**What do you like best about MagicBooking?**

What I like best about MagicBooking is how well it supports the practical day-to-day running of an afterschool and holiday club. The system is very feature-rich and, once you become familiar with it, it really helps streamline admin tasks such as bookings and organisation.

I also really value how knowledgeable the team are, particularly around Ofsted requirements, which gives us added confidence that we are working in line with best practice. On top of that, they are extremely responsive and supportive whenever we need help, and they genuinely listen to user feedback and use it to improve the system.

Overall, it has helped reduce time spent on administration and allowed us to focus more on delivering a good experience for the children.

**What do you dislike about MagicBooking?**

There is a lot within the system, so it can take a little time to get fully familiar with all of the features when you first start using it. Once you are used to it, it becomes much easier to navigate.

**What problems is MagicBooking solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MagicBooking helps solve several key challenges involved in running an afterschool and holiday club, particularly around managing bookings, administration, and compliance.

It streamlines what used to be very time-consuming administrative tasks, such as handling bookings, registers, and parent communication, which significantly reduces manual workload and the risk of errors. This means our team can spend less time on paperwork and more time focusing on the children and the day-to-day running of the club.

It also supports us with Ofsted-related requirements, helping to ensure we stay organised and compliant with the necessary standards. Having this built into the system gives us added confidence in our processes.

**What do you like best about MagicBooking?**

Using MagicBooking has really streamlined how we handle sign-ups for our HAF programmes. It’s straightforward for both our team and families, which has made the booking process smoother for parents and improved access to key information. Since adopting it, we’ve noticed a big drop in admin time, and we’re able to cope with large booking volumes far more efficiently, ultimately helping us reach more people in the area.

**What do you dislike about MagicBooking?**

Getting started did take some effort, especially when moving over from our previous system. A few of the tools and settings weren’t immediately intuitive, so there was a short adjustment period. However, once everyone got used to how it works, day-to-day use became much easier.

**What problems is MagicBooking solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main challenge was managing sign-ups for hundreds of children while also needing to collect specific, detailed information for each child in a consistent and organised way.

Managing a busy HAF programme and Short Breaks involves handling high booking volumes, safeguarding obligations, and sensitive service requirements. MagicBooking has proven to be a dependable partner in this endeavour. The system ensures everything runs smoothly, covering bookings, payments, registers, and communications, allowing our admin team to concentrate on programme delivery rather than administrative tasks. Families benefit from 24/7 access to bookings and transparent updates, which help make services more accessible to busy or low-income households. The onboarding support from the MagicBooking team has been outstanding, guiding us through custom configurations tailored to our specific needs. We are proud to use a tool that truly advances our mission to serve young people and families.

Although MagicBooking offers many useful features, getting it set up can be time-consuming, especially for smaller charities with limited technical resources. Tailoring the system to our specific needs and training staff took some upfront effort. However, once everything was in place, the long-term benefits made those early challenges feel worthwhile.

Before MagicBooking, handling HAF bookings was tedious and manual, relying on spreadsheets and phone calls that led to errors, double bookings, and delays. MagicBooking has revolutionised this by centralising all bookings on a secure, user-friendly platform that automates confirmations, reminders, and attendance. This significantly lessens our administrative tasks, enhances accuracy, and allows our team to dedicate more time to supporting families and providing high-quality programmes.

**What do you like best about MagicBooking?**

Magic Booking has been the best investment our extended school club could have made, it truly is magic!!  We have saved hours per week in Admin time leaving us free to focus on the most important part of our service...the children. Feedback from the parent users is extremely positive. There is always a friendly person on hand in the odd case of any queries, tweaks to the system have also been acted upon to satisfy some reporting needs.I wholeheartedly recommend the system to anyone operating a busy club.
