**What do you like best about Slalom?**

I appreciated Slalom's record of successful delivery and their ratings, which stood out and led to our selection. They helped us automate the sales process with our Pape Group operational companies, and their work on Quote Management, overall Salesforce org health, and security improvement was significant. All of Slalom's implemented solutions were quickly adopted by end users, which was impressive. I found their Agile Software development, including Scrum mastering, retrospective, and user acceptance testing, particularly valuable. The quality of their built solutions was a major highlight, and Salesforce adoption across the sales teams transitioned smoothly from manual workflows and spreadsheets.

**What do you dislike about Slalom?**

Pricing for their service was a bit high.

Great team and expertise, especially when you have a large team and are just starting to transition or migrate to Salesforce.

**What problems is Slalom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slalom helped us automate the sales process with Pape Group, improve quote management, Salesforce health, and security. Their solutions were quickly adopted, transitioning our team from slow delivery and manual workflows to efficient Salesforce processes.

**What do you like best about Slalom?**

I like how capable all of their employees are. They are all certified by our CRM company and are all very knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about Slalom?**

One of the pain points with Slalom is that while they are experts in CRM implementation, they are not necessarily presenting us with the industry standard options, but rather are trying to fit OOTB functionality into our business processes. I would much prefer if they were to work with us on refining our business processes.

**What problems is Slalom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slalom is helping us design and develop our new CRM system.

I would say a big yes in terms of salesforce implementation - they have great people to work with and very experience in the tool by itself.

**What problems is Slalom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been working with Slalom for over 8 months now, and they have been the best in implementation of salesforce, getting the right ideas in place.

More experienced people with advanced knowlegede in latest skill in all domain and languages.

More value driven work would be a plus, no major dislikes here.

High quality experts and no major resource constraints.
Flexible working and they have resource in all timezone.

Slalom did a great job in our data product. They have great people with quality experience.  Added more value to our data architecture.

**What do you like best about Slalom?**

His ability to rapidly bond with everyone and identify weak points. The staff is well-balanced and diversified, and they rapidly integrated into our organization; we thought they helped us see what we sometimes couldn't because we were too close to the difficulties! Your training or change management procedure was outstanding. The training sessions with different areas were outstanding, as was the subject presented. They also collaborate with our users to improve the user experience and conduct UAT testing. Their documentation is also excellent; they prepared a manifest and transfer PDF that we continue to use today.

**What do you dislike about Slalom?**

We are quite pleased with Slalom's work, which is why I have no "dislikes"; they are always efficient and communicative. I can't think of anything that neither I nor anybody else on my squad disliked.

**Recommendations to others considering Slalom:**

They are quite efficient, and I encourage them, but you must first conduct a thorough study to produce best practices for your implementations. I'd have a "ignition session" with Salesforce, get a leadership buy-in from my firm, and make sure you have internal advocates in the organization who are passionate about the improvements or technologies.

**What problems is Slalom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our CPQ and Salesforce transition went quite well! We discovered new methods to use Salesforce, CPQ, Advanced Approvals, and a variety of other products within the "box" that we had not anticipated. We hired them after interviewing two other suppliers to perform CPQ, but we learnt so much more that we ended up completing Lighting and other projects with them, such as PowerBI. Slalom assists with the setup of the Salesforce integration as well as the automation of marketing lead generation, qualifying, and conversion. Slalom assisted with system setup and provided excellent training to end users.

Their reps teach as we go. They are responsive and thorough

They can be kind of pricey. The sizing of projects for cost is not always consistent from rep to rep.

**What do you like best about Slalom?**

Their training or change management process was excellent. The way training sessions were held with different regions and the content delivered was excellent. They also coordinate with our users for a better experience and UAT testing.

**What do you dislike about Slalom?**

They did not learn what was already implemented with Halliburton and designed their engagement. This resulted in duplication of efforts and chaos/heart burns during the engagement.

**Recommendations to others considering Slalom:**

They are good, I can recommend but they need to make sure they perform good analysis upfront to come up with best practices for implementations.

**What problems is Slalom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slalom helps in setting up Salesforce Pardot integration and automating the marketing lead generation and qualifications and lead conversion. Slalom helped in providing implementation and a great training to help end users use the system

**What do you like best about Slalom?**

Project planning and management from start to finish. They identified areas of concern and planned to resolve each item.

Costs were a little higher than others in the space

Updating the look and improving the usability of SharePoint for our end users.  Post project user feedback has been very positive

**Describe the project or task Slalom helped with:**

CPQ and Salesforce Transformation at a decades old manufacturing company. The Salesforce org was 15 years old. Had been maintained by a Sales Leader and never been cleaned up. The Slalom Team of Derek and Kristin were flat out amazing-- humble teachers and doers. I was totally how they could clean things up and make it pretty all while teaching the teams for the future. They did all this while gathering requirements and pain points and rolling out new functionality that had been asked for and not "upselling".

**What do you like best about Slalom?**

Their ability to bond quickly with everyone and find pain points. The team was balanced and diverse and melted in quickly with our company -- we felt like they were "us" they joined us at lunch and BBQs !! Derek and Kristin we considered friends and they helped us see what we couldn't sometimes due to us being too close to the problems. Their documentation was incredible too, they built a manifest and handoff PDF we still use today. The style is one I have shown others at other companies.

**What do you dislike about Slalom?**

I don't have any "dislikes"-- Just wish their bosses let them do more :)  They are spot on all the time. I can't think of anything I did not like or anyone on my team did not like.

**Recommendations to others considering Slalom:**

I would conduct a "Ignite Session" with Salesforce- Have executive buy in from my company and make sure you have internal champions in the Org who really want the changes to occur or the tools. Transformation has to be wanted :)

**What problems is Slalom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our CPQ and Salesforce transformation was Stellar !! We found ways to use Salesforce, CPQ , Advanced Approvals and many other tools inside the "box" in ways we never imaged. They were hired, after looking at 2 other providers to do CPQ, but we learned so much more and we ended up doing Lighting and a few other projects with them like PowerBI.
