We are using Cradlepoint IBR900 routers with AT&T cellular modems to backhaul IoT data packets from remote cities to our main facility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The unit was easy to program, and their Customer Support was always very friendly and pleasant to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

We have had problems with the AT&T cellular modems working in high RF environments. One site in particular is 0.2 miles from a commercial antenna site, and the RFRQ and other RF readings are very poor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the provider:

Do not use Cradlepoint cellular modems in any environment where they will be exposed to even modest levels of RF. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

We are backhauling IoT data packets from remote cities to our main headquarters. Using Cradlepoint as advertised was going to be an efficient, cost-effective way to accomplish this task, but the performance of the Cradlepoint AT&T cellular modem has been very disappointing. We asked for and received help from AT&T. They sent out one of their experience Cellular Network technicians to help us troubleshoot the problem. He was able to show that front end of the cellular receiver was unable to survive properly in even a modest RF environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CradlePoint's integrated service router solutions such as the AER2200 provide great boons to small businesses nationwide, allowing companies to manage their locations' networks remotely, make changes across the board with a few simple clicks, and make sure that everything is online and up-to-date. What do you like best?

The CradlePoint NetCloud is probably a great example of a good WAN management tool, and has a lot oif options for separating locations via a number of different parameters, and tracking their operability in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The devices themselves can be a bit finicky when it comes to firmware updates. Additionally, if something is changed locally on the router, it will not pull down the new config from the cloud, until you finagle it a little bit. It can be some work! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

Like I said at the top, using CradlePoint's devices allows us, as an organization, to manage multiple locations for clients nationwide, and makes network troubleshooting much cleaner and easier to understand for issues that inevitably arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
