What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Microsoft SQL Server uses a core language, which is different from other database applications such as MySQL and Oracle. Companies that need programming or analysis services may find it more difficult to find a resource that hosts these services at a reasonable price. Programmers are also required to learn a different language and setup for the Microsoft SQL Server environment, so companies that want to upgrade need to teach current employees how to work with the application. "SQL makes it much easier"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

I like that SQL makes it much easier to pull up the reports I need for a customer or employee. For many of the queries I run on SQL, I had to run as many as 6 or 7 queries on our cyberquery program to get all the information I needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Sometimes, the join conditions when designing the query automatically link up with whatever SQL thinks the tables should be linked up by but is almost always wrong. We have to remove the connection and join with another part of the table. It isn't hard but just kind of annoying for very large tables we have set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
