"Leading live data injection combined with outstanding customer experience."
What do you like best about Saleo?

We renewed yet again with Saleo for Saleo LIve and the customer success experience. Every solution in this space has clickthrough demos and/or data injection into a production environment. Saleo is the clear leader for the latter, and Saleo Live is crucial for us to tailor data across a huge platform at scale. Saleo live offers dozens of ways to solve the same problem, and that flexibility is incredible to have. All solutions in this space have their shortcomings as injecting data and tailoring at scale across hundreds of different softwares is a very hard challenge to solve. Saleo provides an outstanding customer success team that doesnt dance around any shortcomings, instead, they candidly address them, and they take on the work to ensure our needs are met. They are also very responsive to product feedback and I've very often see that feedback quickly come to life in their roadmap and actual product releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Saleo?

Saleo Capture has provided a ton of value for us, and we use it frequently. However, Saleo is still working to catch up to other companies in the market who were founded on clickthrough demo use case. None of the shortcomings are dealbreakers, but I'm very excited for many usability enhancements to come to Capture. The fact that we can take captures of our custom data injections we made with Saleo Live makes up for the shortcomings. Its also worth noting these competitive gaps with the clickthrough demo use case are very basic functionalities that I believe will be easily improved in the short term.

It's worth noting that for companies with analytical platforms and/or huge product suites: it takes a fair amount of work to get things stood up for Saleo live. It's tedious work that I wish could be automated somehow. Once the initial lift is done, it is very easy to maintain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Saleo?

What I value most about Saleo is that it truly delivers on the value they promise. The platform is unique in its positioning because it solves the biggest anxiety in sales: the unpredictability of a live environment. With Saleo, we can live demo with absolute confidence because we know exactly what data will appear on the platform.

It allows us to fully control the storytelling aspect of the sale. Instead of worrying about broken data or empty fields, we can tailor the narrative to showcase the specific value of our tool for each prospect. What do you dislike about Saleo?

There is genuinely very little to dislike about the solution. However, for new users, it is important to note that the onboarding and setup process can take longer than simple HTML overlay tools.

This is not necessarily a negative, but rather a necessary investment. Because Saleo creates a robust data structure, the initial setup requires time. The massive upside to this is that once set up, our SCs and SEs have complete control over the data. We can customize and manage our demo environments without ever needing to rely on or wait for our Engineering team. The upfront time investment grants us total independence and agility later on. What do you like best about Saleo?

Our software/webshops can be personalized for customers with just a few clicks, and even the user experience in tours feels truly real.The platform is user-friendly, and the Chrome extension is straightforward to set up and works seamlessly in Creation, Live, and Capture modes. Customer support is highly responsive, and the partnership with Saleo has been excellent. I appreciate how simple it is to create and enhance tours, as well as the option to link different tours together. What do you dislike about Saleo?

Since Saleo consistently delivers exactly what I need, I find it difficult to point out anything I dislike. With new features being released regularly, each one immediately accessible and centered on what truly matters, I am always eager to see what will be introduced next. I appreciate that Saleo offers flexibility and a variety of options for delivering demos in different ways, which is crucial for us as we handle a high volume of demo requests, both online and offline. The ability to customize demos that are not easily adjustable, particularly for products with multiple users or complex data sources, without altering the back-end systems is a significant advantage. Saleo allows us to modify data at the UI level, effectively sidestepping the usual conflict issues when multiple users are involved. This feature is invaluable as it ensures smooth operation and customization without interruption to end users. Masking captures to resonate to specific scenarios and demos is a big thing for our team so having more flexibility and more options in what we can mask and how would make Saleo the only tool we use for creating demos.
