# How to you track defects the most efficiently ?

How to ensure that people don't raise the same defect multiple times??

Panaya has a unique mechanism that automatically and proactively detects the potential influence of defects to other tests. 
The test manager can easily take an action and decide whether to block future tests from execution until the resolution, or to display a message to the tester to avoid logging duplicate defects. 

In addition, it's always possible to define an influence manually and link existing defects to other tests preventing the defect inflation.
