  ### 17. The best remote support app I've ever used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henrique B. | Mr, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2018

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

What I find most useful in SolarWinds Take Control is the ability to save remote access and all our clients' computers, as well as the variety of possibilities the tool offers, such as file transfer, entering commands in the prompt directly through the console, monitoring processes, hardware, and services.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

The only problem I have found so far is that the software is a bit heavy when used on a more basic setup (compared to competitors), but this is not an obstacle if used on a computer with average configurations, especially because it demands more from the hardware as the tool has an enormous variety of functions.

**Recommendations to others considering N-able Take Control:**

If you are looking for a remote support tool, consider evaluating SolarWinds Take Control. Of the various tools I have tested, SolarWinds Take Control was definitely the best experience I have ever had using a remote support tool. Of course, there are slightly cheaper software options on the market (there are even free software options), but none compare to SolarWinds in terms of features, quality, and ease of use.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SolarWinds Take Control to support the software that the company sells and also to conduct training sessions that require remote access to a client's machine. For this type of work, SolarWinds is an excellent tool, incomparable to others on the market.

  ### 18. Simple and efficient

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martine V. | gerante, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

we like being able to connect to customers everywhere and anytime, Even if ours customers are not physically present in front of their computer.
We secure access to our customers' PCs by password, which makes the process reliable and secure

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

The solarwinds Take Control solution is too slow down on some pcs. Some times, il's really impossible to connect. Some old pcs do not support the tool that completely blocks the computer. It's impossible to work.

**Recommendations to others considering N-able Take Control:**

There's no special recommendations. Only, it must be verified that the computer will support the application. and the distant connexion To avoid on old pcs. You must also check that that firewalls do not block the connection.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer assistance for one of our softwares.
When our customers (healthcare professionals) have a problem with the software, we must intervene immediately to solve their problem.
Our customers are satisfied with the immediate assistance we can offer. Il's very important for them and of course for us.

  ### 19. Most powerful and resoureful remote access software for professional use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulo A. | Mr., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

It is the remote access software with more powerful functions that makes remote support fast, easy and secure to all our clients. We have used it for a few years and it has evolved quite a lot and it is now the only software we can trust and recommend for remote access.

**Reviewed by:** Matthew B. | Mr, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2018

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

I like the ability to access the console on any device with ease, Take control has been the best product by far. The fact that I get the options of file transfer, and the shell commands have proven to be very useful in unlocking user accounts when users lock them selves out or for when the server is unresponsive.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

I dislike the fact that there art many options for implementing into a website, I feel its very limited and basic, would like to implement the website support based on our current website template instead of the basic features.

**Recommendations to others considering N-able Take Control:**

I would highly recommend Take Control for your business, it has everything you need and more.

Option to use a live chat to speak to support is handy as you may have other customers on the line whilst facing issues.

**What do you like best about N-able Take Control?**

We are about to complete 5 years of using the tool with the best cost-benefit in the market, which we hired in 2014 for having the best features at the time and still do, I am enjoying the new updates. Uncomplicated device management and interaction with our customers, support and sales team always cordial and helpful. Good performance reports. Fast and efficient tool for remote access, even in places where the internet is not good.

**What do you dislike about N-able Take Control?**

Delay in the Development Department to return responses or implement features. I didn't like the applet for Android (I tried to use it at the beginning of the year, but it didn't work on my phone) so I ended up not implementing it. One of the messages I sent via the web platform was not returned, as soon as the new interface was introduced. The cost of the tool is still high.

**Recommendations to others considering N-able Take Control:**

It seems that the submitted opinions are not all read or responded to, because as soon as the new portal was made, I identified a problem on the screen, but no one got back to me.

**What problems is N-able Take Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We assist our clients with any problem or question regarding the Operating System and the Systems we sell. We use access reports and service qualification, in addition to viewing access videos.
