I like how Smartsheet keeps the familiar spreadsheet feel of Excel while adding real-time collaboration, automated workflows, and built-in reporting. From my perspective, the main drawbacks are that Smartsheet’s scheduling and resource tools aren’t as powerful as Primavera P6 for complex programs, and some advanced reporting or custom workflows need higher-tier plans or clever workarounds. I like how Smartsheet centralizes documents, comments, and feedback so the whole team can access them instead of relying on private emails. The grid and reporting help me find things and generate ideas and solutions from context clues my team leaves behind. I use Smartsheet for my work to show project progress, overall budget, man-days, and finance like invoicing schedules. What I like most is that it's easy to update. The project plan is clear, and I like how you can click to expand or minimize project phases. The color coded financial agenda is really helpful. What I like most about Smartsheet is its flexibility for project planning and execution. I can manage schedules, task trackers, procurement activities, risks, progress, and responsibilities in one place. The Gantt views and dashboards make it easy to see project status and identify delays or pending actions. I also find the collaboration and sharing features useful when coordinating between different teams, while the spreadsheet-like interface makes it easy to adopt without extensive training. I find Smartsheet very powerful and flexible. It significantly improves how we manage projects and track our deliverables. It allows us to collaborate across teams and the interface is very user-friendly, resembling a spreadsheet. I like the automation part of it, the dashboards, the forms, and the reporting capabilities. The flexibility of Smartsheet is its biggest strength, allowing for customization in project management, PMO governance, task tracking, and business process automation. Certain administrative and reporting functions could be more intuitive. Sometimes it can be slow when handling large data. I use Smartsheet to log my time for the week, and it makes it very easy to log time for the different projects I work on. I like that I can set a timer, but I can also just manually add the hours I work. When I'm working on a project, I can easily start a timer and then work on that specific project, and when I'm done, I stop the timer, so the time gets tracked perfectly and easily in my account and profile. Most of the time I choose to add the time manually, but when there's a quick change of request from a client or a quick change on a project, I can just hop on and use the timer in those cases. The initial setup was very easy and very easy to understand, and I'm very used to using it every day, so I like Smartsheet. It's so much better than the previous product we used, it's easier and more user friendly. With Smartsheet, teams can log their time easily and managers can approve it faster and more efficiently. I can check my time from previous weeks, my manager can approve my time very easily, and I get an email every time it's approved or if there are any issues so I can solve that very quickly. I would like it to be easier for me to add projects from previous week and have things set up as usual, like my lunchtime, for example. Every day, I take exactly one hour for lunch, and I would like to have that set up for every week automatically, and so I don't have to do it every week.","The projects that I work at changed the name increasingly, by the numbers. This week I will work in project one. Next week I will work in project one and two. Then the next week I will be working in projects two and three and so on. I would like that to be populated automatically so I don't have to be doing that repeatedly every week.","There is a button in my profile to add projects from previous weeks, so I can kind of, like, do it in a way, but it's not quite the same because I still need to be adding the next project for the week and then one row for the previous projects. I use Smartsheet for databases and dashboards. I like the way it is organized. It's really useful to assign tasks to a person and to track the status of different tasks. I like the access you can give to a person. The history of every cell is a really good feature, so you can view what was written into single cells in the past. I also like the feature to highlight the cells that have changed from a certain date, and the possibility to have automation. I have been using Smartsheet for around a year, and one of the things I like most is how easy it is to use. Our team uses it extensively to manage operational projects, track activities, and automate business processes. It integrates well with other tools we use, such as Kissflow and DOMO, which has helped us build end-to-end workflows and reduce manual effort across multiple processes.

Another aspect I appreciate is its performance. We've also noticed that, on occasion, large sheets take longer to load or open, which can impact productivity when working on time-sensitive tasks. We use Smartsheet across several projects and operational activities, and the productivity gains from automation and collaboration have made it a worthwhile ROI for our team.
