## BrandMentions Reviews
 ### 1. Finally a way to see what people say behind my back (in a good way!!)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadia G. | Project manager, Public Relations and Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

I really like the email digests. I’m super busy running the shop and I don't always have time to log into a "dashboard". Getting a clean email every morning that says "Hey, 5 people mentioned your bakery today" is perfect. It even found a TikTok where someone was showing off our sourdough and it went semi-viral! I would have totally missed that and lost the chance to comment and thank them if it wasnt for the alerts. It makes me feel like I actually have a PR team even though it’s just me and a laptop.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I can't change the background color to something darker

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it's helping me manage my reputation without me having to spend 4 hours a day on social media. I can just "set it and forget it" and only jump in when there is something important to reply to.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thank you for choosing BrandMentions to be part of your team. We’re honored to help you grow your community, one mention at a time!

 ### 2. Essential social listening app for keeping an eye on the competition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marina L. | Chief Communications Officer (CCO), Machinery, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

I really like how easy it is to track competitors’ mentions alongside our own brand mentions, all in one place. Setting up separate projects for different competitors or product lines is very flexible and helps keep everything well organized. This makes it much easier to monitor specific markets, campaigns, or product launches without mixing data. The platform gives a clear, real-time overview of what’s being said, which is extremely valuable for staying informed and proactive.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The results are very accurate and reliable, theAI integrations do all the work for you. Maybe some more customizations in filters altough they are a lot already.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool solves the challenge of knowing exactly where and how our competitors are being mentioned across the web and social channels. It allows us to quickly spot relevant conversations, understand market sentiment, and identify opportunities to engage, respond, or adjust our strategy. This helps us stay competitive, react faster, and make more informed marketing and communication decisions.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thanks a lot for the feedback!
Stay tuned for more updates :)

 ### 3. Structured Insights That Clarify Customer Expectations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie B. | VP of Data Analytics and Insights, Information Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

BrandMentions proves particularly valuable for tracking feedback aimed at improving customer satisfaction. It organizes customer opinions in a clear, structured format, which makes it easier to spot trends and patterns as they develop over time. This level of clarity allows for the identification of recurring issues, positive feedback, and even subtle shifts in perception, all without the need for manual investigation. As a result, it saves time and deepens overall understanding.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The sentiment categories could benefit from some fine-tuning to better match brand tone, especially in cases where feedback contains mixed sentiments or uses indirect language that calls for contextual understanding.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrandMentions addresses the problem of fragmented customer feedback by bringing together conversations and turning them into valuable insights. This not only increases understanding of user expectations but also enables quicker responses to issues. As a result, decisions can be made based on actual experiences instead of assumptions, leading to greater customer satisfaction and more assured planning.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thank you for the insightful feedback! We’re thrilled to hear that our structured insights are helping you track customer satisfaction trends more efficiently.

We also appreciate your note on sentiment fine-tuning; we are constantly working to improve our contextual understanding to better capture brand-specific nuances. Thanks for helping us grow!

 ### 4. Life-Changing AI Summaries That Save Hours

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quinlin R. | Associate Engagement Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The AI summaries actually make sense. I spent hours wading through junk mentions just to find the stuff that mattered. Now I open the dashboard and get a clean breakdown of what's important, already sorted by sentiment. It's honestly life-changing. I can wrap up my monitoring in 30 minutes instead of burning half my day on it.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I'm almost too dependent on the alerts now. Every time I see a red notification, my stomach drops a little. But that's not really the tool's fault. It's because the alerts are always legit and I know I need to deal with them immediately. Double-edged sword, I guess.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saved me from burning out on manual monitoring. What took me most of the day now takes maybe 30 minutes. The accuracy is solid, so I'm not second-guessing everything or double-checking sources constantly. I actually have time to do other parts of my job now.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> We’re so glad our AI summaries are giving you back hours of your day. Thanks for sharing the win! 💙

 ### 5. Best Reporting Flexibility on the Market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Curtis R. | Founder, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

Honestly? The report customization is what sold me. I’ve used tools where you’re basically stuck with whatever template they give you. With BrandMentions I can adjust almost everything , filters, metrics, layouts, exports, it’s actually flexible. We create different types of reports depending on who we send them to (clients vs. internal team) and it works great for both.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The first time setting up a project took me a bit to understand how deep the features go. But after that it was smooth.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to monitor brand mentions AND present them in a clean, professional way without manually building reports in PowerPoint every week.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thank you for choosing BrandMentions and for the fantastic feedback! 💜
It’s great to see you’re taking full advantage of the custom filters and layouts to tailor your insights for both clients and internal stakeholders.

 ### 6. Clear, client ready reports that make monthly updates effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike T. | IT Technical Lead, Transportation/Trucking/Railroad, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

As someone managing multiple client accounts, reporting clarity is everything. BrandMentions makes it very easy to generate clean, professional PDF reports that clients can actually understand.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I would appreciate more advanced white label customization options on entry level plans, especially for agencies that want deeper branding control.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrandMentions has reduced the time I spend on reporting by roughly five hours each week. I no longer need to manually gather data from different sources or worry about inconsistencies in spreadsheets.

 ### 7. Essential for "LLM Optimization" and Entity Tracking.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherwood R. | Head of SEO & AI Strategy, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

Its ability to track unlinked brand mentions across the web is valuable. In 2026, SEO focuses on "entity recognition" and training AI models on your brand. BrandMentions helps with this by showing where Gemini or ChatGPT is pulling their data from, allowing us to influence our brand narrative at the source.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I’d like to see some “Predictive AI” features, specifically those that forecast which mentions are likely to go viral based on their early engagement velocity.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It bridges the gap between PR and SEO. We use it to turn “buzz” into "backlinks" and ensure that search engines detect a consistent, positive sentiment across all unfiltered areas of the web.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> That’s a nice perspective! It really highlights how social listening has evolved from a PR "vanity metric" into a technical necessity for modern SEO and AI visibility.
Thanks for helping us stay at the cutting edge of entity tracking!

 ### 8. Everything I Need in One Dashboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Swathi N. | Project Manager, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

It picks up mentions from everywhere. I track across different countries and languages, and this is the first tool that actually works as advertised. Everything shows up in one dashboard, so I'm not wondering if I'm missing conversations in markets I can't easily monitor.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The interface throws a lot at you right away. Tons of widgets and options when you first log in. It takes a few days to figure out what you actually need and customize it properly. Not a dealbreaker, just a bit of a learning curve upfront.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to juggle multiple monitoring tools. One for social, another for news, something else for blogs. The data never matched up and I'd waste time arguing about which numbers were right. BrandMentions put everything in one place. Now my reports are consistent and I can catch issues early, no matter where they pop up.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> It’s wonderful to hear that we’re your go-to for global monitoring! We take pride in ensuring no conversation goes unnoticed, regardless of language or location.

We appreciate your honesty regarding the dashboard, we know there’s a lot to explore at first! We’re constantly working to make that initial setup smoother, and we're glad to hear that once you customized it, it became the 'all-in-one' solution you needed. Thanks for being part of the BrandMentions community!

 ### 9. The best brand monitoring tool? Brandmentions takes the crown

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Punnada L. | General Manager, Building Materials, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

Other tools are purely binary (positive/negative), but BrandMentions' AI goes beyond surface-level NLP. The precision in flagging nuanced context like sarcasm or subtle frustration means the resulting insights aren't just directional; they're actionable and statistically reliable. It’s the difference between guessing your brand health and actually knowing it.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The sheer volume of data gathered from its unrivaled web coverage can sometimes require intensive initial filtering when running highly general alerts. It's the challenge of managing a comprehensive firehose of information, but ultimately, I'd rather have too much data than miss one critical mention.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It eliminates blind spots in online monitoring. It solves the problem of slow crisis detection by providing real-time alerts across all web and social channels, ensuring we are the first to know about a developing story. The main benefit is the ability to maintain brand trust and competitive intelligence simultaneously.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thanks for the high praise! 💙
Taking the crown, we love to see it! 👑

 ### 10. AI Insights That Streamline Workflows and Deliver Actionable Data Instantly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David P. | Managing Director, Architecture & Planning, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The depth of the AI-powered insights creates a smoother workflow by reducing the need for manual interpretation and keeping the setup process straightforward. The platform integrates cleanly with existing reporting systems, making it easier to deliver high-value insights quickly. The clarity of its strategic analysis makes complex data feel immediately actionable.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

It's a purely technical quibble: The minimum setup for a new monitor/alert is quite feature-rich. You are forced to utilize its powerful querying system, which is great, but sometimes I just want a very basic alert without configuring all the advanced parameters

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Addresses the scalability challenge for independent professionals by delivering enterprise-level monitoring and high data accuracy at a fraction of the usual cost. The benefit is stronger credibility and consistently higher service quality for clients, supported by reliable insights that match the performance of far more expensive platforms.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thanks for the feedback and for making us part of your reporting stack! 💙

 ### 11. 12+ Emotion Insights and 10 Years of Historical Data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophie S. | Customers Relation Manager, Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

THE EMOTION ENGINE. Most tools just do "Good/Bad/Meh," but this one breaks it down into 12+ emotions like "Admiration" or "Frustration." It’s a huge bonus because I can tell if a spike in mentions is people being happy or people being angry-sarcastic. Also, the 10 years of historical data is a massive flex, most other tools cut you off after 12 months unless you pay for "Enterprise."

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

Nothing to add here; waiting for een more AI features

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us spot a PR crisis before it actually becomes a "crisis" by tracking the vibe shift, not just the volume.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> We're so glad you’re loving the Emotion Analysis!
Moving beyond basic sentiment to those 12+ specific emotions is exactly how we help users catch the nuance in the noise.
Thanks for the shout-out on our 10-year historical data, too 💜

 ### 12. Smarter Influencer Discovery, Not Just Based on Follower Count

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ofir H. | Head of PPC, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The system cleverly cross-references its extensive coverage with AI-driven sentiment analysis to provide an accurate impact score for authors, focusing on engagement rather than just reach. As a result, it enables much more effective identification of influencers for targeted campaigns. Setting everything up is straightforward, and the support team is consistently responsive and helpful whenever I have questions.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I would really appreciate having more transparent customization options for the proprietary influencer scoring algorithm directly in the UI. Although the results are impressive, I am interested in understanding precisely how their advanced AI assesses authority within specific niche categories.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool addresses the issue of wasted outreach on profiles that have little impact. Its main advantage is that it enables connections with true brand advocates who create genuinely positive and authentic sentiment, which in turn results in improved partnership ROI.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Your interest in the 'under the hood' mechanics of our influencer scoring is noted as we're always looking for ways to make our AI more transparent for power users like you. Thanks for the kind words about our support team; we're always here to help! 💙

 ### 13. BrandMentions: Unbeatable Indexing Depth and API Reliability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolas R. | Co-Founder, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The technical depth of the indexing engine is phenomenal. It captures mentions in over 70 languages and processes data streams from sources often missed by competitors, like older RSS feeds and specific regional news aggregators. The resulting data reliability for global market analysis is the best in class.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

As we integrate the data into our internal BI platform, the API documentation could be slightly more detailed regarding the complex schema structure for niche data points (like author influence scores). It's a minor hurdle for our engineering team, reflecting the tool's deep complexity rather than a flaw in its functionality.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of unreliable global data sampling and poor language coverage is addressed. The benefit is providing a single source of truth for all cross-border marketing and PR efforts, ensuring strategic decisions are based on complete, globally representativedata.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're thrilled to hear that our indexing depth and global coverage are making a real impact on your analysis. 🙌

 ### 14. the way to keep your brand image clean in a competitive local market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine D. | Executive Administrative Assistant, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

BrandMentions allows us to track not just our brand, but the lifestyle keywords associated with our properties. If people are talking about a new school or park, we can update our marketing copy instantly to match the local vibe.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

It would be great to have a more visual "heat map"

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying ahead of local market sentiment shifts before they reflect in property prices.

 ### 15. a reputation management tool I highly recommend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milán S. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Wholesale, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The real-time alerts. In PR, every minute counts during a crisis. BrandMentions pings me the second a negative thread starts gaining traction, allowing us to jump in before it spirals.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The Boolean search queries can be a bit steep if you aren't used to technical syntax. But hte team helps you out fast.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It acts as an early warning system for brand sentiment.

 ### 16. Great Value For Agencies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fontaine O. | Business Analyst, Manufacturing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The price compared to what you actually get is really solid. We're a small agency so budget matters a lot. what I like most is the variety of report type, competitive analysis sentiment, performance overview, etc. And they're not ''basic'' reports either you can tweak them a lot it works for both our senior strategist and interns, which I didn't expect. Super pro users can go deep into the analysis, but beginners don't get lost.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I don't have anything in particular, just nitpicking stuff.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client reporting used to take HOURS. Now its; mostly automated and customizable.

 ### 17. Monitoring Industry Conversations for Strategic Awareness

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niv P. | ODDITY, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

BrandMentions reliably brings together important industry conversations, gathering discussions from various channels into one place. By drawing attention to emerging trends and competitor actions, it allows for ongoing monitoring of market dynamics and helps with strategic planning, all without the need to manually follow multiple sources.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

As more data is gathered, historical trend analysis becomes progressively more insightful, enabling a deeper understanding to emerge through continuous and consistent monitoring over time.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By bringing together scattered industry mentions and transforming them into organized insights, it becomes much simpler to grasp what competitors are doing and to spot new market trends. As a result, this process supports better-informed decision-making, allows for more proactive strategic adjustments, and enhances the ability to anticipate both opportunities and threats within the industry.

 ### 18. Actually Easy to Use (and I'm not techy)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc H. | Senior Manager Business Consulting , Professional Training & Coaching, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

I'm probably not the typical ''power user'' type. I work in comms and just needed something that tracks mentions and lets me send clean reports to management. Brandmentions is honestly very intuitive. I didn't feel overwhelmed. What impressed me the most is how many reporting options there are. You can keep it simple or go very detailed. The export options are great too.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

Sometimes loading large datasets takes a few seconds but nothing dramatic.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me visibility into what people say about our brand online without having to check multiple platforms separately.

 ### 19. Enables fast and clear monitoring for any brand

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian H. | Communications Manager, International Trade and Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

I love how it tracks mentions across not just social media, but blogs and news sites too. It gives us a 360-degree view of what our customers are feeling. The alerts are great because they allow my team to swoop in and help a frustrated customer before they even have a chance to file a formal ticket.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The sidebar uses a specific shade of grey that reminds me of a rainy day in London.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now our marketing, PR, and success teams are all looking at the same feedback in real-time, so we’re all on the same page.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thanks a lot for the feedback for keeping your whole team on the same page with us.

 ### 20. Super Friendly Interface with Helpful Daily Digests and Real-Time Alerts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martina F. | Group HR Director, Industrial Automation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

the interface is super friendly. im not a tech person but i figured it out in like 5 mins. i love the daily email digest because i can see who's talking about my brand while i drink my morning coffee. real time alerts are a blesing for small biz owners.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

Initially I tought that the price is a bit high for a one person show but the time it saves me is worth it i supose.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i used to spend hours searching my name on twitter and google. now it just comes to me.

 ### 21. Streamlined Brand Monitoring and Intuitive Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Idogun A.

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

What I like most is how intuitive and well-structured the platform feels. The sentiment breakdown and source categorization make it easy to understand the context of conversations at a glance. This reduces the time spent analyzing raw data and allows our team to focus more on interpreting insights and making informed decisions.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

While BrandMentions is very effective overall, some of the more advanced features take time to fully understand. New users may need additional time to learn how to optimize filters and alerts. More in-platform guidance or use-case examples could help shorten the learning curve for teams onboarding for the first time.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before BrandMentions, our monitoring process lacked consistency and depth. We often relied on delayed alerts or fragmented tools, which meant important mentions were discovered late or overlooked entirely. BrandMentions solved this issue by bringing all mentions into one dashboard with real-time updates, helping us respond faster and manage brand perception more proactively.

 ### 22. Transformative Tool for Brand Monitoring Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Idogun A.

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

What I like most is how easy it is to make sense of the data. Mentions are categorized clearly by sentiment, source, and relevance, which saves our team a lot of time. Instead of manually sorting through raw mentions, we can quickly identify patterns and focus on insights that actually support decision-making.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

While the platform is very effective overall, the volume of data can feel overwhelming at first, especially for new users. It takes some time to learn how to fine-tune filters and alerts to reduce noise. More guided onboarding for advanced configurations could improve the early experience.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before BrandMentions, our team struggled with delayed visibility into online conversations. We often found out about mentions after discussions had already progressed, limiting our ability to respond or adjust messaging. BrandMentions solved this by delivering real-time monitoring in one place, allowing us to identify issues early, act faster, and maintain better control over our brand narrative.

 ### 23. Best social listening tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kata L. | Social Media Marketing, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The depth of the search is incredible. It finds discussions everywhere, even in obscure sites that any other tools seem to miss. The interface is also surprisingly snappy

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I wish the export options for white-label reports had a bit more drag-and-drop flexibility for custom layouts.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were losing out on opportunities. Now, we find everyone talking about us

 ### 24. Enterprise-Level Scope at an Agency-Friendly Cost

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | Group HR Director, Machinery, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The platform’s incredible broad coverage ensures it monitors the entire web, from obscure forums to major news outlets. This all-in-one capability is essential for managing multiple clients across diverse niche industries. Whenever I’ve needed assistance, their customer support is responsive and knowledgeable, helping me address any issue quickly so no relevant conversation is ever missed.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The advanced filtering setup has a slight learning curve for new team members. It’s so powerful and granular that training takes longer than expected to fully harness its capabilities, but that complexity is necessary to handle the depth of data it provides.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the budget/scope conflict. We benefit from offering clients best-in-class, comprehensive social intelligence without the high fees associated with legacy enterprise platforms, making us highly competitive and data-driven.

 ### 25. the app that saved our reputation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor G. | Managing Director, Computer & Network Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

We started using this social listening app after noticing a few negative mentions about our brand online that we weren’t even aware of. Within days, itbecame clear just how powerful BrandMentions tool is. Thanks to the real-time alerts and sentiment analysis, we were able to address a misunderstanding about our product early on. What could’ve escalated into a PR crisis ended up becoming an opportunity to show transparency and care toward our customers. Beyond reputation management, we’ve also discovered how useful it is for market research and competitor tracking. The insights are incredibly valuable for shaping our communication and content strategies. If you care about how your brand is perceived online, this app is a must-have.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I really like it so far, I’d only add here as a suggestion for a future functionality the possibility to reply directly from the app.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

having an early warning system for your reputation and I found it in BrandMentions.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thank you so much for sharing your experience, we’re truly glad BrandMentions helped you turn a potential PR issue into a moment of transparency and trust with your customers. That’s exactly what we aim for! 🙏

 ### 26. Next Level Competitive Monitoring with Sentiment Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd M. | Staff Developer, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The most useful part for us is the competitive intelligence BrandMentions doesn’t just show mention volume, it shows how our competitors are perceived emotionally. When a post mentions Shopify and a rival, it breaks down the sentiment separately, giving us a precise edge in understanding perception. This is something other tools simply don’t do well.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

Initial setup for competitor tracking can be a bit tedious, especially when defining the right phrases or entities to monitor. It takes a few tries to get the most relevant data.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to guess how we measured up to other e-commerce platforms. With BrandMentions, we have real competitive sentiment data and emotional context, which helps inform product decisions, campaigns, and positioning. Our strategy is now more data-driven and reactive to market perception.

 ### 27. From endless mentions searching to one dashboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Junkoo L. | Managing Director, International Trade and Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

Honestly, the BrandMentions team is awesome. Anytime I got stuck setting up filters or tweaking searches, they jumped in right away. The AI features are a huge win too, I love how mentions are instantly labeled as Positive or Neutral, which saves me a ton of time and effort.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The mobile experience could be a little stronger. It works, but I’d love something more polished for quick check-ins when I’m on the go.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before this, I was spending way too much time manually scrolling through results. Now everything I need is right there in one clean dashboard.

 ### 28. Smarter Online Mention Tracking For Design Professionals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorenzo P. | Project Director, Architecture & Planning, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The tool makes monitoring Instagram posts and web mentions effortless. I can track emerging design trends, competitors’ projects, and audience reactions all in one place. It’s especially helpful for spotting popular architectural styles and understanding what content truly engages the community.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

Filtering local projects can take a bit of setup to get precise results.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform has completely streamlined my workflow. Instead of manually checking Instagram and multiple websites, I now get a centralized view that supports faster research, better content planning, and more strategic recommendations for clients.

 ### 29. Great for Tracking Competitors & Brand Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex Ovdienko . | CEO and co-founder, Computer & Network Security, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

I can’t get enough of how BrandMentions helps me track not just my brand’s mentions, but also keywords tied to my industry. The competitor tracking is a bonus, too. I can see how we’re being compared to others, which is useful for adjusting our marketing tactics.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The mobile app could use a bit of love. It works, but it feels a bit clunky compared to the desktop version. When I’m trying to check up on mentions quickly while I’m out and about, it’s just not as smooth as I’d like it to be.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrandMentions has really helped me monitor how people feel about us in different regions. It tracks mentions across not only social media but blogs, forums, and news sites, which gives me a full picture. It’s been super helpful in shaping our PR efforts and keeping an eye on our brand’s reputation. It's one of those tools that feels like an extension of the team.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Hi there! 👋

Thank you so much for your kind words. We’re thrilled to hear that BrandMentions helps you stay on top of your brand and competitors while uncovering key industry insights. 💡

We appreciate your feedback about the mobile experience, that’s really helpful, and improving mobile usability is definitely on our roadmap.

 ### 30. Powerful Sentiment Analysis for Crisis Prevention

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro D. | Country Manager, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The sentiment feature is truly the star of the show. During a PR crisis, being able to track shifts in public opinion minute by minute is absolutely critical. BrandMentions’ AI does this brilliantly, giving clear, real-time insight into how sentiment is evolving. It helps you react faster, adjust your messaging, and stay in control instead of guessing how the conversation is changing.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I wish there were more historical data options on the lower-tier plans.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring brand sentiment shifts in real time to catch potential PR issues early and prevent them from turning into full-blown crises.

 ### 31. Probably the most accurate data coverage.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yohanan A. | Trade Marketing Analyst, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

I have tried a few ''big name'' social listening tools, but they always missed mentions on smaller blogs or specific forums.
Brandmentions seems to catch everything. The depth of the web crawling is impressive. I actually find out about conversations as they happen, not three days later.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

You should set up ''required Keyword'' properly so you won't spend a lot of time filtering through noise. The team can help out with that.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us keep a pulse on brand sentiment across the entire web, not just the major social networks.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Catching those conversations on smaller blogs and forums is exactly what we aim for. :)
Thanks for trusting us to keep your brand's pulse steady across the entire web!

 ### 32. Clear, Real-Time Alerts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kinjal P. | Social Media Analyst, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

I absolutely love the notification system. I get instant alert via email or directly in the app whenever someone mentions our brand. The interface is intuitive, and you don't need to be a marketing expert to use it.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

Sometimes the alert can be repetitive if the same article is piicked up by several smaller sites, but it's better to find out twice than not at all

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us intervene quickly when a PR issues or a dissatified customer pops up, allowing us to handle it before the situation escalates.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> We’re all about making complex insights accessible to everyone. Thanks for the support and for sharing your feedback!

 ### 33. Powerful but not Overcomplicated

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reem A. | Customer Service Representative, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

I've tested quite a few monitoring tools in the last 5-6 years. Many are powerful, but also overly complicated Brandmentions hits a sweet spot The reporting engine is very strong. different report formats, filtering, segmentation, sentiment breakdowns, competitor comparison but the platform doesn't feel boated.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

There are so many features that at first I didn't use all of them. Maybe some guided tips would help new users discover everything faster.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidates monitoring analytics and reporting into one platform. Before we were using 2-3 separate tools.

 ### 34. Delivers Real-Time Insights without the fluff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nezha C. | Group Senior legal associate, Real Estate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

Most tools in this category are bloated with features nobody uses. BrandMentions is lean, fast, and focused. The "Easy Reporting" isn't just a marketing slogan; it actually works and outputs clean data. I appreciate the transparency of the tool and how it handles complex Boolean queries without breaking.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I found some typos in the documentation, I cannot pinpoint anything else :)

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Noise reduction. The internet is a loud place. This tool filters out the garbage and gives me the mentions that actually impact brand authority and bottom-line revenue.

 ### 35. Useful Tool for Brand Monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The dashboard is quite clear, and the tool seems useful for tracking brand mentions and online visibility in one place.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The pricing feels quite high for someone who only needed to explore the tool briefly, and some features were more advanced than what I needed.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrandMentions helps solve the problem of tracking online brand mentions across different channels. It can benefit me by making it easier to monitor brand visibility and understand what people are saying online.

 ### 36. Better Marketing Decisions Through Real time Brand Insight

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilayda T. | Marketing Manager, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

Understanding how campaigns resonate outside internal analytics tools makes a significant difference. BrandMentions provides clear visibility into brand perception, audience sentiment, and competitor activity in one structured view. Messaging adjustments and timing decisions feel more informed rather than reactive.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

advanced keyword grouping requires careful setup to maintain precise tracking for specific campaigns.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relying only on paid performance metrics often leaves gaps in understanding overall perception. Broader monitoring insights support smarter budget allocation, improved positioning, and stronger reporting backed by real data.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thank you for the insightful feedback and for making us a part of your marketing toolkit! 💜

 ### 37. The Only Brand Monitoring Tool We Actually Use Daily

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arx J. | Founder, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

We're a digital agency managing multiple clients. Brandmentions replaced an older alerting tool, a manual workflow, and a basic spreadsheet process. Now we centralize mentions across web and social, tag mentions per client, and generate white label monthly reports. Results:70% less time spent on manual monitoring, and we detected one early brand crisis last quarter that we mitigated within 2 hours due to an alert. Favorite features: AI insights, sentiment over time, and scheduled reports. Support walked us through onboarding and custom queries. Highly recommend for teams needing reliable real-time coverage

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

Wish list: Bulk tagging improvements would have been better

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrandMentions helps us monitor our brand reputation in real time. Before, we'd find out about negative press a day late; now we get alerts within minutes. This has allowed us to respond faster, protect our brand image and even prevent small issues from turning into crises

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> We’re also glad you’ve found value in the AI insights, sentiment tracking, and scheduled reports, and it’s great to hear our support team made onboarding smooth and easy.

We truly appreciate your trust and recommendation, it means a lot to our whole team. 💙

 ### 38. Goes way past just “good” or “bad” vibes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian C. | Editor in Chief, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

We used to spend hours sifting through so-called “positive” mentions, only to find that many were actually people being sarcastic or expressing annoyance. BrandMentions has solved this problem for us. It filters out irrelevant content and delivers much clearer, more accurate sentiment analysis—information we can genuinely rely on when making decisions.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I would really like it if BrandMentions offered better integration with my phone.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrandMentions helps me solve several key business problems, especially around brand visibility and reputation management. It allows me to monitor online mentions of my brand across social media, news sites, blogs, and forums in real time. This helps me stay on top of public perception, quickly respond to both positive and negative mentions, and gain insights into how our brand is being discussed. It also helps with competitor analysis, tracking industry trends, and measuring the impact of marketing campaigns.

 ### 39. Effortless Social Monitoring with Smart, Automated Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruby D. | Customer Data Analyst, Publishing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The fact that I don't have to look at Facebook or Twitter manually anymore. BrandMentions and the AI takes the wheel and delivers the important stuff already neatly organized by sentiment. It’s like having a highly efficient, perpetually disgruntled intern who never takes a holiday

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The dashboard is occasionally too helpful with pop-up suggestions for new features. I appreciate the innovation, but sometimes I just want to check the data without a prompt for the next big thing. Too much innovation can be exhausting.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual keyword checking used to take up a lot of time. The benefit is simple: efficiency and peace of mind. My job got easier, and the data got better.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for choosing BrandMentions! 🚀

 ### 40. Robust, Unbiased Data Collection for Sociolinguistic Study

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Khamil A. | Senior Product Manager, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The unmatched breadth of data collection, particularly the success in scraping mentions from hard-to-access, low-API sites and forums. This provides a necessary unbiased corpus of data for our sociolinguistic analysis that major social-only monitoring tools simply cannot replicate.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I require extremely large API calls for raw data export, and while the platform delivers, the process for scheduling these massive data dumps could be slightly more integrated into the standard UI. This is purely a high-volume usage constraint.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of data availability in non-traditional media is addressed by providing complete, reliable datasets. The benefit is the ability to conduct longitudinal, academically sound studies on brand perception with confidence in both consistency and coverage.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thank you for the great review and thanks for being with us! 😊

 ### 41. Unmatched data depth, finds what other miss

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clinton O. | Junior project coordinator , Oil & Energy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

Many tool focus mainly on major social media platforms while Brandmentions also covers deep-web sources such as forums, niche blogs, and local news sites. This broader coverage provides more comprehensive data then other tools we've used.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

If a brand name is also a common word, the initial data set can be large until exclusions are configured appropriately.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps address ''blind spots'' in monitoring previously, we were concerned about discussion starting on smaller forums now we can see those conversations as they begin.

 ### 42. Instant Real-Time Alerts That Keep Us Informed and Ready to Respond

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nain D. | Education Coordinator, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

I receive instant alerts whenever our institution is mentioned on platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter, which helps me react quickly to feedback, announcements, or emerging concerns. Real-time updates make it easier to stay informed and coordinate responses without constantly checking each platform manually.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I occasionally refine alert settings to avoid notifications that are not immediately relevant.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I reduce delays in identifying reputation-related signals across professional and social networks, improving response speed, strengthening communication efforts, and supporting better institutional decision-making.

 ### 43. Easy-to-Navigate Dashboard with Solid Real-Time Monitoring and Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ioannis A. | Human Resources Generalist, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

Interface is easy to navigate. I manage this for 3 different clients and the dashboard makes it easy to switch between them. Real time monitoring is solid and the reports save me from having to make manual spreadsheets.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I personally don't like their brand color - purple, but it's a personal thing.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

my clients want to know when they are mentioned online but dont have time to look. I set this up and it does the work for me.

 ### 44. the insights you get are remarkably accurate and reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Engels T. | Customer Success Manager, Human Resources, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

I’ve tried a few platforms before, but I stayed with BrandMentions because it’s fast, accurate, and makes my work so much easier. What I like most about BrandMentions is how easy it is to use compared to other tools. There’s no confusing setup or messy dashboard. You just add your brand or a competitor, and it takes care of everything. It even gives keyword and hashtag ideas, finds social profiles automatically, and starts tracking right away. The data is really complete too it finds mentions other tools completely miss.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I wish the alert emails included a bit more information and details

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My main goal was to track certain hashtags in real time and create reports showing how they grow across different platforms. I needed separate reports for each platform and hashtag. The alerts help a lot because they let me react quickly whenever something important happens.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> Thank you so much for your kind words, we’re so happy to hear that BrandMentions has made your work easier and more efficient! Knowing that you find our insights accurate and reliable means a lot to us. 💬✨

 ### 45. Real-Time Alerts and Actionable Insights That Keep Us Ahead

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew W. | Chief Marketing Officer, Defense & Space, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

Real time alerts!! In e-comm, a bad review on a forum can tank your sales in a day. BrandMentions lets us respond quickly and offer solutions publicly, which actually looks good to other potential customers. The insights are very actionable.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

It would be nice if it integrated directly with my helpdesk software, but the email alerts work for now.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding unlinked mentions. We find blogs talking about us without linking, and we reach out to get those SEO backlinks.

 ### 46. Advanced brand monitoring for the data-obsessed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Minna M. | Business Director, Digital Marketing & Analytics, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The API and the clear analytics, I love been able to see the reach of a mention . It's not just about who said something, but how many people saw it. The platform is effortless to set-up and the data is clean enough for my growth models.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

They are adding a lot of features and sometimes I want to keep up to all of them but I can't

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us identify which marketing channels are actually generating ''noise'' versus which one are just dead air.

 ### 47. Effortless Workflow and Lightning-Fast Navigation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marwa K. | Technical Support Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The layout just makes sense. I jump from alerts to full mention details without clicking through a bunch of screens. Daily checks are quick because everything loads fast and the workflow feels natural. Keeps me moving through my tasks without getting stuck.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

Pulling large historical exports takes a while, especially for multi-year data. It slows things down when I need everything compiled for quarterly reports.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to bounce between different tools anymore for tracking. Everything's in one place, so I'm not wasting time on manual checks across multiple platforms. The steady flow of new mentions helps me stay on top of things and respond faster when it matters.

 ### 48. Only Source of Truth for Our Brand’s Digital Health

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chelsea S. | Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

BrandMentions won us over with their fantastic features. It identifies mentions from locations that our old toolkit, which consists of Google Alerts and native platform notifications, completely missed, such as forums, blogs, and even podcasts. The system can correctly identify sentiment and it will not need to be checked continuously by a person.

Integration into our existing workflow was seamless. The daily digest that automatically fills a channel on Microsoft Teams keeps the whole team informed without inbox clutter. The one-click exports to Google Slides have cut my reporting time by 50%. Being able to monitor not only your brand but also the campaigns of competitors as well as the keywords your industry is targeting, all in one dashboard, has greatly improved efficiency.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The price is an investment, especially for an agency that might need to run several client brands. Second, we will see that the historical depth is not deep on the cheaper plan. I have noticed that the sentiment analysis is quite accurate. However, it does misinterpret sarcasm or a certain niche industry’s jargon once in a while. This requires a quick manual review, especially in case of critical reports.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It Inferred the ROI of a PR blast or a social campaign (formerly known as BrandMentions) manually. Now, we can see that the spikes in brand mentions and positive sentiment are from our campaigns. After we announced our product, we saw it get mentioned in over 1,200 places and we were able to show that to leadership.

Our reputation management is the primary use of it. Not too long ago, we discovered a fairly insignificant complaint from one of the customers on a review site that was starting to gain some traction. As we got to know of it on time, our customer service team managed to contain the issue before it escalated. Therefore, it turned into a positive case study instead.

Every marketing leader that needs to quantify value and protect brand equity needs this tool.

**Official Response from Cornelia Cozmiuc:**

> We really appreciate you taking the time to share such a detailed perspective. thank you for trusting BrandMentions to be your “source of truth.” 💙

 ### 49. Security Powerhouse for Monitoring and Reputation from the IT Stack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophia L. | IT Manager, Food & Beverages, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

On the IT side of things, BrandMentions is strong in terms of security and administrative authority. Rolling out SSO to our marketing team was a breeze and granular user roles make controlling data access easy. API is well documented and allowed my team to build a custom integration with our SIEM relatively easy given the specific needs of our security policy.

Pros This tool - its reliability is the top. We now have had zero seconds of downtime, and the data pipeline is solid. It integrates seamlessly with our current ecosystem, and I don’t have to get my team to install or maintain it locally (web-based interface). When we did have initial questions about our API, their support team were also understanding of our needs as developers and gave us clear, technical answers that got everything sorted.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

The first time the data processing runs and we pull historical data as part of account setup it places a fairly large demand on our network bandwidth for several hours, which honestly I'm not sure we'd adequately planned for. The model per-user can become costly if you have a big team as it is one of our biggest items in the SaaS budget. Though the dashboard is robust, some of the very detailed options for layer filtering was a bit more complicated and our marketing team had to reach out to us on how to do that in the beginning.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We bought BrandMentions for security reasons: to keep an eye out for when our data gets leaked, credentials stolen and phishing sites created using our brand name. It is proving invaluable: It alone has already flagged three potential security issues within the first two months that we, otherwise, would have learned about too late.

By the way, beyond security, we have made this a crucial part for our IT governance overall. We rely on sentiment scores and mention volume to estimate the effect of system outages or updates. If, for example, there’s an ERP glitch at our system, we can see the sort of instantaneous response on social media and (we can) begin to measure what the real business impact is from that- data points I never would have had before to create those reports going up to leadership. It isn’t just a marketing tool, it’s another valuable ear to the ground for the whole IT department; one that enables us to defend our brand's technical reputation before anything gets out of hand.

 ### 50. Truly User-Friendly UI with Robust Reporting for the Price

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edith M. | Project Manager, Shipbuilding, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BrandMentions?**

The user-friendly interface is actually user-friendly, not just "marketing-speak" friendly. It's rare to find a tool that balances deep data with a UI that doesn't give you a headache. The report generation is also very robust for the price point.

**What do you dislike about BrandMentions?**

I would love if they added a mobile app as well although understand that for this level of data is complicated.

**What problems is BrandMentions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps my clients understand that PR isn't just "luck", it's about monitoring and responding to conversations.
