"SQL Server for ever!!!"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Many years ago, when I was still a novice in the development world, I met SQL server, and it was love at first sight. I've never been disappointed, even in the worst scenarios, scenarios where other database managers have failed. SQL server comes hand in hand with Microsoft, which means it's not cheap, but if we're a small or freelance company, we can always move that cost to our end customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

As mentioned above, sql server is not cheap, let alone free, the installation license on server has an approximate value of 1000 USD per cal, ie if you need 5 cals of access to the server, the cost amounts to 5000 USD, Although it is very strange to have more than one or two access to the server, where this type of installation is the most convenient, since no matter how many cores have our hardware. If we want to contract for cores, to have unlimited number of accesses (the equivalent of cals) costs approximately 4000 USD per core. That is, if we have an octacore server, they are nothing more and nothing less than 32000 USD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
