"A customer management solution that fits our small business needs"

What do you like best?

For a platform geared towards small business, over version of SugarCRM is really powerful and helps us to many a wealth of data and communications. The layout and various pages in the user portal are sleek and easy to navigate. We can store all of the data we need about our customers and track sales pipelines, calls and other communications. The email marketing feature is one of the most effective sales tools we have. There are great templates that let us get emails design and out to leads and clients in very little time. The templates are usually very nicely designed and allow for modifications to help fit our specific requirements.

What do you dislike?

I've seen the list of features of many CRM platforms out there and find that there will usually be certain things that some platforms have that others don't. I've read about a few email marketing features that are more customizable and automated in other CRM platforms that I would like to see in SugarCRM. I still like SugarCRM's email capabilities, but it's probably not as full-featured and intelligent as other CRM platforms that seem to be geared more towards email campaigns.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

SugarCRM seems to be one of the more powerful CRM platforms that can also be used with comfort by small businesses. By comfort, I mean the usage and pricing aren't beyond what I think most small businesses can handle. Any CRM can likely make your business run more efficiently from many angles, but I think SugarCRM is particularly good for its price and can be a good value for your company.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The metrics and other feedback information in our SugarCRM account really give us the upper hand when it comes to analyzing our overall sales and marketing efforts. We have access to solid numbers data, along with more textual feedback from clients, that gives us a meaningful picture of our current state with a road map to actual actions. We see a good amount of increased efficiency when it comes to using the SugarCRM platform compared to not using it. It's a platform that isn't extremely confusing to use and can be implemented for almost every type of campaign and product we launch.

"SugarCRM has impressed us with its management of pipelines "

What do you like best?

It is excellent to check captures of potential clients, as well as to distribute them and segment them to our liking. It has excellent prospecting tools, and allows us to review the follow-up of each interaction with customers according to an organized historical record. We really like your marketing system, with which we can organize different campaigns through the advertising methods that we decide to implement. Another pro for SugarCRM is your good email editor, based on the WYSIWYG system.

What do you dislike?

With regard to the management of budgets and offers, the platform has many limitations. For example, it does not allow lists to be carried, nor does it allow for informative analyzes. SugarCRM does not offer enough models for email marketing, and its tracking of customer referrals is usually very limited. Your landing page management system is slow.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

We are totally pleased with this software. SugarCRM has proven to be versatile, adaptable, and very reliable. We recommend it mainly for the management of sales funnels, since we can add much more information about the funnels than with other platforms.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This platform has given us enormous advantages in the management of our advertising campaigns, and also with the management of social marketing. Its excellent ability to integrate into social networking platforms has made it much faster to work within them, and its client evaluation system allows us to segment them more comfortably than before.

"Overall this is my first CRM experience and i have enjoyed it"

What do you like best?

I think the best experience is that you can edit a majority of the items and customize it to your liking.

like that you can use the mobile version which is friendly

love the business card reader

i like the fact how you can set timelines on pretty much every subject to filter this

What do you dislike?

1. it needs to be faster when you edit something

2. instead of clicking on the drop down to edit something you should be able to just click in the box

3. you should be able to sort your task by date on the mobile version

4. Android version needs cleaned up to the point where it look more professional like the iphone

5. everything should be in CAPS

6. needs to be faster when you save something

7. outlook sync and Sugar need to work flawlessly, they dont it is hit and miss

8. we created a tab for entering equipment and listing price and that needs to be fast. we typically only have 2-3 pieces of equipment but i can imagine if someone has 20 items

The more you use this and the more you force yourself to turn away from what you previously use and use this you will love this

organization problems has always been a must for me, this is def helped.

we are able to now predict the sales side which we were never able to do

before sugar we never had a sales funnel and now we are able to see our quote log and what we are predicitng per month

"SugarCRM is indispensable when handling leads"

What do you like best?

It has document storage, and an internal chat integration that is really practical. SugarCRM allows you to track the interactions of our contacts, and also allows you to import them and export them completely free. It has tools for prospecting contacts.

What do you dislike?

Its system of calendars and reminders is really confusing because of the user interface. It does not offer the possibility of integrating to social networks, or generating and evaluating leads. It does not allow management of customer knowledge, or follow up on customer assistance.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It allows you to carry out email marketing, and segment leads in a professional and highly organized manner. It is undoubtedly an excellent tool to manage funnels, and to carry an adequate sales force automation. Fully recommended to do email marketing.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Excellent for categorizing online customers, more than average CRM platforms. It is exceptional in the application of forecasting, and in the management of customer databases. Your field sales management is highly customizable, as is your performance metric system.

"As sweet as Sugar ;)"

What do you like best?

Apart from being able to make sugar related puns, everything about it. It's a VERY easy CRM to use and as a new hire straight out of college it was great to be able to get a grasp of the technology on the first day. It does have a few bugs but most tech does so I wouldn't hold it against it.

What do you dislike?

The search functionality is flawed at the best of times. You can add a lead, work on a contact then close out and come back only for it to tell you that the data doesn't exist, when you know it does. Causes quite a bit of frustration towards the end of the day.. many a tantrum have been thrown

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Update the search functionality as it's terribly slow at the best of the time. Also, it shows that data isn't in the CRM when in fact the data is there. You could upload a lead, work on it, close the site then reopen and search for that person to be told it's not there

"A CRM with great flexibility and custom options"

What do you like best?

I really like the report function that is easily customizable and allows monitoring and tracking of the team's performance. In addition, you can also export the report results to spreadsheets for further analysis. The next amazing feature of this platform is its control panels. They are one of the most important parts of the platform and one of the simplest tools. Using SugarCRM does not require any coding skills. We largely just drag and drop items.

What do you dislike?

The SugarCRM platform doesn't always work without problems. Sometimes there are bugs that are not always solved even after the updates, which is somewhat disappointing. I would also like to mention that the support team is sometimes slow. When you ask for help, it will take a while until you receive the answer and advice on how to solve your problem.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I think SugarCRM is a suitable platform for both large and small organizations, as it can completely cover most sales and general business needs. I would recommend that you use the SugarCRM platform because it adapts well to your tasks and the results you may will should be better than without using it.

SugarCRM mainly provides our sales and marketing departments with many automated business development tools. It's a great way for all of our teams, including those outside of sales and marketing, to be constantly connected to current events and data surrounding lead generation and nurturing. We can leverage the data for reporting purposes and also to help us refine our engagement efforts. We can also use their email tools to communicate with our contacts in a measured and automated way.

"Great CEM WHICH IS AVAILABLE AS OPENSOURCE "

What do you like best?

This one provides a very simple interface which helps easy to navigate throughout the CRM. It keeps your data handy which make you get all the report on time. We can also create a different campaign for different teams which helps your sales and marketing team at the same time. happy to use.

What do you dislike?

It looks like it's it bit slow, not sure its internal problem with us or it's actually slow because of code.

Yes it's well easy to use and cost effective so please go for it and try you will love it

We were facing challenges to manage sales and marketing campaign, not with the help of this its resolve. Now we can create for both teams and easily manage all the data within CRM only.

"Excellent to manage the sales of any type of company."

What do you like best?

It has a large amount of sales tools and tools to track potential customers. The management of reports is very complete and is completely customizable.

What do you dislike?

The case management tools should be improved. I have noticed certain failures in those functions.

It is a fairly complete tool with some reporting functions that has been very helpful to manage the sales of my company. It has a good price. Excellent.

We are currently in the testing phase of this product and we have been excited about the sales tools that it has, I really like the ability to personalize and the customer service that is exceptional. We have tried other options but SugarCRM is covering all our expectations and we will surely pay a business plan to work comfortably.

"Excellent CRM system that's easily customizable."

What do you like best?

I love how easy it is to customize the system to fit your company's individual needs. It's easy to pull data from the system into reports that can be exported to Excel for deeper analysis.

What do you dislike?

I don't like the way licensing works. We have quite a few users that need access to the system but not on a regular basis - maybe only once or twice a month. I wish there was an option to purchase licenses for the number of users that maybe accessing the system at any given time instead of having to pay for a monthly license for people that barely use it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Make sure you have someone within your organization that can really get to know how SugarCRM works and can function as an internal consultant so you can get the most out of your system. It can pretty much do anything you can think of but you have to learn how to "think" like Sugar and be a natural problem solver, not just a programmer.

SugarCRM has given us a central platform to store all of company and project data. This has opened the door for better communication between departments. It's also forced us to see where are various processes are broken so we can tighten up our procedures.

"Flexible, Customizable and Trusted system"

What do you like best?

Very easy to configure, Code level customisations are easy, Powerful set of complete suite of modules and features at one standard cost (no hidden cost), Nice UI and app, Very strong Admin console to be able to do most on the configurations without the use of code or developers

What do you dislike?

No updates on Reporting and Marketing tools, No industry specific solutions, moving away from standard processes does effect speed and upgrades sometimes, Not very user friendly and customisable connectors, very sad at Social media integration tools and lagging behind in inbuilt collaboration / chat tools, It is easy to run a B2B setup but not suited for B2C companies

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you need a extremely flexible CRM system with complicated processes, go for Sugar. Make sure you select a good vendor and have someone onsite/full time internally as a CRM Manager or Consultant to speed implementation and save cost on development

"SUGARCRM REVIEW "

What do you like best?

I think the "convert" option is a good tool. It makes it simple and easy to create and convert the Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities and Leads together. I also think the "import leads" option process is good too. It's very convenient when you have a large amount of information that you need to import right away. I think inputting the Leads is simple and easy to do.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes the "convert" option is a bit difficult to do and understand. Many Reps forget to "create opportunity" first and just go straight to "save and convert", which does not entirely save the Opportunity and then you'll need to create one. This creates another step for the Reps and is double work for them. I like the "import leads" template, however, it'd be a lot of easier if I didn't have to copy and paste the info to it, just to match the columns. Many of the Reps have an issue with the "email notification". They are able to modify info on the Opportunity Module like the Expected Close Date and Sales Stage. But when a modification is done, they still receive email notifications from the previous info inputted and not the new info.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Able to track the Reps activity and progress. The Mileage Module helps track the Reps activity and how much of their territory is being worked on and how much traveling they do. The Opportunity Module helps track the progress of their Leads and how many of their Leads can become Demo and actual Sales.

"Best CRM ever - The "poor man's Salesforce.com""

What do you like best?

Ease of customization using the integrated Studio and Process Management tool. Excellent support staff that responds quickly and efficiently to correct things and to answer questions about use and implementation. The self study tutorials are great and the release documentation is easy to follow. SugarCRM is on a path to release new function and improve performance and correct "bugs" on a quarterly basis. We are staying current with every release, and because there's no custom coding our upgrades to the newest release is almost seamless.

What do you dislike?

There really isn't anything to "dislike" - Yes, there is some functionality I'd like to see, but the development team at SugarCRM is rolling out improvements and bug fixes on a quarterly basis and I'm being patient.

Dramatically improved customer relationship management - Maintain regular contact with customers, manage special price quotes, manage Returned Goods Authorization, manage the order entry process, manage purchasing, manage the product test process.

" Customizable software for tracking relationships, but mediocre support"

What do you like best?

Sugar's customizability is a real asset to our business, because we are able to modify our approach (both macro and micro) to sales without being inhibited by the inability of our CRM system to keep up. In that same vein, the levels of reporting in Sugar gives us the ability to see our sales funnel from many different angles.

What do you dislike?

Sugar's direct customer support has been frustratingly subpar. One of the benefits of Sugar is that it has lower price points, but at those lower price points, support is lacking, and the software is stripped of some of its most powerful features (Advanced Workflows in particular). This doubles down on the issue by making accomplishing certain tasks much harder, as well as removing the easy support help to execute it. Sugar also has both a cloud option and an on-premise implementation option, but the on-premise option receives far fewer feature updates than the cloud option, while still costing the same.

The lack of direct linking with Outlook is a struggle for our salespeople. The plugin is good in theory, but in reality has enough quirks (can't choose accounts, very sensitive and creates duplications easily, etc.) that we haven't been able to implement it in a sufficiently hassle-free manner to justify using it, and having Sugar disassociated with Outlook is a struggle.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Sugar's lower price point is nice, but if you're looking for any sort of complex use cases, you'll be spending either substantial time or money outside of that to figure out implementation. Sugar has a lower feature set built in natively.

We're able to track and report on our sales opportunities with great precision and accuracy, which has allowed us to begin to accurately forecast our upcoming sales. Because of that, we're able to grow in the direction that we want to, giving each opportunity the exact amount of attention it warrants, without ever losing sight of the forest for the trees.

It’s all features are great and easy to use. This is the best marketing software and provide the great platform for our customers. This software is best dealer, we can deal with the regular customer by using this software. The one most important benefit is that software, it is the best reporting software for all functions that we use. It is also a best tracker for the business, and it is very fast software. Its helps for the business to run fast and successful for the business. It’s all the functions are too much easy and all the features are outstanding. It provides the best security of our system and it also gives the best sales price of our customers. This software is mostly use for business because it is very easy to use.

What do you dislike?

This is the best marketing software for business but sometimes it cannot provide the best market price of our customers. The one biggest problem is that software, it’s a very bad connection provider, the bad service cannot provide the best market rates for our customers. This is an expensive software and most of the people can't afford this software. It is very bad consumerization software and it can't provide the more information about this software. But this is very useful for us and easy.

This software is almost best because it is very easy to use and it's all features are outstanding and easy. It is expensive but it has great ability to provide the best security of our system and deal with the costumer. Para una plataforma orientada a la pequeña empresa, sobre versión de SugarCRM es realmente poderosa y nos ayuda a una gran cantidad de datos y comunicaciones. El diseño y las diversas páginas del portal de usuario son elegantes y fáciles de navegar. What do you like best?

SugarCRM is one the best platform that offers exceptional flexibility through its highly customizable features. This CRM is very easy to use because of its simple design and easy to use user interface. The most advantage that this software provide us is that it provides the great reports and the dashboards. Moreover, the SugarCRM provide the complete security of data and data information. Hence it is so simple to use and provides amazing results for reports and dashboards, their customer’s support teams are very responsive. We also used the SugarCRM to manage the selling process, it helped keep all contact information in a very efficient way.

What do you dislike?

The one most obvious difficulty that we faced is that there is no great documentation of the SugarCRM. Another disadvantage of this software that it is so hard to make an update and change the exciting functionality. It is not very easy to use for the beginners. But still its features are outstanding such as the contacts management and scheduling is great for sales and customer service to communicate with our friends, colleagues and customers.

It really helped me to keep to all contacts information save and secure in a more efficient way. SugarCRM also provide the great opportunity to manage the selling purpose. What do you like best?

The best thing about this software is that SugarCRM can better track of sales and lead. Another best thing about this software is that it has the outstanding features such as the reporting feature and the customizations service. It is the great software for keeping track of client’s data, deal tracking and much more. Hence sugar is the super customizable. It allowed us as a small business of track, bill and market to our customers and the potential customers. I like that the SugarCRM provides reports and dashboards which is very easy to understand. SugarCRM provide the complete security of data and information. Hence their customer’s support is very responsive.

What do you dislike?

The one thing that I don’t like about this software is that the small organization cannot afford the CRM and it not take the fully advantage of this efficient software. Another disadvantage of this software is that sometimes the information can blend together and can be difficult to find it if there are long list of things which you are looking for. But to conclude that SugarCRM is the best software for tracking the sales and lead in a more efficient way.

"SugarCRM The best CRM software in the world."

What do you like best?

The SugarCRM software offers my company tools necessary for the absolute control of the relationship with my clients. Establish an integrated database and know all the essential metrics within a simple and usable CRM interface. It offers the essential functionalities for an efficient and centralized management of the three fundamental areas of management and customer acquisition: sales force, customer service and marketing management.

What do you dislike?

The implementation of SugarCRM software in most cases requires assistance or hiring of personnel in systems, which starts to generate extra costs.

I found it very interesting, implement this CRM in the company, because it seems manageable and the best thing is free code. I recommend it.

"Best CRM Application in terms of Fully integrated simple yet effective platform."

What do you like best?

SugarCRM facilitates integration of most complex top to bottom customer processes that too with simple interface making it user-friendly meanwhile achieving solution to all crucial functions. Its platform also work on Cloud making possible working anywhere anytime.

What do you dislike?

Well, I personally found nothing bad to point finger on, but though it would be appreciable to make customer support more responsive and getting resolution turnaround time to minimal. Rest assured. Thumbs up to SugarCRM Team!

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would recommend to go for SugarCRM but first have a hand on trail version and proceed if it meets your requirements. Users won't be disappointed. It is best suited for small to medium enterprise also.

"SugarCRM review - works great for our business"

What do you like best?

I like Sugar's UI, as it's very intuitive, and the user-customisable views, let me set up my screens and dashboards to let me see exactly what I need to see to ensure my customers and opportunities are all on track.

What do you dislike?

While Sugar is great in handling Leads, Contacts, Opps, Accounts, Forecasting, Quotes, COntracts, Projects, Sugar has been a little lacking on the marketing side. It does have automated emails and target lists which we use, but the content (eg template) creation tool is quite basic, which meant you had to cut and past HTML int there. But recently Sugar acquired a Marketing Automation Company called Salesfusion, so I'm guessing thats going to make it much better soon for marketing teams using it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you need a tool that's flexible and can be configured without developer skiils, and have a budget of more than 10K per year, then definitely trial it before you make your decision.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have our sales, customer support, and operations team use Sugar to capture all interactions, and allows us to see what happenning at any time with the customer acrosss the teams. Even emails are catured in the CRM, so all can see the latest conversations going on to be up to speeed when we speak to a customer. We also use it to manage out monthly and annual recurring revenues, which are automated, so clients renewals are sorted easily without input from the sales team unless necessary. Account management plans are also built into Sugar meaning that regular communication is planned and happens when it should to ensure clients are looked after.

"SugarCRM is perfect for us"

What do you like best?

The software is very customizable, reports are easy to build, and the platform contains tools for sales, marketing, and support teams. We appreciate the intuitive interface and ability to easily query information.

What do you dislike?

Updates can be very difficult - custom fields are not always retained, often resulting in long delays between installing the updates. Some of our users also find the Reports to be cumbersome and not intuitive.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

SugarCRM is an excellent CRM tool - if you are looking for something that is customizable, flexible, and intuitive, look no further.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a tool with strong CRM functionality to replace our old system. SugarCRM has saved us time and helped shorten our sales pipeline.

"Decent CRM System"

What do you like best?

The best things about Sugar (in theory) are the ways to integrate with email and putting together lists. The lead scores generated with the integration with Act-On are also helpful.

What do you dislike?

We got Sugar to use in conjunction with Act-On...but the integrate doesn't really work. The lists don't carry over like they're supposed to. The lists are difficult to put together and edit. The function of filters is not very intuitive.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We didn't have a great way to organize our contacts, and Sugar's basic functions are easy to navigate. For my colleagues that use the Sugar plug in as well, it's helpful to integrate contact with any contacts with the click of a button.

"Would never switch from Sugar!"

What do you like best?

I love that sugar is very organzied and how multiple actions I can do in it. It works for multiple departments too; accounting, sales, finance, customer cases, client services, office manager, etc.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it acts strange trying to save something on a page

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I love that with sugar I can keep notes on my clients, and a huge benefit to that is if one of my colleagues in another part of the office can access the same client page as me, and we can both share notes on the client. Also a huge benefit is that it keeps track of phone calls and the time on the phone. Last, a big benefit is that it is linked to my Microsoft Outlook email so I can use outlook for my emails, and view them all in sugar on the clients page.
