**What do you like best about Spaulding Ridge?**

They have been excellent partners in thinking through solutions, implementation, and work ethic. I've really enjoyed working with them and genuinely feel like the people they bring to the table are part of the team.

**What do you dislike about Spaulding Ridge?**

I think, like most consultancies (including us), there have been times when, if we do not have someone dedicated to our project, we are contending with the resource's time elsewhere. We've felt a little of that and given them feedback. I will say they work hard to communicate with us better so we're not caught off guard or surprised. When those moments have come up, we've felt they have bent over backward to make things right. It's been very few times, so this has not been a common occurrence.

**Recommendations to others considering Spaulding Ridge:**

Meet with them, and I think you'll be impressed. I was looking for a partner to support our enterprise systems that I could form a relationship with and use to help us over the long term. I really value what we have with Spaulding Ridge.

**What problems is Spaulding Ridge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spaulding has helped us to implement Docusign CLM and a fully transparent Sales Contract Process. Previously, sales contracts were done exclusively through email. We partnered with Spaulding to implement CLM on our Account Documents and then followed with an implementation on our Opportunity documents. 
salespeople can click a button on the SFDC account or opportunity and create the contract template they need based on how the account and/or opportunity is configured. 
The side effect is that it's helped our Sales data quality. Our contracts team is able to see what each other is doing, cover for each other using the CLM Tasks, and route items to our Attorneys who also use CLM.  The visibility of the status of a contract is viewable in our Sales Pipeline reporting.   It's allowed a new level of accountability and more efficiency in our business rhythm by not having to hunt for where the contract is.  We use Spaulding Managed Services to support our ongoing improvements and any issues that happen with CLM. That's been very successful for us as we look to use more of the CLM system to continue to improve our processes. 

Spaulding has helped us implement improvements to our Certinia SCPQ estimation process to support the rollout of Intelligent Staffing in our Resource Management team. We had developed our way of creating projects and doing staffing that diverged from how Certinia intended us to use the system. Spaulding did rounds of discovery with us, and we all came to the conclusion that we would benefit significantly by using what we were paying for. They helped to plan and migrate us to the use of Resource Requests and then we rolled out Intelligent Staffing. We had about 300 people impacted by the changes, so we utilized Spaulding's change management services and successfully moved with people feeling informed and minimal surprises. The whole internal team that we brought with us on the project learned a lot, and we are back to managing, supporting, using, and improving the system. We also have a great roadmap and backlog for where we want to go with this overall estimation and resource process.

Spaulding has helped us move our HR and Accounting departments to utilize Docusign for the sending of letters regarding utilization, bonus, compensation, employment and then the automated storage of those in our HRIS system with the employee record. We had been doing most of this manually or via word merge and email. Now, once the data is approved, HR uploads the data to Docusign and the letters are approved by managers or HR, then sent to the employee for signature. That signed document is then move to the right place. Such a small project with a massive impact from a compliance and data quality standpoint.

We needed CPQ support after a handful of acquisitions and they came in and nailed it. Additionally, they helped with daily support and other projects.

**What do you like best about Spaulding Ridge?**

Before considering any ideas, Spaulding Ridge took the time to properly grasp all of our concerns and present architecture. His team spent time getting to know the underlying issues, imagining a clear solution, and staying involved throughout the project. They challenged us to do things differently based on their experience. Management was prompt, and the given resources were qualified and worked effectively to finish the allotted assignment, which was completed successfully.

**What do you dislike about Spaulding Ridge?**

The project took longer than planned, we had to push a few items out of scope, and we ran across unexpected barriers, but they were there every step of the way and brought in expert resources as needed. However, they were straightforward to deal with throughout the hurdles and project revisions, and their resources were swiftly brought to the table when we encountered roadblocks. We will continue to collaborate with them to add stuff outside of scope and make bandwidth more manageable.

**Recommendations to others considering Spaulding Ridge:**

We picked Spaulding Ridge largely because of their Anaplan technical competence, but also because they provide a larger range of technical and functional services that we intend to employ in the future.

**What problems is Spaulding Ridge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to reduce confusion in CPQ output papers, update the architecture to automate billing procedures, handle present manual contract and renewal processes, and increase approval flexibility and speed. While the deadline was stretched and the solution wasn't flawless at go-live, we now have a solution that addresses all of the concerns we had prior to committing. We are moving quicker on the Anaplan linked planning journey, and Spaulding Ridge has shown to be a valuable partner in growing the product in helpful ways. We've expanded our focus beyond financial budgeting to include workforce planning and incentive compensation.

The people from SR team were very patient in understanding our business requirements and open to discussions or debates on the design part instead of directly jumping on to conclusions.
This helped us deliver a best in class highly customised solution which was best in the industry.

Nothing to dislike. There were some bugs in the production release but the team worked together and fixed them within 24 hrs of the go-live. So, there's not much to complain about.

Our company partnered with Spaulding Ridge for a Salesforce development project as our internal teams had very limited hands-on experience with that technology and since this was a big project with strict timelines we thought of getting some experienced folks to work with us.

Spaulding Ridge helped us to design a custom Salesforce CRM solution for our tech startup. The project took around 3 months to complete and we now have a fully integrated system and platform that provides one source of truth for sales, marketing, and service.

**What do you like best about Spaulding Ridge?**

The level of service we received from our Account Manager/ Salesforce Associate, Sam Wilkins, went way above and way beyond what we could have wished for. His commitment to the project overall, to effectively communicating throughout, managing and delivering on expectations, and to navigating challenges with professionalism and optimism was truly a breath of fresh air and made the project implementation a huge success.

Can't fault the guys. We got way more than we expected, so if there was anything we didn't like at any stage, it was overshadowed by the value and support we received overall.

The project team from Spaulding Ridge was great to work with!  They quickly developed an understanding of our business model and planning process and were able to translate that understanding into outputs within Anaplan, while finishing on budget and on time.

Overall, the experience with Spaulding Ridge was very positive.  Our team found onsite interaction / working sessions to be highly valuable, but we only budgeted for a limited amount of these, so I would advise planning for more of this kind of interaction for your project.

Spaulding Ridge implemented Anaplan for our rapidly growing business.  Prior to Anaplan, our team used excel, google sheets and disparate data sources to prepare our annual budget and monthly forecasts.  With Anaplan, we now have a more streamlined planning process and can spend more time doing analysis!

Spaulding Ridge was knowledgable, responsive, set up an incredible project structure in agile, was transparent the entire way through the process and quickly solved issues during testing and cutover. I am a highly experienced implementation specialist and this was by far the smoothest experience with go-live that I've ever had.

**What do you like best about Spaulding Ridge?**

Client relationships are important when working with a consulting firm.  Spaulding Ridge ensured I felt supported throughout the implementation.  They utilize a great internal built tool to manage spend and scope.

**What do you dislike about Spaulding Ridge?**

As with any consulting firm, scope creep can be a problem however they worked with us to quickly resolve the issues.  There could be some improvement on project reporting but with a small amount of feedback the reporting was dramatically improved.

**Recommendations to others considering Spaulding Ridge:**

Spaulding Ridge is a well-established company but you feel like it's a boutique firm.

**What problems is Spaulding Ridge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of standardized approval processes for sales.  Billing issues due to the adoption of systems that can't handle our billing processes.  By using Spaulding Ridge to bring multiple systems into Salesforce, we can streamline processes.

I liked best working together in a friendly team and that we could count on quick and professional feedback to our requests.
The SR Team was always highly engaged to find solutions to what we wanted to achieve with CLM and supported our back if we wanted to go further.  
Project steps could be easily be adjusted if needed. The European SR team did a great job in organizing the project and being responsive to our various emails and guiding us back on track when we got lost.

No big dislikes at all. Maybe the workshops with the different departments during the discovery phase could have been combined into only one or two sessions to move through this phase more quickly.

The team had a great communication style, demonstrated great expertise, and always provided easy explanation/training on the tool.

We found a few missing steps on the admin guide, which made the transition from our budget a little complicated. However, Spaulding Ridge was always willing to jump on a call and help us troubleshoot the problems we were having.

Spaulding Ridge helped us transfer our contract lifecycle management system from a Sharepoint model into DocuSign CLM and helped us develop the necessary workflows, reporting and other functionality needed to successfully launch this new workflow system.

**What do you like best about Spaulding Ridge?**

Team members were very helpful and seemed genuinely interested in assisting us to achieve our goals. The team was clear on what they could assist with and what items we needed to follow-up on ourselves. They followed up on our questions by coordinating with DocuSign or providing us support articles for further reading.

**What do you dislike about Spaulding Ridge?**

Relatively small team, which required us to rely on specific team members rather than share responsibilities across a large group. This was minor deficit though as comradery with small team overcame any negatives. A lot of work SR helped us with was technical, so now that we are on our own, some items we may not feel comfortable modifying or updating as SR had more technical DocuSign expertise than our in-house IT members.

**What problems is Spaulding Ridge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SR helped us solve working within silos by consolidating work efforts from multiple systems into DocuSign CLM, which can serve multiple functions. We have not monitored business performance as that has not necessarily changed, but we have certainly improved our file management and our team members have saved a lot of time by not having to troubleshoot or search for files in our older system.

Spaulding Ridge supported us with a solution for our CLM Concept Approval Process.  They were able to work with us to integrate DocuSign's e-signature and CLM features to our existing SFDC platform.

**What do you like best about Spaulding Ridge?**

I like the way that they were very organized and structured in their approach.  The team was also very responsive to our needs and was readily available.

**What do you dislike about Spaulding Ridge?**

There wasn't anything that we didn't like that wasn't justified.  We would have disagreements on what was in-scope and out-of-scope for the project between both parties.

We had to delay initial meetings because we lost a person and during the discovery phase we lost another key contributor, but we were still able to finish.

**What do you like best about Spaulding Ridge?**

They were great to work with and responded quickly to changes. Were able to grasp very quickly our internal processes and the vision of where we wanted and needed to go. We truly felt they were a  trusted partner and were essentially part of our internal team. They were agile enough to make adjustments to accommodate changes to our timeline and expectation of deliverables. Deep knowledge of Anaplan's functionality and how to align with our business objectives.

**What do you dislike about Spaulding Ridge?**

They changed our SA mid-stream which had some impact to the continuity of the project related to knowledge transfer. Would have liked for them to have offered up more examples of best practices however they were good at pointing out when our methodology didn't make sense.

**What problems is Spaulding Ridge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't have a globally consistent Territory & Planning methodology. Sales teams felt there wasn't enough transparency in how quotas were derived and quotas were not delivered in a timely fashion. The new process & tool allows us to provide globally consistent data to sales managers to develop equitable territories and quotas. Sales teams will have more confidence in how quotas are derived  and provides an efficient process which will reduce the time sales managers spend on quota planning.

We really appreciated the Spaulding Ridge team looking at our big picture needs.  Because we are brand new to DocuSign, we really didn't know what to even ask for in designing our workflow. Highly knowledgeable of the system (Anaplan) and enjoyable to work with.  Creative and elegant solutions to complex problems.  Alexander Jackson was a particularly bright spot in the project.  He was incredibly flexible and hard working - Alexander was incredible when it came to solutioning complex problems and accommodating additional requests.  Alexander Jackson really made the project successful and was great to work with - I would recommend Alexander for any project, he was tremendous to work with.

**What do you dislike about Spaulding Ridge?**

Spaulding Ridge struggled with the management of this project - particularly from the PM and Executive Sponsor standpoint.  

To begin with, we had a PM that had never PM'd any project before (and this was a large project) and was immediately overwhelmed.  The second PM on the project had no time to dedicate to the project as the other engagement they were staffed on was in South America and took up all of the PM's time.  To resolve this issue Spaulding Ridge decided to make the Solution Architect (SA) on the project also be the PM.  This project was large enough that both of those roles are too big to only have half of the time dedicated to them - this caused many deadlines to start missing, items that the SA was intended to be taking being pushed off to other model builders that already had a entirely full workloads, and a lack of communication with the customer. 

The Executive Sponsor was particularly poor on this project and didn't seem to think that staffing a full-time PM was necessary and that the SA could handle both of the roles.  When this was brought up by the customer (on multiple occasions) the concern was brushed off as a non-issue.  This gave the impression that the project wasn't actually important to the Executive Sponsor and made the customer feel incredibly dissatisfied (bordering on offended) and that they and the success of the project were ultimately not important to the Executive Sponsor and Spaulding Ridge.

Once the issues were brought up and identified Spaulding Ridge took the appropriate steps to mitigate the issues and put the right people in the right places to complete a successful implementation.  Spaulding Ridge did a great job of addressing staffing issues by putting additional resources on the project to fill any gaps that were missing to ensure that they successfully completed the project and addressed all requirements appropriately.

**Recommendations to others considering Spaulding Ridge:**

Ensure that Spaulding Ridge does their homework up front to ensure they understand all of the requirements of a project.  Also, ensure that a seasoned PM is staffed on your project to mitigate issues down the line.

I really learned a lot from them and they were a big asset in helping us undertake this project. I would happily work with both of them again!

Spaulding Ridge struggled to support our project with a PM. The first PM they provided had never PM'd a project before and started there first day on our project. This resulted in the Solutions Architect also trying to PM. This distraction created issues within the Anaplan model itself and stretched the SA too thin. 

We raised the issue that this was not a viable solution and the rotation of interim PM's started. This rotating door of PM's continued to detract the SA from the build and resulted in a myriad of issues that resulted in missed deadlines, re-work, and frustrated clients.

In addition to the PM issue, the Spaulding Ridge executive sponsor failed to maintain regular involvement in the project. All of this resulted in me personally not recommending Spaulding Ridge for future Anaplan implementations.

Make sure you have a solid PM on your side and hold Spaulding Ridge accountable to the timelines they set.
