"We use Microsoft SQL server for storing and fetching data between our application and database. "
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

The best feature about Microsoft SQL is that it follows all the ANSI standards and all RDBMS fundamentals including clustering and database administration. Also the maintenance cost of the database is comparatively low as compared to other RDBMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

I dislike the fact that there are few restrictions from storage aspect. Fetching the data from the bigger table takes some resources and time and also having an optimal plan in Microsoft SQL is tedious to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great relational database tool for everyone"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Many years ago, when I was still a novice in the development world, I met SQL server, and it was love at first sight. Microsoft SQL is a standard for applying the Structured Query Language to tabular databases, which makes life much easier when your database is massive. You can select the data that you want using clear syntax, and from there work more quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

SQL is not always the most powerful option out there. Having learned a bit of Python recently, I've discovered there are many operations that are clunky or impossible through SQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Have dealt with other db solutions over the last 3 decades, (dB3Plus anyone?) and not much to dislike about MSSQL. Every software environment, system, or platform has it's own set of quirks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Review on MS SQL Server Management Studio"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

This is the Perfect tool to quickly access the DBs, query the DB and perform quick modifications on the DB where the user has access to. This tool can also be used by semi-technical folks who are not so tech savvy but still have to query the DB with ready SQL queries for their regular data analysis tasks. As this is comparatively light and installation can be quiet faster, however there should be a remote DB available to get access to and for querying Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Its a good tool and there is not much to dislike. One might face little difficulty, if they are non-technical and do not have some ready SQL queries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
