I like that I can share info without saving and updating a million excel spreadsheets. I plan a lot of events in a year. My favorite part about Smartsheet is the forms I can create to capture registrations and imbed into my invitations. i can keep track of registrations daily and communicate the results to my team quickly. It also helps me to stay in touch with the venue on head count. We have cancelled a few events due to low response. This has saved us money. There is nothing worse than paying for an event that 3 people came to. Now we can see early and reschedule for a later date and drive bigger attendance. Very difficult to learn. We were required to complete the Smartsheet academy. It was a huge time commitment (over 10 hours). A test was required for certification. An 80% or higher was needed to pass. The highest score achieved out of 15 people was 65%. That was with an average 2+ hours to take the open book test. Unanimously it was the hardest process to learn. I also don't like that they changed their license fee structure. I can still be a creator but many on my team had their permissions lowered to viewer only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
