LinkedIn is undoubtedly an excellent platform for showcasing your skills and creating a comprehensive digital CV. However, I believe its effectiveness is somewhat limited when it comes to providing real visibility for professionals who are just entering the job market and seeking a respectable position. In my view, LinkedIn becomes truly useful once someone has already developed their skills or is established in a particular field. For those just starting out, the platform puts them in direct competition with hundreds of more qualified profiles, which significantly reduces their chances of being hired quickly. What I dislike about LinkedIn Job Search is the inconsistency in job postings. Not all but some listings stay online long after the role has been filled, and many don’t provide enough detail especially around salary, responsibilities, or application timelines. Here you can find jobs by apply relevant filters by keywords, titles, location, industry etc. Some job positions allow you to apply directly from their site and you can create job notifications alert and once your criteria matches it will start sending you the notifications and eventually helps you in your job hunt. Sometimes you can receive spammy job listings, some job listings can only be visible to premium members, the job recommendation algorithm isn't always perfect and sometimes suggest position which is not relevant moreover there is the privacy concern too as if you are currently employed and don't want your employer to know you are looking for another job opportunities.
