Ideagen Mail Manager Reviews & Product Details

I am a champion and advocate in my firm for Mail Manager! It makes organizing and retrieving emails seamless and simple. In seconds I can direct and assign messages where I need them to be saved and it happens real-time in the course of receiving and sending email. I use it extensively throughout my day.

One corollary use I've found is by looking at the Status log or Dashboard, I can see where I've spent my efforts by virtue of seeing what email I have processed.

One of the main things I like best about Mail Manager is how it helps to run our workflow smoothly. It is easy to set up and just works away in the background with little input needed from ourselves. The initial integration was slightly confusing but once we understood the features the rest of the set up was easy. We are a small office and we all use Mail Manager on a daily basis. I love how simple it is on filing our emails to the correct files and how easy it is to search for anything that has been filed. This is way better and more convenient than just having a shared mailbox! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It solves something Microsoft has failed to provide in their core software: an easy way to file emails by project or category, firm-wide, which results in a more complete archive when the project is done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have not yet been able to jump to the new Outlook, and it seems like Microsoft is not making this easy, so not Ideagen's fault there. I use Ideagen Mail Manager for tracking sent and responded to emails, which helps in managing them efficiently. I like that it's an easy way to categorize emails. The feature I enjoy most is its ease of use. When I click send, it prompts me to show which folder I want to save it to, and once I select, I'm done. Sometimes it does not work if you do a computer update, whether that be Windows or Lenovo. It should just seamlessly integrate with any updates that happen in the background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are using the Sharepoint OnePlace Mail and it has streamlined all our emails into a repo according to job number which works are treat for collaborating between teams and accessing emails from clients.

The add-in itself has compatibility issues with outlook where outlook disables it automatically from time to time when the add-in is slow at outlooks startup. I think this is more of an outlook issue than OnePlace Mail add-in

The implementation team was extremely helpful and provided everything we needed to successfully set up the software. Even in the short time we've been using it, our team has already found it valuable. While fully automated AI solutions can be useful, they aren't always the best fit. Mail Manager is great for filing system of emails. Being able to go back years to project documents is helpful, moving documents when miss-filed is simple, creating the folders and handling the folders in SharePoint is easy. There are a number of things which I find the best in this software these include but are not limited to:

- Storage of emails in a single location, across all of our employee mail boxes.

- Ease of search functionality, upon filing, far better than the general Outlook 365 functionality.
