"Everything Organized in One Place with Fast, Helpful Search"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I use Microsoft SharePoint at work where my company shares RPA training materials, project documents, and learning resources with team members. What I like most is that everything is organized in one place, making it easy to access files, collaborate, and stay updated with the latest resources. The search functionality also helps find documents quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft SharePoint: Centralized Collaboration with Powerful Microsoft 365 Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I like best about Microsoft SharePoint is its ability to centralize information and make collaboration seamless across teams. The platform is highly customizable, allowing us to create sites, libraries, and workflows that fit our specific business needs. Its integration with other Microsoft 365 tools, like Teams and Outlook, enhances productivity by keeping communication and document management connected. SharePoint’s document versioning, permissions controls, and search functionality make it easy to manage content securely and efficiently. Overall, it provides a robust, scalable solution for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and project management within our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

One thing I dislike about Microsoft SharePoint is that the interface can feel complex and unintuitive for new users, which sometimes requires extra training. Setting up sites, workflows, or customizations can be time-consuming, especially for teams without dedicated IT support. While the platform is very powerful, navigating permissions and managing content across multiple sites can occasionally be confusing. Additionally, performance can slow down when working with very large document libraries or complex workflows. Overall, these challenges are manageable, but they highlight that SharePoint requires planning and familiarity to use effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Document Management and Seamless Microsoft 365 Collaboration"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I like best about Microsoft SharePoint is its ability to centralize document management and improve team collaboration. It allows users to store, organize, and share files in one place while maintaining version control. Its integration with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem also makes it easy for teams to collaborate and access documents efficiently within their daily workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

One downside of Microsoft SharePoint is that its interface and navigation can sometimes feel complex, especially for new users who are not familiar with the platform. Setting up sites, permissions, and document libraries may require some technical knowledge, which can increase the learning curve. Additionally, while it integrates well with Microsoft 365, performance can occasionally be slower when handling large numbers of files or heavily customized sites. "Intuitive and Flexible for Cross-Division Sharing"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

SharePoint allows companies the flexibility of working between different divisions while sharing work with ease. The system is intuitive and can handle a lot of data at one time. The ROI of the system is invaluable as it has saved countless hours of meetings between technical groups looking for information which can be easily obtained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

SharePoint has limited support to begin with, in my experience it was learning on the job instead of being trained to use the system. Additionally there is currently, in the configuration I use, no AI system which could aid in the finding of certain files should you not know exactly what to search. "Powerful collaboration tool with a learning curve"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I like best is having one central place for all our documents and team collaboration. Everyone works off the same version of a file instead of emailing attachments back and forth, and the co-authoring means multiple people can edit at once without overwriting each other. The integration with the rest of Microsoft 365 is a big plus too. It links up with Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive seamlessly, so everything feels connected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Cluttered navigation makes finding files frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Page Creation and Always Up-to-Date Shared Resources"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

It is very easy to create new pages and content. I love that you can make it like your own resource website and share links that you know will be up to date with the most recent edits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Since there are so many options for layouts and customizing, sometimes it can be difficult to maintain consistency across the platform when you have multiple creators. I would like to see AI make stronger recommendations once you have content loaded on the page before it is published. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Teamwork and Organization, But Steep Learning Curve"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

As a developer working with Microsoft SharePoint, the best feature I use is the SharePoint Framework (SPFx). I use SPFx to build modern, responsive web parts and extensions with technologies like React and TypeScript. It allows me to create interactive solutions that integrate smoothly with Microsoft 365 services. I find it very useful because it supports client-side development, which improves performance and user experience. It also provides secure access to SharePoint data through APIs without complex backend coding. For me, SPFx makes development faster, more flexible, and more efficient. A part from it it allow me document management, integration with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive),Customization options Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

As a developer working with Microsoft SharePoint, there are a few things I do not like. Sometimes SharePoint feels complex, especially when I work with permissions and large site structures. Debugging issues in SharePoint Online is not always easy because I do not have full server access. I have also noticed that performance can become slow when dealing with large lists or heavy data. Customization is powerful, but sometimes it feels limited compared to building a fully custom web application. Also, frequent updates from Microsoft can require me to modify existing solutions.
