**What do you like best about Pendula?**

We use Pendula as our primary communications tool for Sales and Marketing along with Customer Lifecycle. Introducing SMS into our tool kit has enabled us to improve ARPU and bundle rates, as well as winning back churned customers with dynamic, targeted flows.

With our custom solution that Pendula helped us build, we are able to trigger journeys based on behavioural and transactional data, automate replies, and hand off to our sales team in a structured, measurable way. Whether it’s a promo push, promo campaign or post-activation nudge, Pendula helps us execute quickly and scale comms without sacrificing personalisation.

**What do you dislike about Pendula?**

Occasionally, reporting visibility can be limited when comparing complex journeys across time or customer segments — especially when wanting to drill into link-level engagement or conversion trends. While standard reporting covers key metrics well, more flexible dashboards or integrations would help our teams self-serve deeper insights.

**What problems is Pendula solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pendula solves the challenge of delivering timely, personalised communications at scale without relying on dev or heavy manual processes. Before Pendula, sending SMS or building automated customer journeys required multiple tools and workarounds.

Now, we can launch, test and optimise flows across the full customer lifecycle, from onboarding to win-back, all from one platform. This has directly improved our speed to market, reduced churn, increased bundle attach rates, and enhanced the overall customer experience.

**What do you like best about Pendula?**

The best thing about Pendula is definetly their top notch customer service. Everytime we had a question or needed help our representative has been incredibely responsive and friendly. Although the Salesforce integration wasn’t straightforward, we had guidance through every step of the process. They made sure we were set up correctly and didn’t leave us hanging at any point, which made a potentially frustrating experience much more manageable.
Once everything was set up, Pendula proved to be a reliable and user-friendly platform. The messaging flows are straightforward, and they’ve made it much easier to keep our communications organized and consistent.

**What do you dislike about Pendula?**

While the Pendula is great overall, there are some areas for improvement. The integration with Salesforce, as mentioned, took some effort—it would be nice if that process could be smoother in the future.
Also, the messaging flows could use more advanced features, like a “loop” function to repeat certain actions. This would make automation much more powerful and flexible.

**What problems is Pendula solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a short term rental management company we have huge amount of automated messages we need to send to our guests on daily basis. It is really important that these automations work seamlessly to ensure our guests get information they need to check in or complete booking.

I wish that I could do a trial of the flow and I wish that it had a built in character counter.

Pendula solves the challenge of effectively targeting our client communications.  It allows us to segment our audience and tailor messaging for specific events and groups, ensuring the right message reaches the right people at the right time. **What do you like best about Pendula?**

As a systems administrator, I find Pendula’s seamless integration with Salesforce significantly enhances my ability to manage bulk messaging efficiently. The platform allows me to create flows similar to Salesforce reporting, which is incredibly useful. I can easily track the number of recipients and use flow triggers to schedule and activate various functionalities. These features streamline my operations and ensure consistent communication with both customers and staff. The user-friendly interface and robust automation capabilities make Pendula an indispensable tool in my daily workflow. I frequently use it as a System Administrator and train other usrers to use Pendula. I find Pendula’s seamless integration with Salesforce and user-friendly interface made the implementation process straightforward and well-supported. I have been in contact with Pendula various times to clarify some doubts and they have been really responsive and helpful rpoviding clear guidance whenever needed.

**What do you dislike about Pendula?**

One area for improvement is the ability to see the specific recipients of bulk messages. While I can check the number of recipients, it would be beneficial to have a feature that allows exporting a report of the recipients who will receive the message. This would help in identifying any discrepancies with Salesforce data and ensure more accurate communication

Pendula solves the problem of efficiently managing bulk messaging within Salesforce. It allows me to create and automate personalized communication flows, track recipient numbers, and schedule messages, which saves time and ensures consistent communication with both customers and staff. Pendula is easy to use, customisable and opens up endless possibilities for communications across the employee and customer life cycles. The team at Pendula is extremely helpful and is always exploring ways to enhance the product based on customer feedback.

There is an initial learning curve when first using the tool, however the Pendula team provide you with help each step of the way where required and there is an abundance of user guides and help options to guide you on correct use of the tool.

**What problems is Pendula solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pendula has allowed our business to think about all touchpoints in the customer and employee journies and how can we look to add value at each step. We are still working our way through all of the possibilities, but it has been helpful in getting us to think bigger and how we can add value across the lifecycle. The new email tool is excellent and new features are being added regularly which is really exciting to see.

Software/Platform is very reliable, but if something isn't quite right, you know you'll be backed and supported in a timely manner by quality people. Peace of mind is important.

The UI has some shortcomings, but suggestions for improvements are always taken seriously and we can see changes are being made to improve the usability of the product.

- Currently only available to send SMS in Australia
-  Limit to one mobile number per tenant (however I believe this is something they are roadmapping for the future)

Pendula has enabled us to be able to send out automated and personalised SMS campaigns based on customer behaviour and different stages through the customer journey, and sync the responses back in to our HubSpot CRM.

Their SMS Flow system is simply amazing: easy, highly customizable, and ready to connect to external platforms and CRMs. Support is always ready to jump into action quickly when we have any doubts. No issues with the app so far. 
Our Implementation Consultant, Josh  helped us on every step of our setup, taking the extra time to explain us every step, even so the app is quite simple to understand and configure.

Honestly, it's been great since day one. I can't raise any complaint.

The ease of creating flows via drag and drop functionality. Also the Pendula team flexibilty to make the tool work the way my business works (not working they way they need us too like some of their competitors).

There is nothing that has been a problem to date.

Allows our internal team to keep working on what we are good at, instead of trying to create our own version of Pendula that we will never master.

Pendula is simple to setup and integrate with Salesforce. Its simple and intuitive interface allows you to easy identify records and send out customised communications to your customers. You can easily setup conversation paths and push information from customers responses back to Salesforce.

There are some small aspects of the GUI that need fixing such as remembering your filters as you navigate pages

The way in which you can orchestrate a customer journey through the platform, calling in data from all manner of sources and systems, and manage multiple customer touch points with ease

There could be more done to really make the platform on-brand; so better theming or skinning of the product (but this is by no means a deal breaker)

Currently our customers can generate dynamic content, but deploying and utilising this content within a customer communication journey has to be done elsewhere. Pendula now affords us a powerful tool in which to further the relationships that we build with our customers, as we can go further with them in their activities

All users have a same mobile number which is difficult to track 1:1 SMS responses

We run hundreds events every month, Pendula is helping us to send SMS and email reminders to attendees  which is triggered xx hours before the event start automatically
We are also using Pendula to receive response and by using the keywords, the system can update attendees' attendance status automatically
Some irregular/regular communications can be sent or scheduled on demand as well

It was very easy to implement  the solution  for our company. There was no need to look for tech specialists. It is also good to give our clients the full attention of a real human being over a chatbot

It has been a struggle to manage break times  when the team is off to lunch. We are trying to figure out the best way around this but so far it has been really unmanageable

I like the applications flexibility. It can do multiple things at the same time. And all of this is customisable. We can design a lot of workflows and messaging systems as per our requirements

The application has a too many of options to work with. At times this acts as a downside to the application. Also the application enhancements, i do not see one too many enhancements being applied to this

I worked for a small amount of time with this application where we would configure our messaging. Upside to this would be the customer would have our availability at all times.

The user interface was very simple and required very little training. The company has simplified the process.

The cost is an added expense. It's a great tool when used efficiently.

I believe the program is better suited for companies with client numbers in the thousands.

The amount of time I'm saving by simplifying universally sent messages is worth the pricing my itself!

**What do you like best about Pendula?**

The product's journey builder is very easy to use, and very comprehensive. We found the companies customer care and enablement outstanding. As a salesforce user, we found that Pendula took the time to understand our set-up, along with our business, and was, therefore, able to provide us with meaningful advice on campaigns that did lead t very meaningful results.

**What do you dislike about Pendula?**

Some of the list pages are annoying. Having said that, the team have been very responsive and continuously improving those pages. I am clutching at straws here.  Most problem areas and there are not many, are improved promptly.

**Recommendations to others considering Pendula:**

Take the time to get your SalesForce data sorted. Getting clarity around lead, contact, account and campaign member for segmentation and journey purposes is critical.

**What problems is Pendula solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our circumstance is that we have an extensive list of names and we have had little to no engagement with them. We were able to reach these people and offer a non-threatening path to reactivating them as customers. This additionally opened up an extra communications channel with our clients. We learned that there is a segment that preferred SMS as a means of communicating with us.

The automated configuration system allows beginner coders to implement messaging systems.

Really nothing I can comment on that I don't like at this time.

The database is extremely easy so I can access any conversation or administrative needs (records/billing/etc.)

The upside for pendula is that it has many interfaces for customer engagement on both ends

The downside of pendula is the slow growth it has to compete against other CRM apps out in the market
