Cold start—you must account for the runtime environment being spun up each time; for a large operation, this might lengthen runtime and, as a result, cost.

What problems is AWS Lambda solving and how is that benefiting you?

Setting up the server and installing everything we need for a certain project could take a long time. When it comes to offering "function as a service" for various programming languages, AWS Lambda overcomes this challenge.
