# How do you keep Smartsheet source and archive sheets in sync for accurate KPIs?

I’ve built highly automated Smartsheet workspaces with intake forms, automations, cross-sheet formulas, and dashboards that help teams collaborate, reduce manual data entry, and avoid needless meetings. One challenge is keeping a source sheet and its archive sheet mirrored so metrics and KPIs stay true, especially when new columns get added and inexperienced users create data distortion.
