## N-able Take Control Reviews
  ### 1. Great remote assistance package to pair with RMM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin Y. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

What I find most useful about N-able Take Control is how easy it is to add an endpoint for remote assistance. You can generate a short link or a code for the end user, who can either click the link or enter the code on the remote control site. This process downloads the support agent for them to install, allowing the technician to quickly connect and provide help, and it is very frequently used for clients who do not have RMM installed on their endpoints. It is also seamlessly integrated with N-Able RMM which makes it a breeze to use. I've not had to use customer support for this due to the simple nature of the product.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

My least favorite aspect of N-able Take Control is the installation process for the agent. It is more complicated than just clicking an install button, as the user has to go through several windows and prompts, which can be challenging, especially for someone who is already stressed. Additionally, the software does not automatically remove or uninstall itself once the session ends.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-able Take Control addresses the need for quick and straightforward remote access to endpoints, usually PCs, regardless of whether the user is on RMM or not.

  ### 2. Take Control - Great Remote Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul B. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

I like several things about Take Control. I like the ability to reboot without the screen sharing fully rendering. I like the admin command prompt that I can access (this might be "best"). I like the ability to easily transfer files.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

My biggest problem was it going offline randomly. It would be working on a computer and then stop working. Sometimes it would come back on in a few minutes or hours. Sometimes it would require rebooting or running a repair script. This was a constant headache until first quarter of 2025 when an update resolved most of these issues (I cannot recall it happening since then). Currently I am not experiencing any major problems.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to see exactly what my clients are seeing. Sometimes clients will use words that mean different things to IT people (as all IT people know), and so being able to see the same screen they see helps solve problems faster.

  ### 3. Good onboarding. Terrible continued support.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

Take Control is easy to use and is packed with features. It has everything you would need in a remote control software (and a little more).

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

The UI is atrocious, the implementation method is overly complex. Customer support is absolutely terrible. Been with N-able for less than 6 months on a 1-year contract. Support has been terrible and the product line is stuck in the stone ages. I've been 1 month on now with zero ability to support clients through the mobile app, verifiable and reproducible bug with text input. I asked to have some consideration for cancellation because the product literally does not work for me as they sold it. They refused. They will never get a professional recommendation moving forward.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's not solving any problems for me right now. It's creating headaches.

  ### 4. Easy setup and great features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John Keanu M. | Sales Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

Take control is a great tool for technicians. It has comprehensive features that actually helps with troubleshooting. I am still amazed by the background remote access wherein you can do troubleshooting without disrupting the work of the target device. It is a hassle to chat them, wait for reply, and then do troubleshooting with them staring at their screen and waiting for you to finish. It provides efficiency for the target user and the technician. It's also easy to set up. Just provide the link to download the applet to the customer and in one click, you're in. There's no need to any codes or multi factor etc. Since it can be integrated with the RMM solution, it provides you with the whole picture since you have the information coming from the RMM as well.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

It is smooth when it comes to Windows devices. Mac devices sometimes lag. But what I wish is to have an Applet for Linux for easier set up.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of troubleshooting. When a customer requests a support, the time Take Control takes to set up is really fast. This makes troubleshooting a lot smoother.

  ### 5. Efficient and reliable remote support tool for seamless troubleshooting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Óscar M. | Cloud Sales Specialist☁️, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2025

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

What I like best about N-able Take Control is its fast and reliable remote access, which allows us to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly. The user-friendly interface and seamless connection make it easy to support clients without interruptions.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

One downside of N-able Take Control is that the performance can occasionally be slower with larger files or high-resolution screens. Additionally, some advanced features could be more customizable to better suit specific needs.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-able Take Control solves the problem of providing quick, remote support to clients, regardless of their location. It helps troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, improving response times and reducing downtime for clients, which ultimately enhances overall service quality.

  ### 6. Take control allows us to assist the user experiencing an issue so efficiently, and professionally.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle D. | Support Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

It is very easy to utilize.
It is quick, it has multiple functions that assists us in resolving the issue, like the quick commands etc.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

Just sometimes, the background of the pc connected to turns black, no issues on take control other than that minor thing.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to connect remotely and multitask with other tasks we might have to do.
I can connect to multiple users and assist them all at once.

  ### 7. Great product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

the ability to install on endpoints and also to do an ad-hoc remote support for a potential client.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

would like to be able to rebrand the product and url used for remote support

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

allows unatended remote support for my current client machines but also allows us to offer ad-hoc support to devices that do not fall under our current managed service provider contract.

  ### 8. Take Control the remote access software for my business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

Ease of use and cetnral dashboard for all my customers.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

agents are sometimes slow to update to the newest verstion.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Take Control is a cost effective way for me to manage my customer's computers. It allows me to give my customers access to their own computers.

  ### 9. Quick and Agile, Remote Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin A. | Head of Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

Take Control is easy to use, and integrates well into both Windows and Mac via the Installer. Launching a session to a remote PC, Laptop or Server couldnt be easier and all this is without a direct VPN or remote access connection into the remote lcoation. With added value of a file transfer utility, there isnt much that Take Control can't achieve for you.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

There aren't many specific downsides of Take Control, although I have experiencing some laggy sessions and instability on occassion, thats few nand far between.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past the default stance for remote support was establish a VPN and then launch a remote session to the 3rd party device; RDP, etc. Managing multiple VPN Clients on a Suport Desk mahcine can be challenginign and problematic and Take Control removes the need for that. The remote mahcine has an Agent which feeds data back to Solarwinds. Via this sesssion we can initiate a secure and encrypted Take Control session all without the need for VPN at either end of the connection. This limits the involvement of the customer or 3rd party as well as removing the excessive VPN client installers from Support Desk mahcines. All this drives efficiency as well as improving the Support given.

  ### 10. Easy to use and directly integrated into N-able RMM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan C. | Managing Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

It's part of the N-able RMM package - fully accessible right from within the portal for each machine in your inventory that you enable it for. For daily use it's a simple, yet full functioning piece of the puzzle that not only affords unattended access to the desktops of machines, but also background access to perform file transfers, registry edits or give Power Shell commands.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

Its switching between multiple displays on the remote end is slow and clunky. It also doesn't seem as stable in its connection quality as other more mainstream remote control applications I've used.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N-able Take Control affords easy unattended access to remote machines for support purposes. This makes "invisible" support seamless for our clients, and easy for techs.

  ### 11. Excellent service for small businesses at a competitive price

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** RAVI K. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2023

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

Take Control is an excellent illustration of how effectively the software works with both PC and Mac, in contrast to certain other programmes that have problems on both platforms. The console is portable and comes with a USB loaded version for ease of use. Because the subscription fee is for each technician rather than per node, a small team can be quite flexible at the fixed monthly prices.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

Rebranding is not possible. Take Control does not have the same rebranding strategy as the majority of our other platforms and service offerings.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Take Control grants you additional powers in addition to the ability to remotely take control of a managed machine's console. You can take control of the console, run commands in the background, access the registry, and work with the file system.

  ### 12. This makes it easy to remotely control a system in the network. VERY useful to have.

Honestly, I can't think of anything I dislike about it... It's a tool that assists me in doing my job.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me remote into systems when I need to get into them.

Very reliable. Rarely do we have issues with an agent not responding and when they are, they are usually easily fixed.

It is a bit of a recourse hog. On older, slower devices, it really bogs down the machine.

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

I have been using Take Control since switching from Logmein and aside from the deep price savings, I am very pleased with the ease of use and the continued product improvement. Also, having 500 devices included in base price is a real plus. The product has many features and is definitely worth a look.

**Reviewed by:** Mike D. | owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

The integration with NCentral works. IT supports 2FA.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

It's cumbersome setting up new users to give them access to control their computer for work from home situations. The multi monitor support doesn't work well. It takes a long time to connect. The cursor does not change when you're trying to run CAD software remotely. Printing through take control only works some of the time.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm only using it because it's included with NCentral. I'm still paying for licenses of screen connect for my techs because it works that much better.

Remote control, file transfers, password reset of local accounts, remote helpdesk support

  ### 32. Solid Remote Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew D. | Information Technology And Services Professional, Computer Networking, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2020

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

We have been using solarwinds take control for years. Its strongest suits are staying connected even on slow internet connections and having a good set of tools while connected. My favorite tools are changing client resolution, keystroke forwarding, changing to RDP connection, and file transferring. when paired with the solarwinds dashboard and Agent, Take Control acts like a background tool that pops up when you need it. It installs quickly on new devices and has been the most reliable remote software we have ever used.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

There are some features that would greatly improve the overall usefulness. Wake on Lan and better Monitor switching. There are many times in the daily workflow where a clients PC falls asleep after hours and there is no one on-site to wake it up or power it back on. I wish solar winds could integrate their WOL software directly into the dashboard, even if it automatically uses another pc on the network.
I would also like to see improvements in multi-monitor viewing. As it stands all we get is a small window to manually click between. I wish there was an option to put the monitors into separable windows and place them on my own dual monitor setup, Or move them to two smaller windows on the same screen.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remotely supporting clients helps save on response time and cuts on travel expenses.

  ### 33. Finally found an 'easy-to-use' solution for remote control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael K. | Sound Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2021

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

The portal is very intuitive and easy to setup & maintain

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

I would like to have additional customization of the client portion and web portal

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have eliminated the need to have three + tools in order to support clients that require remote control assistance. This product has been loaded up with the necessary tools to provide remote assistance... plus the ability to add my favorite tools to the platform

  ### 34. A great experience for both technicians and end users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2020

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

Installation is perfect for the end users. Very simple setup and seamless integration! All the controls that you expect like file transfer, terminal window, WOL, multi-display compatibility, etc.. Solarwinds definitely makes the best service that we've utilized on Mac devices. There's nothing that compares to how easy it is for them to install.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

We've had some recent issues during Windows updates that may require a user restart their computer to get the Take Control service running, again. The online portal is goofy and it would be great if it looked like the console, which is far more functional.

**Recommendations to others considering N-able Take Control:**

Look at Take Control for software that feels like it's designed for big business, but is priced and available to the little guys. You will not be disappointed by the features and service.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use Solarwinds as our backup to our RMM solution remote connections. It's a perfectly priced addition to our RMM costs. We love that the pricing is based on technician count and not unit endpoints.

  ### 35. TakeControl - Take it Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Billy C. | Director Of Information Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2020

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

Ease of use and how easy it is to work with a customer

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

I think the file transfer is a bit antiquated and could be better

**Recommendations to others considering N-able Take Control:**

When working with N-Central, this product works hand and hand.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to remotely troubleshoot our client computers.

  ### 36. Solarwinds Take Control Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert G. | Managed Services Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

Take Control is a very good remote control (RAT) tool for all basic and advanced remote support and control of endpoints. Has both on demand and unattended sessions via code, link or calling card, as well as and end user feature that allows customers to have the benefit of a lighter Take Control session. Great product. Very happy with it.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

One catch that I have found is that if you do not setup each session as an unattended session, if the PC restarts you will lose your remote access and have to re-initiate a remote session again. On Demand sessions do not have the ability to start as a service, and therefore only run once the user profile has been loaded.

**Recommendations to others considering N-able Take Control:**

Whether you use other Solarwinds products or not, Take Control and Take control Plus are excellent remote access tools that provide a full feature set for remote control and access of workstations and servers.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Take Control is out primary tool for remote support of our customers and has reduced our annual cost for this type of tool by 1/3 over the previous tool we were using. Also integrates very nicely with our Solarwinds N-Central

  ### 37. Best solution for remote ticket solving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashraf Ali S. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2020

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

Detailed dashboards and easy to configure workflows process.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

Limited integration with other software.

**Recommendations to others considering N-able Take Control:**

SolarWinds is the betting option then most industry competitors.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better SLA mgmt and incident handling.

  ### 38. Great Remote Control Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James B. | Network Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

We use Take Control both as the stand alone version as well as the one integrated with NCentral. I am very happy with the product, as it works great to remotely manage our client devices. It is cross platform and provides additional functionality like command line, registry editor, etc. beyond just the desktop interface. I use it on a daily basis and am a fan of the product.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

The only issue I’ve run into is on my Mac. It initially works fine. But if I leave a session running in the background for an extended period of time, it begins to spawn tons of child processes. As long as I close it when done, it’s fine, but if I forget about it, I might come back to dozens of additional windows.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it every day to remotely troubleshoot client problems, manage servers, etc. The stand alone version also works great for one time rescue sessions.

  ### 39. One of the best products I have used!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drake S. | Technical Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

It is very intuitive and easy to use. The system info page for each device you remote into is spectacular. The ability to generate the "calling cards" has opened up a new way for us to provide remote service to end users who do not want to purchase a contract.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

There is not a whole lot that I dislike about the software. The main thing I would like to see is that when you connect to a computer it goes right to the remote control page instead of the chat function.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This product has allowed us as a company to provide better more secure remote support to companies that are not currently under our management. Another benefit is that we no long have to send customers to an unbranded free remote connection software, which gives our end users more confidence in the service they are receiving.

  ### 40. Useful and quick

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitch C. | Help Desk Technician, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

I like how user friendly the interface is for take control. I also enjoy how simple it is to setup and to implement it on our clients computers.
It is also a very handy tool as I am able to remote into my clients computers with a laptop or a tablet using take control.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

The update process with take control is hit or miss. There will be one good update that fixes bugs, and then the next update will create new bugs that we have to work around.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of how to access our clients computers the most effectively. A huge benefit has been not having to work clients through on how to allow us to connect to their computer.

  ### 41. Good remote connection tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** chris m. | senior consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2019

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

Works with N-Central agent. Easy to use. Allows you to remote in and see the desktop, take control, correct issues. Also includes system shell, which allows you to run commands on the system.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

Sometimes takes a little longer to get the connection. Any network change requires a few minutes to recover.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this to remote in and assist clients having issues. Also a nice alternative to using VPN to connect to client servers. We had a client with a device that lost trust with the domain and couldn't log in. We used system shell to create a local admin, signed in with that and added it back to the domain within minutes.

  ### 42. Easy to use remote control software.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven R. | Steven Reid, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2019

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

It is easy for technicians to share remote connections or transfer sessions between users.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

No option to reboot a remote machine to safe mode.

**Recommendations to others considering N-able Take Control:**

If users are having difficulty setting up remote connections this is easier to set up than a lot of other products.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clients are finding it easier to set up a remote session. It doesn't have multiple pop-ups asking for permissions that can sometimes be hidden behind another window on a remote machine.

  ### 43. Easy to use, good feature updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan S. | Computer Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

The ease of use is very good. Anything that has been lacking has been usually updated/upgraded to make ease of use better along with other feature updates that are very useful.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

Biggest issue is not having automatic session recording. We recently had an issue where we needed to see what was done in a session by a former employee. Automatic session recording would have been huge in that instance.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enables our helpdesk to quickly and easily gain access to remote workstations to help resolve issues for our customers. Our customers have in turn responded with appreciation about the speediness of our remediation, partially due to Take Control.

  ### 44. Seems slow and not very intuitive

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2020

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

Managed endpoints and related network devices

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

System is slow to update and load, slow response to updating endpoint machine status

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

manage client endpoints

  ### 45. SolarWinds Take Control rocks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Terence L. | president, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

We have used a number of remote control products over the years. The think I like the best about Take Control is the ease of connecting - one click and you are on - no codes or passwords needed!

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

Probably the thing I dislike the most is that the screen quality isn't always the greatest - and sometimes it takes a while to connect.

**Recommendations to others considering N-able Take Control:**

BUY IT!

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Take Control to solve any number of customer issues. We don't have to disconnect/reconnect to reboot a customer's computer. Most importantly, it is quick and easy to connect

  ### 46. Great product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2019

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

We are using N-Central and while it allow us to remote connect to many devices, the agent need to be deployed first and many customer doesn`t have the administrative rights on their computer. This is where Take Control is really usefull. The ability to send a code the the customer and remote connect to their computer is really simple and all the built-in tools are handy

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

We are a french enterprise based in Montreal. We have found that the accent character as well as the french language is not really supported. We would also like to get an Automation Manager integration so we could easily deploy our current script library to the devices.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having the ability to remote connect to all devices event if our N-Central agent are not deployed.

  ### 47. Ease of Use Is Amazing

**Reviewed by:** Darian B. | Systems Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2019

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

The ease of use is amazing, I love being able to click a single button and without fuss remote into a clients workstation or server. As well the ability know if connections failed and why is super handy.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

The monitoring of the connection can be a bit better and information on where the connection is failing vs just the bar would be helpful.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need for immediate access to our clients workstation is important. Many of our legal clients expect a level of response which we can provide with take control.

  ### 48. So much easier than Screen Connect

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan M. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

we love the fact that we can access every protected client right from the RMM portal! It works almost flawlessly.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

I don't like the popup that happens (often) for multiple screens. I cannot figure out why the small screen 1 & 2 popup keeps showing in the upper right. That's the only annoying part

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to connect and begin repair of computers far faster than having to log into other product portals (despite the fact that we still have a couple others just in case)

I don't have any specific downsides to mention for Take Control. It is one of the most solid products I think SW has to offer.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great for managing clients that are geographically far away from our office.

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

The ability to quickly access a workstation, laptop or server quickly.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

**Recommendations to others considering N-able Take Control:**

Good product to use for quickly integrating a remote control solution inside of N-Central.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**
