What I like best is how flexible it is without becoming complicated. The biggest drawback is that the pricing scales quickly. There is also a learning curve once boards get complex; the flexibility that makes it powerful means it's easy to build something messy if you don't plan the structure up front. Automation and integration limits on the lower tiers can be restrictive, and the mobile app doesn't offer the full experience of the desktop version. What I like most about monday is how easy it is to actually get work done in one place. The biggest issue for me is the number of small bugs I run into. The duplicate option doesn’t always work as expected, and the timer can be a bit frustrating. Sometimes I start the timer, but the time doesn’t show up unless I refresh the page. The same thing happens with updates from other people on the team, I sometimes have to refresh to see their changes. It’s not a huge issue, but when you’re working in real time, having to refresh the page again and again can get annoying. I’d really like to see the live updates and syncing work more reliably. Everything was fine until we had a subscription issue that required an actual person to resolve it.

Our company had two paid monday.com accounts, and I consolidated one into the other. Before doing so, I specifically confirmed with both their chatbot and a support representative that the unused subscription would be refunded. I was told the refund would be processed within 7–10 business days.

That was April 27, 2026. It is now September 15, 2026, and we still have not received the refund. Every few weeks I get another email apologizing and saying they are “working on it.”

Nearly five months to process a promised refund is unacceptable. The platform itself works well, but their ability to resolve billing issues when human intervention is actually required has been extremely disappointing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love most about the monday AI Work Platform is how seamlessly it fits into my daily workflow, rather than feeling like a separate tool I have to keep switching to. What I dislike most about the monday AI Work Platform is that its AI features are closely tied to the higher-tier pricing plans, which makes it costly for smaller teams or individual users to access the platform’s full potential. Also, when boards become heavily populated with complex automations and large volumes of data, the interface can sometimes lag or feel overly cluttered. The only issue I’ve experienced over the years was when we tried to store around 5,000 images on a single board. The platform didn’t crash, but we did notice some performance issues due to the large volume of images. Other than that, my overall experience has been very positive. Three areas I think could use improvement are the file upload and export functions, and the way board columns are assigned across groups. I realized too late that if I delete a column in one group, it deletes that same column in every other group on the board as well. I feel like I should be able to customize columns within each group without having to rely on the Filter to create separate group views. Also, I can never figure out how to use the Outlook add-in. I like that it’s already integrated with my Monday boards and workflows. It understands exactly what I’m referring to in my prompts, and it also works well for tasks outside the platform, such as sending reminder or follow-up emails through the Outlook integration. It doesn’t seem to have a central place where I can configure everything. I have one agent in one workspace and another agent in a different workspace, and as an admin I have to dig through the settings just to see which agents exist. Monday AI Work Platform helps us organize our collateral in documents, assign projects on boards, and maintain our own “main boards” that cover our daily, weekly, and monthly work. We also use the Monday Work Platform to provide our company with a monthly report on our business operations. The chat support and AI chatbot can quickly identify our issues, and we’re connected to an agent whenever we run into automation problems. We also integrate monday with Relay.app, and it runs smoothly. Some of the buttons in Monday feel overwhelming which makes the interface feel cluttered because of the buttons our business doesn't necessarily use.
