## Field Effect MDR Reviews
  ### 1. Valuable Alerts and Insightful Dashboard Make Field Effect Stand Out

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lawrence S. | Manager, Technical Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

We find the ARO very valuable. We're able to get alerts on outdated software, on devices which are not running the Field Effect agent, alerts on CVE which we would otherwise not gather from our old MDR. The dashboard is simple and gives us insight at-a-glance. Their service is prompt and knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

We implemented Field Effect approximately nearing almost a year now and I have yet to find anything to dislike about Field Effect.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We gain insight into CVE, which our previous MDR did not address. It also gives the end-user the ability to report on suspect emails by way of SEAS. It ties into our ticketing system, so we have daily insight into our customer environments as well as our own and can respond accordingly. It keeps tabs on anything which could be deemed malicious in our SaaS application also.

  ### 2. Exceptional Security and Usability with Field Effect MDR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa C. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I’ve been really impressed with Field Effect MDR, especially in how it balances strong security coverage with real-world usability.

What I like most is the quality of the alerts. Instead of being overwhelmed with noise or false positives, the alerts that come through are meaningful, contextual, and actionable. It feels like the platform is designed to help teams respond, not just react.

I also really value the human expertise layered on top of the technology. Knowing that detections are validated and supported by experienced analysts adds a level of confidence you don’t always get with purely automated tools. It doesn’t feel like “set it and forget it” — it feels supported.

Another standout is how clear and easy the insights are to understand. Even complex security findings are presented in a way that makes sense, which is especially important when security teams are also juggling broader IT responsibilities.

Overall, Field Effect MDR feels customer-focused, practical, and genuinely effective at reducing risk without creating unnecessary complexity. It’s a solution I trust and enjoy working with.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

One area I think Field Effect MDR could improve is around initial onboarding and ramp-up time. Because the platform is thorough and intelligence-driven, it can take a bit of time to fully tune and align it to an organization’s environment. The payoff is worth it, but it’s not always instant.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect MDR is solving the problem of security overload without clarity for most my customers.

Before using it, the biggest challenge was the sheer volume of alerts and signals coming from different tools, with very little context on what actually mattered. It’s easy to miss real threats when teams are stuck chasing false positives or trying to interpret raw data.

Field Effect MDR cuts through that noise. It correlates activity, validates threats, and delivers actionable intelligence instead of raw alerts. That means I’m not spending time questioning whether something is real , I’m focused on responding to confirmed issues.

The biggest benefit for me is confidence and efficiency. I know that what I’m seeing has already been analyzed by both advanced detection logic and human expertise. It reduces decision fatigue, shortens response time, and allows me to prioritize real risk rather than constantly second-guessing alerts.

Overall, it turns security from something reactive and overwhelming into something structured, manageable, and trustworthy, which makes a meaningful difference in day-to-day operations.

  ### 3. Outstanding Support and Effortless Security Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher S. | CTO, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I absolutely love the technical team and the quality of their support. They’re incredibly responsive, quick to detect threats, and efficient at helping us resolve issues. Field Effect MDR also provides a true single pane of glass, making it easy to manage our environment and prevent problems before they happen.

It’s also super easy to deploy, and the integration with our ConnectWise platform is a huge advantage. It allows me to assign simple remediation tasks to junior technicians, who can easily follow the included step-by-step guidance.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Honestly, I don’t have any significant dislikes. The platform works exactly as expected, and the support team consistently delivers excellent service.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect MDR is providing comprehensive threat detection and response, giving us true MDR coverage. It also identifies vulnerabilities across our environment so we can proactively address risks before they turn into incidents. The biggest benefit is the peace of mind it delivers knowing that our systems are being monitored by a skilled team and that potential issues are caught early and resolved quickly.

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I really appreciate Field Effect MDR for its comprehensive coverage backed by automated and human-led triage of incidents. The open API and partner focus are great features too. I find their AI detection and partnership with Beauceron incredibly useful, especially for shadow AI discovery and one-click triage of phishing simulations or active phishing threats. All the tools within Field Effect MDR work terrifically and integrate well with all our tools, providing seamless 24/7 MXDR service from a specialized technical partner. The initial setup was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Nothing

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect MDR helps us secure and respond to events in client environments, preventing and remediating security incidents. It provides 24/7 MXDR with comprehensive coverage, automated and human-led triage, open API, and partner focus. AI detection enhances our security operations.

  ### 5. Seamless MSP Integration and Reliable Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iain M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I really like how Field Effect MDR is easy to work with and integrates well with our PSA and other tools like Connectwise, M365, Google Workspace, Duo, Dropbox, Salesforce, and Sophos. The ARO escalation process is smooth, which makes things much more manageable for us. I also appreciate the company's focus on MSPs and the fact that it is a Canadian company. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

License and contract management has been a challenge, however the new portal has made this a lot better.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Field Effect MDR for 24/7 security monitoring and log aggregation. It integrates seamlessly with our PSA, making ARO escalation smooth. The new portal improved license and contract management.

  ### 7. Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** joswald.mata@itsasap.com M. | Client Transition Project Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

Field Effect fits very well with our team, and we have been working with it for a while now. Alerting has options for manage them in an easy way. The onboarding process is very straightforward with an easy-to-use dashboard giving our team the tools to caught issues on time. Customer support has been helpful for implementation and remediation.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Things to improve, I would say maybe seeing more information from the main dashboard.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect MDR helps us tackle security threats across our network, endpoints, and cloud without getting overwhelmed by alerts or needing a big in-house team. It filters out the noise, gives clear recommendations, and has both automation and real analysts watching things 24/7, so we catch issues faster and fix vulnerabilities before they become real problems.

  ### 8. Comprehensive MDR Solution with Easy Resale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominic P. | Account Manager

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I love that Field Effect MDR is a comprehensive solution covering all client environments, including on-premises and cloud. It's a partner-only offering with a limited set of SKUs, which makes it easy to resell. The ability to 'plug' into various environments like hybrid cloud, on-premises infrastructures, cloud-based SaaS, and cloud-based infrastructures makes it easy to offer broad coverage for cybersecurity. As a partner, selling the solution is straightforward since it's based on a pricing model per client user, simplifying quoting for the customer. I believe it's an industry leader in the MDR space.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

I would love to have some kind of virtual appliance in Azure IaaS for our customers without any on-premises infrastructure. Some customers leverage the Azure Virtual Desktop offering from Microsoft and since their infrastructure is almost completely in Azure, the lack of an appliance to analyze the traffic creates kind of a blind spot.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect MDR covers all client environments, providing broad cybersecurity coverage for hybrid setups. As partners, it's easy to sell with simple SKU pricing based on user numbers, making it straightforward to quote for customers.

  ### 9. 24/7 Protection, Easy Setup, Great Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agent X z.

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I really appreciate Field Effect MDR as our main managed detect and respond solution for cybersecurity. It's amazing because it works 24/7, providing protection even outside office hours. This continuous protection is crucial as it immediately detects and isolates threats, like when a bad link is clicked, to prevent infection. Another great aspect is its reasonable pricing, which is particularly valuable compared to other cybersecurity solutions. It's also super easy to install without the need for big appliances, making it user-friendly. Everyone loves how straightforward the installation process is, unlike some other complex solutions out there.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Sometimes it doesn't innately integrate with some of our other systems, so it took a little bit of time for us to fix that. When it interacts with other things, it kinda ***** because it triggered a malicious login alert even though it wasn't, and it shut down the account.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect MDR is our main cybersecurity solution, protecting us 24/7 from hackers and isolating threats instantly. It's user-friendly, affordable, and easy to install, but sometimes struggles with integrating into other systems.

  ### 10. Comprehensive Security with Minor Alert Detail Gaps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I love how Field Effect MDR goes deep with finding vulnerabilities in our clients' environments and how they are always on top of the latest vulnerabilities, letting us know if there is a single product or software in the environment that is vulnerable. The domain typo-squatting alerts are a great feature. It's very valuable to get insight into how things are configured within our clients' environments. For example, it let us know that a client's DC still accepted RC-40 Encryption methods for logging in, which we would not have discovered unless we manually looked for it. Additionally, the initial setup was really easy. We created a script in our RMM and pushed out the agents, and the appliances were plug and play.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Maybe including a little bit more detail on alerts, for the most part the info is fine but I catch myself having to reach out to support for more info.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Field Effect MDR for full security coverage, including network monitoring, cloud, and endpoint security, along with vulnerability assessments. It provides insights on configuration issues like outdated encryption methods that we'd otherwise miss.

  ### 11. Seamless Device Monitoring with Robust Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trushant G.

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I like the agent protection policy and balanced response protection of Field Effect MDR. The fact that it does not allow users to uninstall Field Effect is a great feature. I really appreciate how the balanced response policy takes automated actions if any suspicious activity is detected. The initial setup was easy, and I'm very satisfied with the switch from SentinelOne as Field Effect MDR goes beyond just being an EDR tool.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

I think it could be improved by bringing the hashes tab to the blocklist.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Field Effect MDR for monitoring devices and networks. It prevents malicious activities, has an agent protection policy that stops uninstalls, and a balanced response policy for automated actions on suspicious activity.

  ### 12. Effortless Setup and User-Friendly Interface for All Team Members

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I think it's the way it's laid out that even some less technical team members can look at the AROS and understand what's going on, and the remediation steps to resolve an alert. It's also simple to get up and running, with the installer scripts we push it out via our RMM tool, and we see the devices in the portal very quickly. It was no trouble getting the team up and running.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

There is nothing that immediately stands out as a dislike. Their team has been great supporting us if we ever run into an issue.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Detecting and Resolving threats, and generating easier to read visibility of our endpoint threat landscape

  ### 13. Beginner Friendly Product with Easy Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

What's most helpful in my eyes about field effect is ARO's and how easily they are broken down in order for beginner technicians to use and resolve on an MSP standpoint. Some of the key factors to field effect is: Theoir threat Detection, 24/7 monitoring, scalability, customer support, how easy it is to integrate into many MSP platforms for auto rollouts.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Some things are not clear to use for field effect even after doing some training. As well some layouts for the ARO's seem congested. I cant really say much else, except for these.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field effect is helping our business and customers keep an extra layer on their cybersecurity.

  ### 14. Outstanding Support and Comprehensive Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I really like the support from Field Effect MDR. Their staff is easy to contact, always providing answers that are clear and helpful. Whenever I’ve had questions and reached out via email, they’ve not only answered my questions but also follow up and offer future support.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

I think there could be more client facing documentation provided. While I do like their documentation for internal use there isn't as much as I would like for documentation to show clients or the documentation can be vague in some cases.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect MDR provides cybersecurity services that block bad actors and protect users.

  ### 15. Ease of Installation, Integration, and Proactive Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean-Denis T.

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I appreciate the ease of installation and integration of Field Effect MDR. The after-sales service is also something I find truly amazing, as is the service the team offers for the product's development. I like how intuitive it is without any integration issues, making it a great extension for everything related to cybersecurity.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Nothing, the product is excellent

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect MDR allows us to manage the security of our servers and workstations, to be proactive and reactive, and to have peace of mind regarding the security of our clients thanks to its proactive detection of vulnerabilities.

  ### 16. Effortless Deployment with Robust 24/7 Monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul John V. | Centralize Services Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I like the support; they have a very diligent response team. Having Field Effect MDR provides a support team to secure our clients, which is very valuable since my MSP doesn't have a dedicated security team. I found the initial setup to be very easy, and it's very easy to deploy.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Probably, the reporting. If we can make the reporting flexible, there are no flexibility as of now in terms of report generation. Integration to reporting tool can be improved as well.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect MDR provides 24/7 endpoint and cloud monitoring and response, acting as a support team to secure our clients.

  ### 17. Lightning-Fast Threat Detection with Unmatched Accuracy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mansel B. | National Director of Businesses Development and Strategic Alignment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

Field Effect’s MDR is powered by the same intelligence and research that supports their broader cybersecurity platform. This means:

Faster identification of emerging threats

More accurate detections with fewer false positives

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Alert volume sometimes overwhelms small teams
Several users report that the number of alerts (ARO — Actions/Recommendations/Observations) generated can be very high, which makes it difficult to keep up unless you have a dedicated resource for triage

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

24/7 coverage — threats don’t sleep. Cyber threats can strike at any time, including nights or weekends. MDR provides round-the-clock monitoring, so suspicious activity is detected even when your team is off-hours.

  ### 18. Unmatched Ease of Use and Integrations with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

The overall ease of use, excellent integrations with both Microsoft and Google, strong support from their SOC, and day to day ease of use is beyond any other MDR solutions i've used. They're also excellent partners with our team, continually providing access to their roadmap and allowing us to weigh in.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Very little I can identify at this time, they are significantly better than anyone else i've demoed or used on the market.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team started with minimal in-house security talent and they provided us a turn-key solution that gave our clients immediate benefits.

  ### 19. Simplified Security with Excellent Support

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I really love the support and ease of use of Field Effect MDR. I also find it very easy to set up. Features like blocking compromised accounts and ARO security notifications are particularly appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

nothing that I don't like

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect MDR solves intrusion and security problems.

  ### 20. Reliable protection without the headaches

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

I like that it does exactly what clients expect from MDR. It picks up threats early, responds fast, and the reports are clear enough that clients actually understand what’s going on.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

I’d say the only thing I dislike is that sometimes the explanations can get a bit technical for clients, so we end up having to simplify it for them. Other than that, it’s solid.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of clients not having the time or expertise to monitor threats themselves. For me, it means fewer panicked calls, smoother conversations, and an easier time showing clients that their environment is actually being looked after.

  ### 21. Meaningful Notifications That Keep Us Informed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Defense & Space | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

Getting notifications and alerts that actually mean something.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Not much. We use most of the features and data that comes out of the product. There isn't much to dislike.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping our remote users safer and letting IT know when they move around and that it is them logging in to the network.

  ### 22. Field Effect

The simplicity of the platform is what makes it great for our customers.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

There is nothing I dislike, our customers love the solution.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping customers with their security posture

  ### 23. Security departement without having one !

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikael g. | It administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

Rapid response with the simplicity. Also, Already having the documentation to address the ARO is time saving! Really simple to implement in your environment. The reply from the team is also great. You are not left alone. Around once an hour the closed area will be checked, so if something was missing, a new ARO is opened.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

There is no real way to split different location. It all come into a single tenant. The other option is multiple tenant which is not ideal for a single company.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a small team, so I don't really have enough time to do security like I would like.

  ### 24. One of the best MDRs on the market.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carl H. | Spécialiste Technique aux ventes, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2025

I highly recommend Field Effect MDR, it stands out for its ability to offer comprehensive and proactive protection against digital threats. This product is designed to meet the varied needs of businesses, regardless of their size or complexity, thanks to a unified and easy-to-use platform. So reliable, you can almost abandon your antivirus and simply rely on Field Effect MDR.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

The alert volume is high when set by default, which becomes very acceptable with a good personalized configuration for each client.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud protection and dark web, Proactive monitoring, Simplification of compliance, Vulnerability management and Protection against cyber threats

  ### 25. A valuable partner in watching our systems and networks for suspicious activity and threats

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cory L. | Network Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

Having an automated set of digital "eyes" on our servers, computers, and networks is a game changer. In this day and age it's become a necessity. The software watches for bad or out of date software, suspicious computer or network activity, suspicious logins to microsoft 365 and compromised email accounts. The support team has been fantastic to work with as well, both from the initial setup and implementation of the solution to just working through issues or questions as they arise from the generated AROs.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

So far we haven't found anything to dislike as this has been a great solution. I don't deal on the price side, but I imagine for some companies it may be hard to justify a price increase for a new solution, but some companies just say that about standard antivirus. But it's needed.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to watch our computers, servers, and networks 24/7 and see things we cannot ourselves. It can stop suspicous activities really quick, and it's already proven a number of times to do so, such as a compromised email account after a user clicked on a bad link it disabled it right away even before our email security solution noticed any issue with the account.

  ### 26. Field Effect MDR Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

• As a small MSP, I like the 24/7 SOC. It's helped a few different times to protect us from threats on user accounts.
• A security platform with a built in solution allows for even the most junior of staff to be able to remove Malware and address security concerns before escalations.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

• The amount of ARO' can be unbearable for a small organization with lots of clients. It feels like you need a dedicated professional to just monitor and review alerts.
• Sometimes when you ask for support on an ARO, the answer you get is the same information that was already shared. Thus - leading to Field Effect to escalate internally.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

• Having a live agent monitoring things while we sleep is a major win for us and Canadian Data Resedency.
• I'm looking forward to it's DNS solution to minimize the need of additional software.

  ### 27. Field Effect MDR Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

Field Effect MDR helps enhance our security presence by effectively securing endpoints 24/7, which when combined with Field Effect's SOC, allows us to improve existing policies and procedures, as well as implement new security pieces. Field Effect MDR is easy to deploy via Intune, which ensures devices are protected from the moment they are provisioned.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Field Effect MDR's support portal can be difficult to navigate at times, and the volume of alerts can be overwhelming. Field Effect's support agents are generally very helpful, but sometimes do not provide enough information to effectively investigate certain tickets that come up.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect is working on improving their PSA integrations, as well as the overall look and feel of their support portal. This will benefit us by being able to more easily manage tickets through our PSA tool

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

Super simple to read the alerts in realtime. We love Covalence!

At Infinite IT Solutions, we prioritize the security of our clients and our own operations. Since integrating Field Effect’s Covalence into our cybersecurity framework, we have experienced a significant enhancement in our security posture.

Covalence has proven to be an invaluable asset, providing us with the peace of mind that our digital environment is well-protected.

Unparalleled Protection and Peace of Mind
Covalence stands out as a comprehensive cybersecurity solution that addresses the multifaceted challenges of modern cyber threats. Its ability to monitor and protect our systems in real-time has been nothing short of impressive. The platform’s advanced threat detection capabilities ensure that potential vulnerabilities are identified and mitigated before they can cause any harm. This proactive approach has been instrumental in safeguarding our business and our clients’ data.

User-Friendly and Efficient

One of the most remarkable aspects of Covalence is its user-friendly interface. The platform is designed to be intuitive, making it easy for our team to navigate and utilize its features effectively. The detailed alerts and reports provided by Covalence are clear and actionable, enabling us to respond swiftly to any potential threats. This efficiency has significantly reduced the time and effort required to manage our cybersecurity operations.

Comprehensive Coverage

Covalence offers a holistic approach to cybersecurity, covering a wide range of endpoints and network devices. This extensive coverage ensures that no part of our digital infrastructure is left unprotected. The platform’s integration with other security tools, such as Defender and Azure, further enhances its effectiveness, providing a robust defense against cyber threats.

Exceptional Customer Support

Field Effect’s commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in their exceptional support services. Whenever we have had questions or needed assistance, their team has been prompt and knowledgeable in their responses. This level of support has been crucial in maximizing the benefits of Covalence for our organization.

Almost Too Good to Be True

The performance of Covalence has exceeded our expectations in every aspect. It is almost too good to be true how seamlessly it integrates into our existing systems and enhances our security measures. The platform’s innovative features and reliable performance have made it an indispensable part of our cybersecurity strategy.

When you consider the cost of it as compared to our previous stack, the financial difference is negligible. The fact that Covalence licensing is based on users, this means everything in the environment is covered without worrying about device or cloud licensing. We love the simplicity in the licensing model which makes it that much more cost effective.

Field Effect’s Covalence has been a game-changer for Infinite IT Solutions. It has provided us with the tools and confidence to protect our business and our clients effectively. We highly recommend Covalence to any organization looking for a reliable and comprehensive cybersecurity solution.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Sometimes the alerts take longer than I'd like to arrive, but that is me being picky. They usually arrive in near real time but there are times it may take a few minutes before you get them. That doesn't mean the software isn't doing what it should. You are still protected. I had to put something in this field so if there was one thing I could pick on is the delay via email.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field Effect Covalence is a super efficient cyber security solution that truly provides peace of mind while minimizing the overhead on the end points. We migrated all of our clients off competing platforms that would consume 30-40% of the user's system resources. With Field Effect Covalence, we are seeing 2-3% utilization on the high side. It is usually quiet and users hardly notice it running.

  ### 29. Great all in one MDR

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

how it doesnt only capture what is on the endpoint it will also capture your network side and m365 side aswell. They check for Email security they also send insightful alerts, very easy to use, and implement and integrate to clients.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

I wish FE for partners there was a better streamlined service for what email address gets the alerts instead of having to add someone into the portal as a user.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allow me and my clients to to relax knowing its looking at all angels.

  ### 30. Have been using Covalence with my security team for almost a year

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kayax A. | Cyber Security Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

Covalence by Field Effect is a small agent that report to the cloud the state of the endpoints in real time. Field Effect provide Vulnerable software list that is collect by the agent which is very helpful along side Defender, Azure and Covalence agent alerts that are detiled and helpful for the security team. The system has on prem and a web interface that are easy to use. Theire Customer Support is very resposive and mostly we found the system hands off which is great if you have small to medium compeny with limited security stuff as Field Effect do the heavy lifting in detection and alerting. Our security stuff are using it daily and for the most part are very happy with it.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Although Covalence is using real time agent, the vulnerable software list they create is generated from some sort of a collective database that is not updated in real time, it takes time for the database to update. Another feature that is missing, and would have taken Covalence to the next level in the security indiestry if they had it, is the ability to connect via command line to the live agent (cmd/powershell) for basic trubleshooting/install uninstall and local logs collection. Other securty vendors have it (Sophos live responds to name a few) and I do wish Field Effect will consider adding that feature in the near future.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint and network security and alerting along side some aspect of vulnerability management that are for the most part hands off

  ### 31. Best MDR for Medium Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

Field effect gets rid of the noise. I have used other products and I have found that I can trust Field Effecto to just alert me to the things that I want to know about, even if they are expected, or the action was performed by one of our admins. Even if not malicious I am glad I was informed, and since it isn't overwhelming you don't get a 'boy who cried wolf' scenario. You can treat every alert as serious and it won't overwhelm your team. The support team is good and it was easy to deploy and get running. We integrated it with our cloud and identity providors and use it daily for vulnerability management on top of the EDR features.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

I would prefer if more of the back end configuration was avaialble to end users (such as lists of all log sources, blacklists/whitelists.) While their support team will happy manage that stuff for you, sometimes I like to do it myself.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Field effect gives us the peice of mind that we are being protected. We run regular pen tests through services as well as automated tools and those have proven that Field Effect notices and catches intrusion attempts. On top of that it fills the role of vulnerability management and helps us with compliance requirements. We have it connected to our cloud solutions and identity solutions and all of that generates very little noise. They provide actionable alerts that I want to see.

  ### 32. Excellent Product & Company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

The best thing about Field Effect MDR is how easy it was to setup compatred to other solutions. I got to see a dashboard of all security in one place.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

I did notice a small slowdown on my machine after my organization implemented Fieled Effect MDR. I have a base model M1 MacBook Air, and I'm writing this in September 2024 so it's a fairly old machine now too.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have a 24/7 (or even dedicated full time) security staff, and we also don't have the capability to monitor all of our company assets manually or with different tools. Field effect is providing a company wide security platform and showing me all the information in one place, and it's being monitored by a trusted expert team 24/7.

  ### 33. Amazing MDR

**Reviewed by:** Shaun B. | Entrepreneur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

Field effects MDR platform (Covalence) is amazing. It remediates issues on devices, provides security and compliance insights on issues and vulnerabilities, and can track users logging into cloud platforms and whether there's sign in risks

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

There seems to be some limitations with flagging things as not a risk, and they also don't have a roaming DNS client for macOS

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint security and Cloud User login security. Additionally more endpoint vulnerability detection

  ### 34. Incredible Canadian Security

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

The team at Field Effect really cares about the service and their product.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

AROs (issues) are grouped together instead of per issue/device. That's likely changing based on some of the latest updates.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

24/7 SOC support. We don't have to look at it after hours.

  ### 35. I like the reports and recommendations we are getting with the app.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

As a new user, I currently do not have any dislikes about the app.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

24/7 support on all our devices. As an IT support company, we need to be protected against any external issues. The pro-active aspect of communication from Field Effect App are a great help to learn of any potential risks we may have.

  ### 36. The Field Effect Support Team is AWESOME!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler H. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

We are a small business and the Field Effect support team has been nothing short of awesome in supporting us through the onboarding and continual support to ensure we are utilizing the benefits of Covalence - Great Value!

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Not alot of downside experienced by us at this point - the FE team does regular checkins and answers our questions promptly. Despite being a small business they know where we need assistance and have been an integral part of our IT security.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Continually monitioring our IT security environment and letting us know where our weeknesses are and steps to take to address them.

  ### 37. Excellent product to keep your business safe.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Business Supplies and Equipment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

Field effect MDR gives my clients peace of mind and keeps the business secure. Not only does it track and validate my internal systems, but it also reaches across cloud platforms to spot items unheard of in the past. Deploying the package is straightforward and Field effect will work with you to completion.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

It is not as easy to get away with using certain VPN solutions to bypass monitoring. Almost everything is monitored all the time!

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need to keep track of multiple endpoints, user activity worldwide and a centralized reporting platform.

  ### 38. FieldEffect MDR - Product that's going in the right direction

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

The FieldEffect team is always there to hear our concerns and issues with the product. Any issues we've had with the product have been resolved by the team. Or, has been brought up the chain as a potential new update or feature.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Little configuration within the DNS Firewall. However, it seems like the FieldEffect team is putting in a lot of work to improve this feature.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

24/7 support/protection. Where we work from 8am-5pm, we're not able to monitor events through the night. It's reassuring to know the FieldEffect teams got us covered during those hours.

  ### 39. Best partner we have

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter S. | Chief Operating Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

The tech is amazing. The support is fantastic. But they are best in their support of their partners.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

It is so good it creates work for you to fix. Which is the point. To actually improve the cybersecurity of the environment.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Robust managed XDR. Removes the need for additional tools since it has so many capabilities.

  ### 40. By far the best approach to managing comprehensive cybersecurity for our clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

ARO approch helping you prioritize your team's efforts.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

Some features are not fully developed, i.e. DNS/content filtering while roaming from a trusted site. While they have the feature we cannot replace other tools in our stack.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Comprehensive MDR solution that is providing coverage of our client's cloud, on-premise network, and endpoint in a single pane of glass and easy to digest interface. Their ARO methodology makes it easy for our team to know what to focus on first, and then within the ARO there are recommendations on how to resolve/dismiss the item in question.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?**

- Very easy to deploy and manage Covalence.
- Less false positive
- Provide cloud, network monitoring, and endpoint security.
- Incident response package included.

**What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?**

It is a great tool, don't dislike anything.

**What problems is Field Effect MDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There is a lot of other platform which provide detection, monitoring, and remediation but the overwhelming of false-positive make cyber security personal life very difficult. It was easy to deploy and manage. I set up only critical and high severity notifications and received these notifications on the phone. Remediation steps were obvious and easy, so I was straightforward to mitigate the issue and set up a secure mechanism for future protection.
