Cheap, easy, and integrated. It's pretty standard for a lot of applications as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Tool For SQL Database Management"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

I like the UI. It is easy to create tables, views, stored procedures and database diagrams. It serves well for visualization purposes. Query debugging is another feature I use a lot. Intellisense is also extremely helpful. SSMS also has an integrated web browser for browsing online help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft SQL Server: robust and reliable"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

MS SQL Server is always a good option for your production applications since it is a very reliable systems. I have been been using it for year with Microsoft Dynamics Nav and also some custom applications in the automotive industry, and we have never had any problem. In fact, we used the Port Mirroring feature in order to provide high availability and it always worked perfectly. In the last versions, you can provide high availability with the Always On feature, which is still better than Port Mirroring.

The maintenance wizard is very useful in order to define the necessary maintenance tasks for you database: backups, check statistics, index maintenance. Besides, Management Studio is a good interface to manage all your database instances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

One important disadvantage is the price. For small companies, the prices is too high, only big companies can afford to have MS SQL Server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
