The best part of using Formstack was that we were able to make changes as needed, through our uses of the forms we would realize we needed to add a question or have the form be dynamic depending n the answers people gave. When the Formstack forms were filled out online and submitted to our emails, the format they came in was kind of hard to follow and every time we made a change to the form something in the email submitted format would change--it would get very frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Formstack helps you to make fast and simple use of conditional logic. It also helps the customer interface seem super friendly after finishing an intake and only asks for the details they have to provide. In the era of ubiquitous SaaS options, Formstack begins spreading out with all these functionalities and partnerships that everybody needs their own pie slice. Rather than giving consumers a one size fits all solution to pricing, each feature appears to get its own price mechanism and limitation. Accordingly, several of the convincing modern innovations are being swept out to sea for small companies. I do not have issues that I am concerned about. You do have to use Formstack on a regular basis in order to keep up with changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If I didn't have Formstack we'd either have to contract with a freelance developer to build forms, or I'd have to learn to do it myself. Either one of these options would take away a huge amount of time, and Formstack completely solves this problem. It's incredibly versatile and there are very few limits to what you can do with it using conditional logic. Integrations are incredibly simple, and it's Level 1 PCI/HIPAA Compliant, which is huge. It's pretty expensive to add additional users. There's a Google Analytics integration that you have to pay a significant amount extra for; it's part of a larger add-on package that has some useful features but that you shouldn't have to buy as a bundle. There are a significant number of add-ons that used to be free features but now cost extra, which I'm really not a fan of.

I wish it were possible to copy and paste logic from one individual question to another. You can apply logic to an entire section easily, but within that section, if you want some but not all questions to follow a certain logic, you have to re-create that logic step-by-step for each individual question. We use Formstack for everything from giveaway entries, lead sign-ups, event RSVPs, and even ordering t-shirts and gear! We can set notification emails of a submission that follows a logic question (i.e. if someone requests a report from the Social, Email, and Web team, we'll each get a notification then and there).

I wish they had the option to Reorder items in a list (prioritize interest-level, etc) for surveys.

Additionally, it would be great if we could set backend values for form fields so that they match our data systems rather than requiring the front-facing info to match our backend (i.e. the question "How Interested Are You In Tickets" on the front end would be "Preference_Tickets" on the backend. Great for quickly building responsive contact, event registration and grant application forms that include conditional logic if needed. Formstack offers many integrations including with Google Sheets allowing for real time spreadsheet updates and and collaboration. Formstack also integrates with Stripe, Paypal and other popular platforms to create registration and donation forms for collecting payments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The price of the platform may be a bit expensive for some small businesses and nonprofits (even with Formstack's generous nonprofit discount), especially the Gold plan and higher. I would also like to see an easier and more seamless way to create monthly donation forms. Integrations to collect recurring payments (including the front-facing text that users see) are more geared toward subscriptions than monthly donations, so its a bit involved to create monthly donation forms. I love the logic available to users in FormStack. The Ability to hide question show questions for the relevant audiences really changes the way we collect information from our users.

I wish we could make links clickable. Right now we have to highlight a URL and right-click "Visit" to open a linked URL from the form. It causes productivity issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Formstack is a multi-purpose form building tool! Anything you can think of to use a "form" for -- it can be built with Formstack - from registration forms to surveys -- it is a one-stop, all-inclusive tool. And -- the integrations are OUTSTANDING! I can create digital flyers, invitations, and export files as needed. Unfortunately my organization does not have a CRM system for our Business Development Department, and we are fortunate enough to be able to have Formstack as a source to keep up with our business model. Not only are we able to use it to keep up with our Book of Business but we also utilize the system to track our time. In addition, since we create multiple events throughout the year, it is easier to keep track of invitations and registrations with Formstack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
