How much does MaintainX cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, MaintainX pricing in 2026 starts at $20.00 and can reach $65.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the MaintainX, an Autodesk company's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is MaintainX pricing best suited for?

According to G2 reviews, MaintainX's pricing structure suits a wide range of organizations, but delivers the most value to small and mid-market teams in manufacturing, food production, facilities services, and hospitality. G2 reviewers from small businesses praise the free and Essential tiers for digitizing basic maintenance workflows affordably. Mid-market manufacturing and food production teams gravitate toward the Premium Plan for its inventory, cost tracking, and API access. Enterprise-tier adoption is noted among multi-site operations requiring standardization across locations. G2 users from smaller organizations or nonprofits occasionally find the per-seat pricing model limiting, especially when they need many occasional or view-only users without requiring full licenses.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of MaintainX?

MaintainX's free Basic Plan offers unlimited work orders and real-time messaging but caps users at 2 active repeating work orders and 2 procedure-attached work orders, with only one month of Advanced Analytics access. G2 reviewers note these limits quickly become restrictive for growing teams. MaintainX's Essential Plan at $20/month removes repeating work order caps and extends analytics to 3 months. The Premium Plan at $65/month unlocks the most operationally critical features, including parts inventory, purchase orders, time and cost tracking, meter-based maintenance, and REST API access. Enterprise adds multi-site management, IoT integrations, SSO, and AI-powered tools. G2 users frequently cite the jump from Premium to Enterprise as a significant pricing gap.

Is MaintainX considered good value for its pricing?

MaintainX is widely regarded as a premium investment that delivers strong returns, though cost is a recurring concern. G2 reviewers consistently rate MaintainX highly, with most giving 4.5 to 5 stars, even while acknowledging the price. Reviewers in manufacturing, food production, and facilities services cite measurable ROI, including a 90% reduction in unplanned downtime in one documented case. G2 users frequently compare MaintainX favorably against legacy platforms like Maximo and L2L, noting fairer pricing for comparable functionality. However, small businesses and budget-conscious teams repeatedly flag the per-seat cost as steep, particularly when view-only or limited-access users require full licenses. Overall, MaintainX's pricing is seen as justified for teams that fully utilize its capabilities.

"Maintain X is a great program and very versitile to meet our goals."

What do you like best about MaintainX?

At the beginning I was going blind and down the wrong path until I met Ira Famarin. She has guided me in the right direction and is very knowledgeable. I like how the software allows us to cut the paperwork part and have everything digital. I can go to a machine and see the total down time and cost. Software is user friendly and has so many options to pick from to reach your goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

Nothing really negative just the process of building it up to get all the information entered but has been made easier sense I can make a list and send to Ira to get it uploaded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient but Needs Enhanced Scheduling Features"
0.5/5
What do you like best about MaintainX?

I find MaintainX very easy to use, which makes it an effective and fast communication tool for people on the manufacturing floor to request help from maintenance or plan repairs. I appreciate its real-time work order updates and the ability for technicians to chat live with their supervisors, quickly upload photos of problems, or access equipment files to get necessary manuals. The initial setup within the software was also straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MaintainX?

I see the biggest opportunity in developing the scheduling features to make them more straightforward and to use the calendar for tracking both planned and completed jobs. It needs to be simpler for supervisors to pull from pools of planned work alongside PM selection pools. We also want more functionality in materials management and increased data collection of Bills of materials and asset-specific item usages. The initial setup of MaintainX was easy, but as an old facility, collecting and verifying our data internally was very difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
