What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

I like having the option of using the wizards/user interfaces in the database client as well as scripting database functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

One of the things I dislike about the MS SQL suite is that it doesn't play as well with Oracle solutions as I think it could. If I could build reports and scripts easier over db connection to an oracle back end, MS SQL suite would be my one-stop-shop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the great tools!"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

There are spreadsheets and then there are databases. SQL is king when it comes to creating a useful database. One can store millions and millions of rows of data and call them back with complex views and queries. Also, being able to do mass changes to selected records in the database is powerful, as well as being able to test your code using rollback first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

There is a steep learning curve when trying to get a grasp of sql statements, but it's worth it. Do yourself a favor and learn how to code in SQL and watch your back for that next promotion.Take lot of space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
