carriers.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lowering our monthly Twilio text messaging bill. We were able to lower the text messaging bill by 70% (mission accomplished)!

I would recommend other folks to ThinQ. It's easy to get going, the rates are right, and you have LCR control.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem we resolved is redundancy on our inbound toll-free traffic. The visibility to see high rate areas in the country and adjust our pricing accordingly.

  ### 37. Excellent Customer Service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Our account manager and customer success manager have been readily available for all help and support we've required, on hand without delay.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

International telephony has not been of the highest quality and we've had to block more than half of the carriers in thinQs network. There are less than ten, so this feels riskier than we'd like, but the remaining carriers perform well.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Save costs on calls made via Twilio.

  ### 38. thinQ is an excellent VoIP service provider!

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

A little aggressive getting you to on sign up.

  ### 49. Great VoIP Provider with sales that aren't pushy.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Commio?**

First off I loved that the sales guy wasn't pushy which is a big plus in starting a relationship. Once they setup my account they gave me test credit to see how well the services worked, we forgot to test the service and my sales rep nicely reached out to make sure we didn't need any help. Since then the customer support has been top notch and we haven't any problems with them or their services.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

The only thing I dislike is a small stupid thing which they said they are working on. I dislike that there are 3 portals, one for incoming, one for outgoing and one for support, last time I talked to them they were working on combing them or making them work better together. Lots of other providers have the portals split up and seems like more a norm in the industry.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

If your looking to use ThinQ I recommend that you read the documentation and understand VoIP terms and how SIP works. For all questions be sure to utilize the support they are very friendly, get back in a timely manner and know the product.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems I solved with ThinQ was that I wanted to use rates from several different carries without have separate accounts for each carrier. With ThinQ I get access to their routes and rates without signing into 12 different accounts and downloading 12 different rate decks.

  ### 50. Greater redundancy and features than providers that cost more

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan G. | Systems Admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Commio?**

Powerful & granular self service tools that allow absolute control over call routing in an immediate fashion. LCR route profiles and blocks have become essential tools. They also appear to be reinvesting in their network to improve it.

**What do you dislike about Commio?**

I would like better pre-built reporting on inbound and outbound costs. The data is there, but some of it requires export and manipulation.

**Recommendations to others considering Commio:**

Just go for it.

**What problems is Commio solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We moved to thinQ after being unhappy with the reliability and voice quality of other providers. Not only did we resolve those issues by going with them - we realized cost benefits, as well as much more control and options in call routing.
