Prior to purchasing Saleo, we were in a scenario where there was a huge discrepancy between the demo environment of new sellers and veterans. Veterans had fully built our demo environments where new sellers had nothing. We originally set out to find a solution that would bring the new sellers' demo accounts up to the levels of the veterans. In the best possible way though, Saleo gave us so much more. Veterans are even using Saleo thanks to its ability to keep data up to date. We are saving time and delivering demos with much better data and much better stories! The data ingestion piece is a massive time saver for us. Also the ability to customize using overlay and tokens to get us closer to a customer specific experience is exceptional! The demo creator piece is a lot to unpack but I suspect some of that has more to do with the complexity of our products than an opportunity for improvement on your end. The light sandbox doesn't seem to operate as advertised. We understood that it would be an "open playground" for participants to move around as they like, in any order, without any guardrails but it appears that we still have to identify areas and features to include, just like guided tours require. Features like text replacement across a tour, similar to Saleo Live, make it much easier to personalize content efficiently. I also appreciate the ability to combine captured pages and screenshot pages in the same tour, as well as the easier way to add new pages directly in the builder. On top of that, the refreshed UI feels cleaner and more modern, and the improvements across the editing panels make the whole experience smoother and faster. Without Saleo, I’d be spending half my day creating and customizing dummy demo data. Instead, I can now choose from a few different stories we built once, share them across the team, iterate on them over time, and use them to deliver custom demos. I've used Saleo for 3 years now and the performance has been perfect -- it is quick and never goes down. Their support/onboarding/consulting is top-notch, as well! The ability to add data with ease to customize a product/customer's story - and our implementation manager who has made things incredibly clear and enjoyable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Saleo? There's nothing that I specifically dislike. There are things that I wish were easier for our team, such as the hardcoding of data. I also wish there were ways for us to change some of the terminology. For example, it's confusing that you have to answer "no" to have a textbook turned on in the customized demo because that's how the product is set up. It would also be more helpful if we had a drop down of state standards rather than having to type them in due to potential user error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Not only is the product easy to use and flexible, but the team we work with at Saleo is incredible. They’re responsive and extremely knowledgeable. The AI support for updating tokens (we use Tokens heavily) is an amazing feature and a real time-saver, and it’s always on point. Overall, the tool is extremely robust, and we have yet to find something it can’t work with across our tools, including our Slack integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Saleo? The only pain point we’ve had is when our internal team makes updates to our product that end up conflicting with Saleo. When that happens, the Saleo team responds quickly and makes the necessary tweaks on their end to get things resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you? Speed to demo is a huge win for us with Saleo. What used to take days to build as a customized demo now takes just a couple of hours. And if we need to do a quick “Harbor Cruise demo,” where we used to show a generic brand, I can now put together a branded demo in just a few minutes, which adds a great personal touch.
