**What do you like best about Medius?**

I enjoy Medius for its robust user experience. It allows me to do a lot without needing any customization or configuration, which I find very flexible. The flexibility with dimensions is great, enabling a powerful workflow that makes each approval process accurate and detailed. I also appreciate the ability to set up individual cash value limits for groups or users, allowing the process to follow an approval matrix, which is something we needed.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

The setup of Medius was very difficult and took weeks, even months, which was longer than anticipated. The user experience feels a little dated and could be more updated. There are likely applications that are easier in terms of functionality.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Medius solves the basic problem of AP automation and offers tight integration with NetSuite, which was our goal.

  ### 2. Friendly Interface Makes Coding and Approving Invoices Effortless

**What do you like best about Medius?**

I can easily pull up archived invoices to check approval status, view a copy of the invoice, and more. The friendly interface makes it simple to code and approve invoices. The AI function to "use prior coding" is especially helpful for recurring invoices.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

When I try to search the invoice list for a specific vendor, it still displays all invoices, including voided and cancelled ones. This makes me spend extra time drilling into the invoices, only to eventually find out they’ve been voided.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Medius allows our company to process invoices relatively seamlessly by moving them through our approval hierarchy until they’re ready to be sent to AP for final processing.

**What do you like best about Medius?**

It has SSO and we can use it to get in easy and the new layout looks great and its easy to understand. Being able to have diffrent types of medius and having them being able to be able to be added by a group is fantasticly easy.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

Seems like it sometimes logges into the wrong program some times but not sure if its a medius issue or a office one, Make it so there is  a easy way to identify if its an error with an invoice and maybe have the contact information or somehow what you should do with that invoice somewhere?

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to see cashflow in the business nad how each part is performing.

**What do you like best about Medius?**

I find the phone app very accessible and user-friendly. Meal receipts are especially easy to capture, and other expenses are easy as well. Setup and use on my phone and PC were easy.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

The PC app, viewing receipts attached to expense lines is cumbersome and not effective. I would like to be able to view and zoom in on the receipts.

I use Medius for tracking expenses, limiting time periods for submittal, and ensuring receipts are valid. The phone app is user-friendly and makes capturing meal and other receipts easy.

**What do you like best about Medius?**

It offers solid automation that has reduced manual data entry. Also, because it comes with a pre-built ERP, it lowers our dependency on IT resources. For a global company, the currency conversion is seamless.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

It requires extensive training to understand the tool and use it effectively, especially since the UI is not beginner-friendly. It is more expensive, but in general the price is offset by the cards.

What I love most is how Medius automates tedious AP tasks with smart AI. Invoice approvals are effortless, supplier inquiries drop significantly, and you finally get clear spending visibility across everything.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

The initial setup takes some effort, especially integrating with existing systems. There's definitely a learning curve for teams new to automation, and the pricing might be steep for smaller organizations.

Since implementing Procurement, GoStudent has benefitted 
in numerous areas.
First, and perhaps most important, is cost control. The team can now see and approve each area of spend by category, cost center, and project. With better insight into monthly order amounts  and payment terms, they can  maintain complete financial records and more accurate re-forecasting and budgeting. In addition, common errors  have been reduced; the team is no longer issuing duplicate POs, using incorrect pricing, or exceeding budget. With a unified payment method, they access only approved suppliers, thereby saving time, labor and money

**What do you like best about Medius?**

How simple it is to use for invoices. It is very easy to process through and push to managers and it is easy for them to tag us in it if there are any issues. Very user friendly!

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

One thing I dislike is if I tag a manager in an invoice and it needs to go to another manager, they cannot click on the email link. We have to tag the new manager for them to open it up.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Medius is solving to be paperless for us. We used to have to print all invoices and hunt down all managers to get their approval. Very simplified now!

Medius has powerfule report function and customizable configuration which allows us to avhieve specific goal.

It takes time to capture invoices or run the workflow. if it will be done in a seconds, it would be great.

We need to process thouthands invoices every month and there are many deviation or missing of approval for processing. Medius eases our headach as it is helpful to manage those invoices in issues.

It is possible to integrate Medius very fast. And the AI is helping in the capture/verify step to recognize invoices quickly. The program is fast and has a fantastic support team when you experience problems.

They do not support prepayment invoices. I've understand that they are working on this so that would make Medius even better for us!

Mostly with the approval workflow. It is very useful that you can communicate with the approvers in the same screen and keep everything at one place.

The ease of use from end to end. Everything is straightforward to understand and review. Training someone new whether it be a user or approver takes minimal time.

kowing what all of the different categories mean in administration so you can customize business rules. There are a lot of options out there and sometimes can be overwhelming

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently working on recurring charges and implementing the recurring invoice platform. We are excited to see how far we can utilize this new functionality.

Smooth interface that is user friendly and easy for all members of the organization to navigate.

Reporting continues to be improved upon but has become easier to navigate in the past year.

**Recommendations to others considering Medius:**

Medius has been a great partner in finding efficiencies within our AP department and processes. I used to work for a company that did all AP approvals via paper/stamps/signatures and it was a nightmare trying to gather approvals and find documents when requested. Coming to a company that uses Medius has been blessing. Medius takes all the worries of a papered AP environment and crunches it into an easy to use digital program.  They continuously reach out to perform an analysis of things that may be causing issues or could be done more efficiently. Their software also continues to add additional features such as payment processing and improved reporting. I would highly recommend Medius to any companies looking to streamline and digitize their AP functions. We have been very happy with our experience with Medius and look forward to how they can assist us in streamlining and building out other areas related to AP as well.

**What do you like best about Medius?**

Medius has cut down our AP processing time by at least 50% if not more.  We went from a completely manual process in which was lost many invoices and lots of time processing.  I was able to move on to other tasks instead.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

Sometimes, the goods receipts don't automatically push to Medius, so I have to either invalidate and refresh it or send a support ticket in.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that Medius solves is use of time.  It's a huge benefit to me and my company to get time back to do other tasks or projects.  We also do not lose invoices like we did in the past.

I like that Medius is simple and user freindly. It has a modern look and easy for users to navigate

I wish the administration side of Medius was more straightforward and it was easier to customize certain features.

Having a paperless invoice system was the primary drive on utiltizing the software. It is extremely beneficial to have our history saved at our fingertips and elimate e-mail traffic and paper trails.

**What do you like best about Medius?**

Continuous upgrades with detailed release notes based on user feedback. Implementation support was very thorough and ongoing. They worked through our business requirements and allowed us to use functions like 'Document Approval' in a way that suits our business without having to make any customizations. Being a mobile-first solution has significantly increased response time by non-finance users.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

Some setup can be a bit hidden which makes it difficult to figure out without support. System becomes slower when the document size exceeds several pages. Document approval workflow not yet available on mobile.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing response time from budget owners on the road as it is very user-friendly on mobile and with functions like in-email approval. Powerful report writing without users requiring specific skills.

Good in handling Order based invoices. Easy to use.
Good to find posted invoices. Easy to log in.

I can't find anyting to dislike about Medius.

It helps me to have a better overview of all my invoices. We don't have any paper invoices anymore.

**What do you like best about Medius?**

The reporting function is brilliant and very intuitive. The UI is visually pleasing and also intuitive. Labels, commenting and review functionality are useful. Approval routes are reliable and ability to apply 4-eyes threshold is particularly helpful.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

Downwards delegations do not work as expected. Security assignment is manual and not role based. Certain config items are not centralised, eg toggling escalations on and off. Inability to block the workflow at custom points, eg blocking anything from ever ending up in Authorise Deviations which isn't relevant to our business.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, our procurement and AP were dealt with in separate systems. Consolidating into one system with automated 3 way matching has been a game changer for us.

- Capture (AI learning our invoices, being able to rubber band information on the invoice, even on scanned in paper invoices)
- Customisation (eg making fields editable or locked at Post Control)
- Reporting (wide range of reports available to build and customise for our needs)
- Ability to move invoices through the workflow as well as backwards
- Ability to tag labels to invoices and pull these into reports as well as latest comments

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

- Different versions of the same supplier in our different legal entities
- Buggy system and final integration errors are not always straightforward to diagnose
- Messy dashboard to search for and view invoices under one supplier (many version of invalidated documents make the system messy)
- Audit trail for invoices that are deleted from capture cannot be traced
- Analyse and Approve Deviation queues which don't meet the needs of our business
- Lack of direct Medius support and guides or forums
- Labelling system could be improved (inability to mass remove redundant labels)

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Invoice processing efficiency (eradicates manual data entry)
- Streamlines workflow (could be improved in certain areas)
- More flexible reporting and ability to build data analysis
- Ability to view list of invoices in Dashboard per supplier (could be improved by allowing this across legal entities)
- Customisable reporting giving us flexibility to use this in data analysis

**What do you like best about Medius?**

Our account manager James Fox is very pragmatic and helpful, some of the other Medius colleagues are also friendly and very knowledgeable.

The software is functional but not well documented and there are process gaps

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

I've never dealt with anything like the BAU upgrade process, we seem to be constantly at loggerheads with Brian and Sean and I struggle to see a way forward that works for all parties.

There are gaps in the Web3 solution that indicate it should not be sold as a standalone product but that's what it was sold to us as, which isn't ideal

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'd like to say it's bringing all the benefits of a P2P system but it's taken a number of years to get to where we are and we're still not live to the wider business.

The best parts of Medius is the fact that capture and AP automation are on the same platform unlike most other software. It makes the whole experience flow much better and it feels like we have better control.

There are occasional bugs in Medius which can be annoying however the biggest downside is the fact that invoices get locked by a user who is viewing it. This causes many delays for us and it seems like a very old-fashioned way for a system to work.

It is solving our problems with late payments by automating many of our invoice processing and approvals. This ensures we do not spend time and money dealing with collection companies.

It's cloud based, which is super. Pretty user friendly for the authorizers. A pleasant interface.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

Some examples: Medius Capture doesn't have the same short commands as AP Automation. You can't search for users in the field for reference, or cost places. That would have helped us A LOT, and I can't really see why it shouldn't work.

Medius AP Automation: The way you need to set up accrual templates. Why can't I just click which account and then period? Why do I need to set up a template for each account and time span? That's ridiculous. 

If I do an advanced search and click an invoice in the list and then handle that invoice - afterwards, I get sent back to my inbox, but I want to go back to the search I just did. Small thing, but still annoying.
Also, advanced search still needs some more love to make it more user friendly.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I know that Medius focuses on solving problems with order based invoices, since most users mainly have those types of invoices. However, it's not benefitting us since we have 70-80% expense invoices and I don't really feel like problems revolving around that type of invoices are a priority at all.

Whilst we have a good relationship with our account manager, I think sometimes we only get half a story. We are struggling with a current release that has entered 150+ days in the release cycle. Very disappointed to here the release plan was fanricated. Not sure this should be being shared with customers.
Also, vaping on a client call is not a good look.

The system is user-friendly and easy to find your way around, see needed details, or ask for more information.
The system reduce the workload, improved our controls and allowed us to chase in a better way and obtain supplier credit notes.

Some of the upgrades require you to use external consultants' time to be able to continue working on the system as they need to adjust customizations. In my mind this should be included in the yearly fee we are paying.
No easy way yo upload xml invoices without using consultants' time to implement each supplier separately.

In the dashboard when I search for a specific supplier to see all their invoices, it is not clear what the status is because it only say 'archived'. Many times there are invoices that we deleted and they appear in the list (which is ok) but it woud be nice to see the actual status in another column.

Medius is a very powerful tool for the automatization of the AP flow. The ability to handle invoices without having to even see them is a blessing, enabling users to focus on more value-creating activities.

The company has been growing quickly, perhaps too quickly because there are some obvious growing pains involved. This is not unusual though, and they have been working hard on their communication.

The fact that it is cloud-based, is both the strongest part and the weakest part, whereas the pros greatly overweigh the cons in that matter. The pros: the support and service provided by Medius, and speed and uptime are near perfect and there is nothing to complain about there. During the implementation phase, we had some good dialog regarding the setup with competent consultants, understanding our way of business might be different from others.
Our users are also fond of it being cloud-based since they can access it from their mobiles, and it is easy to approve on the go.
The touchless process of many of our invoices has greatly reduced the cost of handling,

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

Being browser-based also limits its possibilities. Yes, the product needs to be standard for Medius to offer the service that they do and not customized to every customer, but it also limits further use outside of the two areas that are currently using it. We would love for it to be more integrated with regards to the payments to our vendors, especially the ones that need prepayment before the goods are received. We have done some manual adjusting with RPA and our ERP in regards to Medius, but we would love to skip that step in the process and have it directly from Medius.

We are using Medius to distribute all our Expenses in our three companies to the correct approvers and thereby make sure our monthly close is being met effectively. We spend less time trying to meet the deadlines of our parent company.

We also use the module for PO invoices, where the touchless function has greatly improved our manual handling time by the employees, and it has given us a lot of detailed data for further improvement.

Before Medius, our invoice process was all manual, so the automation that Medius has provided alone has been a game changer! The user interface is super user-friendly, and was very easy to roll out to our operations team.

The only complaint that I can think of at this time is that some recent support tickets were closed a little prematurely. They responded with what the problem was, but they didn't leave it open long enough to allow me to ask how to go about correcting the issue they pointed out to me.

A recent problem that surfaced for us was that certain roles were able to perform tasks they shouldn't, that should only be performed by our AP team. We submitted a support case to get some guidance, and they were able to find the issue. We are now needing to collaborate with them on fixing the issue.

The main benefit of Medius is the automation portion. Before we went live, our AP invoice process was all manual.

Medius makes everything more straightforward and efficient when it comes to processing invoices and getting vendors paid.  The simplicity of use coupled with the complexity of options available to tailor the product to our environment has helped us gain extreme efficiencies. Not only does our AP department love it, we have heard nothing but praise from our business.  The ability to send notifications and send comments and questions within the system helps keep invoices moving and helps hold people accountable. The robust reporting tool and CFO dashboard provide us with relevant and valuable information at the click of a button.  Business owners can check on payment status without reaching out to AP.  The detailed tracking of tasks and approvals makes gathering audit support and documentation painless.  During our 4 years of using Medius, we have seen continious improvement in functionality based on user feedback and there have been new modules added. Our team (whose combined AP experience is 50+ years!) collectively agree that Medius is the best automated AP solution we have seen.

There have been times when we have wished a particular area had more functionality. However, we provided our feedback to Medius and, within a few months, we saw that functionality released through an update.  Medius truly values and considers end-user feedback.

Internal accountability and timely approvals and payments help to keep vendors happy.  Our AP team went from nine members to four while, at the same time, the average processing time went from seven days to two days.   Time and efficiency have been the most valuable things we have realized.  That additional time has allowed our AP team to focus on more analytical tasks versus just tracking invoice approval status and following up with the business.

Some of the most valuable aspects of the tool are a bit young. There is growing that needs to happen, so AI is underleveraged in some places requiring complex configurations.

Our Medius project started as an effort to replace an overpriced document management tool. Eventually, we realized that the built-in capture AI and automated coding rules would help us turn a tedious and time-consuming task into one that creates value for the business. **What do you like best about Medius?**

Medius has really changed the game for us at PNA, a super robust system with functionality that tremendously helps scale your business.

**What do you dislike about Medius?**

The server seems to get glitchy a lot more lately these days. We encounter "oops we dont know what happened message" more often in the last 6 months.

**Recommendations to others considering Medius:**

Medius is a great product with great support.

**What problems is Medius solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increased automation.  Moving to a centralized AP function versus a decentralized function.
