What do you like best about Rosterfy?

I appreciate having everything in one place with Rosterfy, which simplifies managing HR, shifts, events, and communications. The system's ability to update information efficiently and integrate various functions is invaluable, saving us from using disconnected spreadsheets and multiple communication tools. What do you dislike about Rosterfy?

I find that the system is not intuitive at times, making it difficult to use without proper explanation. The terminology used within the system is confusing, especially terms like shift user and event shift user, which makes the process challenging. Additionally, performing simple tasks often requires clicking through many buttons, which slows down the workflow. Bulk updating people's shifts is tricky and integrating other necessary processes, like the virtual interview process, is not possible, which is limiting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rosterfy?

It's really helped us bring the volunteer journey together. Now our volunteers can see the progress of their applications, apply for other volunteer roles and sign up for shifts and volunteer events all in one place.

What do you dislike about Rosterfy?

I guess there are still some limitations or things that don't exist yet. We've had a couple of bugs with links in emails which were fixed, but a bit frustrating for our volunteers for a little while.

It does seem like new features are added frequently which is good and there is the option to submit your own feature requests.

While Rosterfy is a fantastic system, the onboarding process was quite long, which added significant pressure internally to get it up and running. As someone who does not come from an IT and systems background, I found the "Show you" and "Go Do" model to be less effective for us. What do you like best about Rosterfy?

Rosterfy is a rather versatile program which requires planning upon the initial set up. We did the set up very similarly to an accounting software. Beginning with the Chart of Accounts, you'd want to set up a naming convention for your events so that it can be easily be searched using either the prefix or * wild cards.

After that, it worked like a charm. The Rosterfy team is continually improving their software and we managed to fix a few rather large issues we had (the calendar mainly) after a software patch or two. Overall, it is simple enough to get the job done and stable enough to provide you with much needed information such as volunteer hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rosterfy?

Not sure if this is a user issue, but I can't seem to get the "reports" function for more complex reports (eg. number of shifts a volunteer has clocked in the year).

Sometimes seems a little too complex, however I am not a tech person so could be my naive expectations. Will leave to our tech team to repsond accordingly.
