1. As it is completely low-code platform, this thing sometimes creates a mess while building some complex solution, because at that time we need to use multiple boomi shapes for a single thing, like removing the duplicacy or sorting some records.

2. It doesn't provides the functionality to low-down certain components, only gives the features of adding permission who can edit or delete that, but anyone can view it. This thing sometime, not a good thing, because if we want to lock some processes or folder that only respective developer can access it, that can't be possible in boomi.

2. Boomi also provide us API management facility in which we can easily onboard our open API specification, and we can use use Boomi inbuilt developer portal for publishing our API's.

6. Boomi also provide us different AI functionalities.

The things are dislike about Boomi are-

1. The API gateway is not even at par with the competitors , let alone being better then them.

2. The K8s deployment of Boomi is quite complex.

The things i like about Boomi as an Integration platform are-

Boomi's interface is user-friendly and intuitive, allowing us to easily create data connections and integrate them into our data analysis processes. Managing a large number of connections is straightforward, and they can be refreshed on a regular basis without hassle.

Makes use of non-native connections using REST APIs are usually more complicated that when we would have using an app such as Postman for example. There is definitely room to improve to make this more intuitive.

Boomi has allowed me to bring value to my company by automating Ecommerce, DTC, B2B processes and data flow at TKG. Integration & Automation platform has been crucial to have data flow to the right places at the right time, with listeners providing near realtime service for our web orders coming from Salesforce. It works seamlessly with SSMS as well and we are exploring Master Data Hub to replace or SSIM packages and stored procedures. Boomi has some intricacies/inconsistencies that takes experience to nail out, like sometimes JSON and XML maps needing a reimport of the whole profile to modify a single field. Or a main process that holds several sub process, that sometimes which both main and sub process show up in process reporting, making it easier to debug and see executions, and sometimes only the main process showing up, making it difficult to drill down to that specific sub process execution. I'd like to see both main and sub processes in process reporting when s main one fires the sub. Even configuring it exactly as other main process that show both, sometimes the sub wont show up!
