What do you like best about ApplicantStack?

ApplicantStack is the best way for tracking applicants, jobs, potential client statuses, etc. You have the flexibility to adjust ApplicantStack to work the way you need as well as their customer support to assist with any problems which are few and far between. What do you dislike about ApplicantStack?

There's not much to dislike about ApplicantStack, originally the appearance was a bit unappealing, but they've re-done the whole site and everything looks extremely modern and up to date now. If there's ever a problem, they very quickly accommodate and provide a solution. It is very difficult to find something negative to say about the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ApplicantStack solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're a very small third party recruiting firm. We've been able to grow with the use of ApplicantStack and properly keep our recruiters informed of driver statuses, hires, dates, etc. As the trucking industry has changed we've been able to adjust questions on our applications as well as add/remove questions, add more team members, etc. ApplicantStack has enabled us to roll with the punches. "Applicant Stack is so helpful."

What do you like best about ApplicantStack?

It is a great system to track applicants for all our open positions. We are a large program and often have multiple opening at a time. I also like how you can see that past jobs the applicant applied for. This helps me quickly go through and determine qualified or not. What do you dislike about ApplicantStack?

Your issue with the dropdown fields, have you tried collapsing all of the menu items to see if that saves you a step? You can then hover over the collapsed dropdown item and it will show you all of the fields in that group. If you need further assistance with this, please create a support ticket so we can send you screenshots of how to do this. I am thinking this will solve your issue!

"Excellent Platform"

What do you like best about ApplicantStack?

ApplicantStack allows for great customization and integrates well with job posting sites. The support staff is excellent and responsive. The platform is worth more than what they charge. Allows to track multiple positions and I can easily switch between companies. Great redesign of the platform recently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ApplicantStack?

No Mobile app currently. More Questionnaire Templates might be nice. I would like to see more reporting KPI in a dashboard. I would like to see more social media options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hiring Made Easy"

What do you like best about ApplicantStack?

The site is so easy to use. I get alerts as things happen. Making changes to my ads are so simple. Any time I have a question or need assistance, Jeff responds quickly and is always very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Applicant Stack is so user friendly, and it's look and feel is natural. I like that the information for each applicant is user friendly, and that you can log and see notes from different users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Did you know that you can compress those menu buttons on the side by selecting the two >> and this will hopefully appear less crowded? We need to make sure to have an option for all users. Some of our clients want to see all of the buttons and other prefer to view them as icons only. You can also choose not to have certain buttons on the candidate view table for example however, this would be a system-wide setting.

What do you like best about ApplicantStack?

ApplicantStack has a high level of customization that can meet your hiring needs. We have been able to create custom screening questions, weighted scoring, custom responses, and simplified our review process amongst multiple hiring managers. What do you dislike about ApplicantStack?

It does not have a lot of partner products that will integrate. You can always do a custom process with their open API, but it often is not a simple plugin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful tool for hiring"

What do you like best about ApplicantStack?

You can send emails though applicant stack to new hires with all the required paperwork attached. This has cut down our orientation time because new hires bring their paperwork with them. It also integrates with ClearCare so that new hire information is transferred over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ApplicantStack?

ClearCare integration is basic. Only transfers over name, address, and email. It would be great if it also transferred over references. There is a way to view applicants who have started, but not completed, and application. However, there is no way to move these applicants over to the candidates tab or add notes to their profile after the office staff has contacted them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Many of our clients have opted for the ClearCare integration using our API via their corporate entity. Most of the time, it will be up to the corporate entity as to which fields are being pulled. I also was informed that ClearCare is releasing an API sometime next year so perhaps that will be another option.

What do you like best about ApplicantStack?

I like the set stage feature that shows how candidates application progress in the hiring process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ApplicantStack?

I dislike the dispostion because it doesn't provide all scenarios of why you might not want to pick a candidate. I wish it had a blank line you could type in.

Also the note section I wish that showed on the main screen for the candidates instead of within the file on a whole other tab. If you make a note you have to hunt for it. It just doesn't seem easily accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Any administrator of the account has the ability to add other dispositions to your list. If you would prefer to have the field a free text box instead of a list of options, then you can do that as well. ApplicantStack is fully customizable. You can even add a new field below the list options to allow for both scenarios. Please contact support if you would like further information on how to set that up.

I will let our development team know about your concerns about the notes. You do have an option of adding a note field to the candidate profile if that would work for you. By default, the notes are stored in the candidate history tab.
