**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

It has user friendly interface and we can easily create sheet, dashboards, reports etc... We can also assign rights in different workspaces whic makes easier to control project in same tool. seat plans and user  role can be costomized. it is really very helpful..

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

1.  Linking or range can also be selected from report in any formula in sheets. 
2. rows in sheet can be hidden wherever required
3. When we take backup, Reports and dashboard should also be included. 
4. End to End linkage is a problem i.e. linked-in feature limited to some 1 Lac rows. 
5. primary key and foreign key concept should be incorporated. 
6. Formula should be copied forwarded if we link cells.  
7. more user wise authentication rights with customization should be included.
8. there are no features to see activity of all users at one place.. we have to see sheet wise
9. Reports can not be used in new sheet for data linkages 
10. There are limitation of cell references

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smartsheet is a good tool. It needs some functions to be incorporated.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

I like the overall convenience of having all of my sheets in one place, and the ease of being able to link between sheets as well.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

I dislike when Smartsheet is slower to update pages. For instance, I often link between sheets. However, when linking, it takes a while and multiple refreshes for the data to populate in.

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves the issue of having to create multiple sheets and store them differing places. Also the convenience of sharing and allowing editing between users.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

I find Smartsheet easy to use, which is great for managing our nursing program. It's very helpful in organizing and tracking tasks related to student success, faculty in clinicals, and other college-related activities. The reporting aspect is particularly useful, allowing me to pull data easily, and the filters make this process even more effective. I also found the initial setup of Smartsheet to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

I'd love to find a way to click an icon that would send an email automatically to a person, but not necessarily an email where they would have access to the link itself. Also, more training on some features would be beneficial.

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Smartsheet to organize our nursing program, keeping track of students and faculty effectively. It solves problems by providing easy organization and tracking, and I can quickly get reports where needed.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

1. It almost binds the project from end to end.
2. Linkage of various worksheets
3. Reports are pretty handy when it comes to the consolidation of various sheets.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

1. Limited visualisation and functionalities in the dashboard. 
2. What I most hate about smart-sheet is its inability to copy and paste formulas from one sheet to another.
3. There must be one more access criterion other than "Editor can't share," where a user may enter values but cannot change the sheet's structure, i.e., deletion of rows/columns, etc.
4. During back-up, dashboards should also be included.
5. There must be some formula based on which we can make a cell, a row or a column inactive (greyed-out) for data entry (other than lock functionality)

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A reform project has been underway since 2017 involving various stakeholders, and in this project, the smart-sheet tool plays a vital role in data collection, management and scoring purposes.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

I like Smartsheet's user interface because it's easy to navigate, similar to Excel, which people are already very familiar with. I also appreciate its auto-notification feature that I can customize. As a project manager, I find it valuable to set follow-up emails and reminders without having to do it manually. It's also great that all stakeholders can see a project's actions in a single sheet with all details, and the auto reminders for overdue tasks are really helpful. The initial setup was very easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

I have observed that the login process could be simplified. When I share the sheet link with someone who doesn't have an account, the process to open the account and access the shared sheet isn't very smooth. I have to do it multiple times for the user to gain access. Ideally, after clicking the link, it should just ask the user to select a password and then direct them straight to the shared sheet. It should be just a two-step process.

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Smartsheet to manage cross-functional projects, allowing all stakeholders to see project actions in one place, and it provides customizable auto reminders for overdue tasks.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

I like using Smartsheet for managing and tracking work in progress as it allows our team to see what everyone is working on all in one place. The feature that lets the team drop in priority comments and color code everything is quite helpful. I appreciate Smartsheet's similarity to Excel, which makes it more familiar and easier to use. It's quite straightforward as a tool, so the initial setup wasn't difficult, especially since other teams within our business were already using it. Our team particularly uses the sheets feature the most.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

Outdent and indentation don't seem to be the easiest to use. It doesn't work to the same extent I envision it to. Often I will want to indent a certain line/row, but other cells/rows below may follow suit.

Smartsheet allows our team to see what everyone is working on all in one place, with the ability to add priority comments and color code tasks.

The best feature that distinguishes Smartsheet from similar programs is the ability to upload documents directly to rows in new sheets. This is a game changer for organization and reporting deadlines!

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

I think unlike Excel, Smartsheet does have a few limited features that I wish they would adopt. The ability to merge cells, freeze the top row, etc. are some of the features that Smartsheet lacks. Otherwise, I think Smartsheet is very robust and an exceptional organizational tool.

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to maintain and track deadlines while also keeping track record or historical trends and data has been awesome! Prior to using Smartsheet. we were maintaining deadlines on Outlook and it was not nearly as effective. We find ourselves ahead of the game but utilizing Smartsheet.

Intuitive excel-style feel, as it's fairly natural for users to have had experience working in row/column formats like google sheets or excel

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

Automations are occasionally tricky to set up, or buggy - we have occasional trouble sending automation check boxes to move rows to new sheets, and sometimes they don't send properly and we'll move the rows manually

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Order tracking - we move orders through a 9ish step process, and that is how we track from inquiry to production to final shipment of product.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

I love how easy it is to get information from one place to another in Smartsheet, especially using formulas. I also love how straightforward and simple it is to create forms that our team in the field can use, and then how easy it is to manipulate that information into something our admin team can use to make decisions using LEAN principles or find results. I really appreciate how simple it was to link Smartsheet with other tools like Opsgenie and a Weather app through Zapier. I regularly recommend Smartsheet because I feel like it can solve anything! I also love how robust the Community is for offering and receiving help, it is an incredible resource!

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

I really wish the API access was more robust, especially for forms and reports, and I wish the dashboards charts had a little more power and customizable features. I would love to be able to copy a form, change the default value in a single field, then save the result as a new form - and then get URL! A way to get the URL for a new form via API would be amazing.

I use Smartsheet for digitizing paper records, making results transparent, and streamlining team tracking. It helps consolidate team resources effectively.

I use Smartsheet for organizing projects, keeping conference information accurate, and sending alerts to my teams about important changes. I love that you can set alerts for specific people to be notified about updates and changes, which I find very helpful. Smartsheet helps me keep projects flowing because of how organized it is, and I can set up sheets for issues that arise between team meetings, allowing users to prioritize alerts and respond accordingly.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

I do not believe it is very user friendly when you first start using it. It took a while for me to really learn the functions. I believe maybe having a guide or demo would be helpful for the most common functions. I was completely lost when I started using the software initially.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

It operates like a cleaner version of Microsoft Excel, with a User Interface that is easier to operate.  My standard use is to create forms for customer responses tied back to a results worksheet. I find it simple to integrate it back to my standard workflow and CRM software for better results tracking.  I've noticed that as a web platform, it performs more reliably than MS Excel.   I'm a user, not an admin or DM, and am unsure of where pricing lines up against MS 365, but the ROI seems to be good as we're maintaining our licenses currently.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

As our org is tied into MS 365, there are some feature redundancies that lead to delays in production as I'm deciding which platform to produce my work in.

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smartsheet allows me to build, integrate, and distribute feedback forms and engagement tools easily.  The data recorded is easy to use and allows me to glean insights from daily interactions.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

It helps enormously in global setup. The possibility of connecting to various teams on one setup with defined milestones help easy progress monitoring. Card views are helpful. Structure near to Excel helps easy learning. WE are trying to integrate Smarsheet with our clients dashboard but are not successful yet. Good in terms of performance, but linking i have realised does take time. Initially it was better in terms of pricing and with limited licencing many people were able to collaborate and licenses were only needed by few who need to work on template but now its pricy. I ahve not used support so cannot comment. I dont see AI is helpful in Smarsgeet

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

We cant paste real time screen shots if we need some fast conversations on issues. We don't have emojis sort of structure so that we get indications that info have been received. Dependency is good options but sometimes it messes with the manual data change. Few tasks are above in milestones but are not dependent. I see that Smartsheet have rigid structure in this regards. Linking a cell is too manual , we really need to scroll manually if we want to connect a project which is down in a sheet. We need to mark @ to all memebers of team to convey info, its not received automatically by all team members.

Helping to manage our global project as we need to collaborate with various team across globe. Helps to create report faster to update higher management.

I like Smartsheet because it's a very professional tool. It merges planning, data management, and Excel sheets options all in one, making it very easy to use. In my company, I use it to upload documents, and it's very efficient. I totally like how it gathers all the details, documents, sheets, and work platforms all in one place, making it a very good tool to use. Especially their work platform is something I appreciate. I also find the integration with Excel very useful, allowing me to upload and download Excel sheets easily. The setup of Smartsheet was very easy and convenient for my team.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

Sometimes, it's taking a long time to load the page and gives me some indication or letters that we are experiencing some issues with Smartsheet right now. I really don't like this, especially in critical moments, like when you have a meeting, and you want to open something and share something, and suddenly Smartsheet is experiencing issues. Sometimes I think the servers need to be faster and maybe the capacity needs to be higher than what it is because many people are using Smartsheet and relying on it.

I like the ability to have attachments on rows, as it is such a neat way to keep things extremely organized. I also find that Smartsheet allows for collaborative work in real-time, ensuring we are all on the same page and not doing double the work. Additionally, it stores data in a centralized location, which is incredibly useful. The initial setup was very easy, and onboarding new people is simple thanks to Smartsheet University.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

I wish there were more templates. I feel like a lot of the options are super specific or complicated. Like we are looking for a better solution for managing our vendors, and the options in the template library are too detailed and complicated for our needs.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

Smartsheet enables projects to be run using different methods to suit delivery and/or project managers.  Providing the sheets are set up with certain mandated criteria you are able to report across all projects with a like for like comparison.  

Dashboards are extremely useful when reporting up to executive team members and can be designed with their requirements in mind.

Workflow is extremely useful to prompt items for delivery of the project and capturing updates from a disperse workforce without the need for meetings.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

I don't find the resource management tool effective enough for reporting on resources across projects.  Unlike other project tools it doesn't smooth resource time across a project and has to be input via each task and for the company I work for that is far too detailed to uptake.

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problems that Smartsheet have solved is having the visibility of projects and progress.  This has been a huge benefit for decision making and understanding of how much work is going on across the company.  Prior to Smartsheet this was all done by word of mouth.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

Smartsheets is somewhat like a glorified excel doc but better. One of my favorite things when collaborating on a sheet together you can see who the author of that individual cell is, so if there is incorrect info or somthing wrong it can be addressed immediately

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

When copying a sheet for a page template there is no way to remove attachments from the copy. So you would need to go and individually remove each attachment which becomes tedious.

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smartsheet is an all-in-one management software, so it helps anyone become more efficient in their work. We can keep track of costs, estimates, schedules and more all with staying in the same software. Not to many can boast to that.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

I am an event executive and I have to log confirmed speakers for events. I find Smartsheet a really useful and easy tool to upload speaker headshots and bios in one place. I also like the fact I can just drop the files straight from emails into Smartsheet. Adding notes for my colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

I wish it was more colorful like Asana. Sometimes I still have to save ...and wait for the save icon to appear. If might be my home wifi lagging though.

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have only been in my role for 3 months and have not had many issues yet. It seems to be working as my colleague works in France so good we can work on the same sheet.

I like that we can use it across the company with multiple users working at the same time, and that it lets us create forms and track them.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

To start with, the licensing model can be a bit confusing until you get the hang of it. Also, the admin controls are difficult to locate and navigate within the user interface.

Tracking our work and staying on top of activities and timelines has been a huge advantage for our operations.

The biggest benefit to using smartsheet is the ability to track projects, tasks and deadlines in real time.  It provides the for better teamwork and collaboration

There is definitely a learning curve. In the beginning I needed additional training. It is not really user friendly.

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smartsheet is solving challenges around visibility, accountability, and process management. Instead of tracking work across multiple spreadsheets, emails, and documents, it provides a centralized location where projects, tasks, deadlines, and updates can be managed in real time. It is a great tool because all of the information is updated and reflected in one document.

It's almost the same as excel. so you know it quick, easy to approach and to handle with, we use the adresses and order section a lot and get all the adresses from the order sent to DHL

A disadvantage is that you can change real easy a field, or erase a field, that should be a litle more protected with a are you sure button

Orders from differtent customers who are coming is, also with adres, and specific order to print, we use it to communicate with our partner in the USA, and communicatie with DHL

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

The visualization, field management, formula tracking, cell dependencies, and how it can be added to compare global results. The onboarding of new projects, being able to replicate sheets is easy. I have not used the AI function or integration with other platforms although it has been suggested. I usually use it to update project times and budgets impacting the ROI of the projects, so I find it useful to see the change history in a cell and who accesses each value. Lately, I experience delays in loading large sheets.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

The delay of large sheets, updating when saved, or certain formats not being able to be previewed correctly.

The initial setup was pretty easy since the features are similar to Excel, and setting up the sheet didn't require much except a couple of tutorials on automations, which wasn't too bad.

There are some formatting features from Excel that could be more useful. Just a personal preference on how I want it to look. I can't think of anything specific right now, just like the way that you set up tables could be better.

SmartSheet does a really good job of what it was originally built for - creating project plans. It also does a great job of allowing you to create custom dashboards and reports to replace more traditional project management and reporting tools. We use it daily across 30+ Project Managers. It's very intuitive and easy to use.

Some of the connectors, including to Confluence require a lot of configuration and troubleshooting so we haven't started using it yet. I wish it was a little bit easier to implement.

It often describes Smartsheet as “Excel on steroids.” It is an invaluable tool for me as an accountant and project manager. What I like most is that it keeps the familiarity of a spreadsheet, but adds structure and visibility that make it much easier to manage real work in motion.

It helps me stay on top of moving parts without relying on constant check-ins or manual tracking. I can set up workflows so tasks don’t fall through the cracks, and updates are visible in real time, which reduces a lot of back-and-forth.

What I dislike is that it can feel a bit limited when I try to manipulate data the way I would in Excel. Some of the more flexible, quick-edit functions just aren’t as smooth or intuitive.

Unless you know how to create specific views using formula for example, or have excel experience it's quite hard to create the necessary views. Creating a dashboard from creating queries is complex and time consuming. I don't like that within the kanban view you can't click into an individual ticket and see it full page. It's hard to see a lot of info on the ticket and hard to see descriptions and comments at a quick glance. I would like to see more traceability and have the ability to create relationships between items, so that we can create views where we link initiatives to KPI's and requirements and even user stories. I believe a tool like Jira offers way more in terms of this type of functionality which I personally would benefit from. I don't  have any knowledge of integrations with smartsheet.

tracking projects is made easier  with smartsheet as we can collectively view and manage our in flight projects and backlog within teams, track projects using gantt charts and also manage the initiation of new projects using forms to allow  stakeholders to submit new project  requests.

I like the automations, the ability for many people to work in the same file at the same time, the cell history, and the conditional formatting.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

Some features are still missing. For example, I’d like the ability to create hierarchies or dependencies between columns—so if column A contains X, then column B can only contain 1, 2, or 3. I’d also like the option to define custom data types for a cell beyond the standard date/time/number formats. For instance, it would be useful to enforce a code format made up of 2 letters followed by 6 numbers, and require that it always matches that pattern. Finally, having the ability to use colored headers would be a great addition.

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me highlight errors in my data more easily, and it also lets me work more efficiently with the team that completes the data.

The initial setup was very easy; our team was shown once how to navigate it and nobody struggles to use it. I have not struggled while using Smartsheet.

I like using Smartsheet because it helps me manage my projects and stay abreast of my jobs more effectively. It provides a day-to-day guide on what tasks I should be focusing on, what the risk areas are, and what opportunities to consider. I appreciate how it disorganizes and organizes at the same time, by laying out all the critical dates, action items, and dependent and precedent events to appropriately track a full life cycle development. Smartsheet is my go-to tool first thing in the morning and the last thing at night, keeping me up-to-date with what needs my attention and what to watch out for. I'm also looking forward to more robust capabilities from Smartsheet, especially with the integration of AI. Lastly, the initial setup of Smartsheet was very easy.

**What do you like best about Smartsheet?**

I use Smartsheet for project management because it's easy to use and has great collaboration features, making project management fun. Adding attachments and comments on tasks is extremely useful, and being able to add formulas in the summary helps in calculating the number of tasks completed on time. Setting up Smartsheet was very easy and worked well out of the box.

**What do you dislike about Smartsheet?**

I would say the licensing and user section can be confusing. They recently did a change where they changed the names of the types of users and I get confused. I don't need every member to have a license because they aren't creating Smartsheets, just assigned tasks. We ran into some issues where we wanted to hide certain folders but would need to upgrade our account in order to do that.

**What problems is Smartsheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Smartsheet for project management. It solves collaborating issues with spreadsheets and serves as a source of truth for big initiatives. I like its easy use, collaboration features, attachments, comments capabilities, and helpful formulas for tracking task completion.
