Being able to import CAD files into the Geo-Hec-Ras model is a huge benefit. It allows me to better understand the impacts of water surfaces on my proposed sites. What I like best about GeoHECRAS is how it combines powerful modeling tools with an intuitive interface, making complex hydraulic analyses faster, clearer, and much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using GeoHECRAS on various Floodplain Mapping. I like the tools that helps to save time. Instead of going back and forth you can simply use different menu items and progress through your project with ease. It is simple to use with the interface. I like that GeoHECRAS provides speed and efficiency in creating hydraulic models and makes developing CAD files for FEMA CLOMRs easy. The organization of input parameters is also a plus. I really appreciate that all types of files can be dropped into GeoHECRAS to easily view other discipline's information and ensure my hydraulic models are as accurate as possible. The support team has been really responsive and available on the day of all our support requests. Also, the initial setup of GeoHECRAS was remarkably easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CivilGeo HEC-RAS and CivilGeo HEC-HMS have made Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) studies more efficient by organizing the workflow into dedicated tabs on the ribbon. This setup allows users to easily access and download the necessary resources for their modeling projects.

Using GeoHECRAS is straightforward thanks to its user-friendly interface. I can create a working model within a few hours, significantly increasing productivity. GeoHECRAS makes it easy to create reaches, cross sections, and assign Mannings coefficients, bank station, etc. Also the ability to modify one scenario and copy those modifications to another scenario makes it easy to implement changes. GeoHECRAS is always updating their software to make it better. New features are added regularly. Most important is the customer support. They ALWAYS get back with me in a timely manner and provided excellent support. Always getting my questions/issues resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that the software could utilize the GPU in the computer for all tasks. This would make the software perform smoother and faster. With that said, I just extended my license for another 3 years.
