You can track issues (when it was detected, who found it, how it was found, what where the steps to replicate the issue) add the solution ( what did you did, you can documentation, screenshots) , assign the problem to the corresponding person, can run tests for your business cases, everything gets document for an easy access. I like the part if a person has the same issue as a previous user, that person can go to the previous incident and check how it was solved Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the search option is not always available, depending where are you navigating in Panaya. the layout of Panaya changes according where are you (steps for validation, check errors) and this is a bit annoying in case you're working in several projects at the same time, because you have to click in several links to go back where you needed to be. For some users in the part what they need to add how they found the issue, sometimes they do not document that information correctly or the documentation is poorly written. Panaya analysis is the best when it comes to EBS Upgrades from 11i or R12.1 to R12.2. It gives a clear overview of the list of objects, which line of the code to be changed, grouped by objects. I also like the testing feature and patch analysis and impact report that panaya can generate.
Panaya support team response is also very good. they are very prompt and quick to respond to any ticket that's created for help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If they can come up with a multiple environments view instead of overwriting the results, it would be very great.
Currently, I think I can only view the corrections from the latest upload. But, if the analysis for the R12.2 upgrade can be viewed by Instance and maintains a separate repository for each instance, it will be helpful for different teams to work in parallel on different instances/environments. The easy way to create the scenarios, users know how to do without help from Panaya administrators. friendly when running the scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When extracting reports from Panaya and the scenario is not ran directly in Panaya we have to do the extract handly and sometimes is not easy to do it whean we have limited time to promote the migration Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Awesome features: screenshot capture, reports & dashboards, testing scenarios reusing, and defects & user requirements tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Due to the exchange rate between US$ and Brazilian Real (BRL) + importation taxes (35%) the price of the Panaya tool in Brazil is almost unaffordable for most of the companies/projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The risk analysis feature is a very powerful and useful tool to mitigate breaking any existing functionality in our heavily customised enterprise setup.
I've only had to contact support to set up Single Sign On as we've had 100% availability and they were great. Our Success Manager has kept us up-to-date with the latest and greatest features and ensures we've getting the most out of the tool. #
They really do listen to your feedback and suggestions to improve the service too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hard question, there's actually nothing that I specifically dislike about Panaya Foresight for Salesforce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its interface turns out to have all the necessary elements to make my user experience the most pleasant during its use, the fact that it allows us to do collaborative work is very useful to carry out multiple tasks allusive to the projects we carry out in the company together with my co-workers and the other department coordinators who are also involved in our project (finance, commercial management, business management ...), the customer service team is very efficient when it comes to solving any Doubt or concern that may arise during the use of this software quite quickly, so we should not wait so long with the answer to the solution of a problem that stagnates or hinders in one way or another the development of the project. The fact that it does not have the functionalities to generate gantt charts automatically seems to me quite disappointing, since within our company we use these charts to determine the level of progress of our projects in a much easier way, the The fact that I cannot keep track of the finances and the budget assigned to the project through this same interface is also somewhat impractical since I have to handle all this through other platforms. The tracking workflow in which we receive emails letting us know when a test is released for execution is amazing. It is also one of my favorites that we could take graphic reports with the overall progress during the test execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) I just think Panaya could be more dinamic for mass edition and offer more APIs easy to connect with PowerBI and others.
2) It is also not possible to link 1 single defect to mutiple tests within the same Test cycle, which complicates to evaluates the overall impact of a defect for the entire test cycle.
3) I would also recommend to release an option in which the system propose a test execution timeline in S-curve type when you input all the test lines, start date and end date.
4) I would also include an action button to make easier to revert back the "actual results" of a test that was put to retest incorrectly, since it is something relatively common to make wrongly by selecting "retest all". It would required the user to re-type all of the acual results again causing waste of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Panaya allows the user to keep track with an easy to follow display and navigation of open items such as defects and test scenarios. Also, allows to keep a detailed track of the project status, stoppers, delays and performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Panaya has such a huge amount of user possibilities and options for tracking and requirements that for small projects its sometimes "too much" to fill up de BPLs templates or fully understand the system to maximize performance without proper training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Payana helps us to make our process more agile. As a key user, I save time testing with Panaya because I don't need to save evidence and write a document, this process is automatic in Panaya. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my case, I cannot continue the test run if I need to update a file in SAP, for example, and I need to run it manually. So I suggest to increase this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The defect workflow. It's simple, no complications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very difficult to include attachments. I would like Panaya to have something similar to Jira where I can just paste images in comments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
