"Proven solution for 5+ years"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

We have been using SQL Server for different projects since about 2010. Even though we are a small business, we still have a big need for an enterprise level DBMS. We have some business management systems and even our website using SQL Server Standard. I do like that SQL server is very easy to manage and there's a lot of tech information out there to fix any issues that come up. The updates are easy and I don't really have to worry much about reliability or speed because if those issues do come up, I get notified immediately if utilization is higher than it's supposed to be. What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Cost, I just wish that it was a little bit less expensive, especially when you're using multiple servers with the same product for redundancy only. I do wish that we could run SQL server on Linux but I know this is coming sometime in 2017, so that is good news. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cheap, easy, and integrated. It's pretty standard for a lot of applications as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having to use a 3rd party admin tool, or the interface itself. Support isn't as good as oracle, but hell of a lot cheaper Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
