**What do you like best about CaterXpert?**

Having all information about an event in one place that all departments can access/refer to 

**What do you dislike about CaterXpert?**

Filter settings and limitations; fixed margins and lines in menu and estimate sections 

**What problems is CaterXpert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking repeat clients / events; budget reporting; reviewing past event details and staffing

**What do you like best about CaterXpert?**

All in one solution for multiple departments. 

**What do you dislike about CaterXpert?**

service crashes several times a week, this is very disappointing when we are working regular business hours and their services crash or they begin updating the system with out notifying us. 

While patch notes are given, they are incomplete and do not contain all aspects of change that were applied to the new version of the service. We are always finding out about changes to the system after they happen and find that we were never advised that it had been changed by CaterXpert. 

**Recommendations to others considering CaterXpert:**

Do not get trapped by their free trial/one user account. Make your own database offline using SQL or another program so you can own your data. It becomes very frustrating when the website crashes several times a week when we are at peak business season. They do not modify many features for user ease. It has been very difficult to implement any changes to our system without having to pony up for a "custom" interface costing serveral hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars.

It is an all in one solution but so old-tech, needs a lot of improvement

**What do you like best about CaterXpert?**

Being able to enter in info on all pieces of an event and have other departments access and add their piece to it. 

**What do you dislike about CaterXpert?**

If you hit the back button without selecting save you lose everything you just did, can be very frustrating when working quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering CaterXpert:**

A good tool for keeping a catering business in order, needs some small improvements but overall does the job.

**What problems is CaterXpert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving project management issues in a large very busy catering company. Everyone having access to information for events from the owner down to the servers working the events.

**What do you like best about CaterXpert?**

CaterXpert feels like every facet of an event was taken into consideration. You are easily able to plan and organize a large event within a short period of time and keep track of your upcoming calendar.

**What do you dislike about CaterXpert?**

One main thing that could be better incorporated into the program is reporting on specific clients and relationships with them. I know this software is more about the planning and organization rather than CRM, but that is one aspect that could make CaterXpert even better. I also think that the timeline feature could be improved and a floor plan feature added.

**Recommendations to others considering CaterXpert:**

Take the time to get to know every feature. The program isn't the most up to date looking, so it is easy to miss some of the great features, such as the vendor list, service logger, etc.

**What problems is CaterXpert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing CaterXpert is useful for other than creating menus and organizing the event, is the information communication it offers between kitchen, staff, and sales people.
