Integration with SAP ERP using connector working very nice, support is relative availble and professional. Cadency offers a streamlined, standardised way using workflow to control this process, making it far easier to manage and audit. Trintech website offers excellent webinars and training materials to support anyone with using the tool. Trintech team and professional services team are always incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their product. User requests for amendments and updates are considered as part of the design when creating a new version. **What do you dislike about Trintech?** The main limitation regarding the Certification tool is the limited and challenging reporting suite. Some issues with our User Defined fields have limited the business since the last upgrade. Additionally, some other functionality 'binders' to download our reconcilations won't be available until the next upgrade. Reporting isn't represented dynamically in charts or formatted so that it can be presented to senior leaders. There is still a lot of manual manipulation needed or Power BI dashboards which need building on the top of the manual downloads from Cadency. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cadency Certification ensures all our required balance sheet reconcilations are created, uploaded and approved every time they are required. Additionally the checks and balances ensured that all balance sheet accounts used had a reconciliation tied to them - making for great completness checks when it came to audit. Keeping to a timeline and the email reminders about reviews/recs being due was helpful. The system was easy to use and easy to implement. The 'binder' function was also helpful and made supplying documentation to audit formal and uniform. **What do you dislike about Trintech?** It was more time consuming for the users to input their recs and there was a big change management curve for reviewers to have to open individual links/tabs to see all the back up. Many users continued to do the recs 'their way" and just upload the back up as a single PDF which turned the system more into an electronic inbox than anything else (at an expensive price tag). We never certified the system for SOX so I feel we did not get to take full advantage of what it could have offered before we decided to change directions. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was helping us to solve our need to get everything in a single place, electronically, without all the paper and hand tick marking of reviewing the reconcilations. ### 32. At HPE, we are currently reconciling approximately 25k balance sheet accounts amounting to 1.5 Billion USD each month and Cadency is able to handle this huge data each month and provides a seamless user experience. Trintech support is fantastic and is on top of issues reported with the application. **What do you dislike about Trintech?** The Run now option in reporting in Cadency doesn't pull huge reports in foreground, however does pull huge reports in background. System configuration function is missing in current Cadency version which was available in historical versions and could allow admins to use certain features like increase system time out settings, Change reports database, change document repository to name a few. **What problems is Trintech solving and how is that benefiting you?** At HPE we reconcile complex balance sheet accounts and the ability to group the accounts at company code and account level makes it easier to reconcile accounts for a similar nature rather than reconciling them separately. The reports extracted from Cadency helps the user community to report accurate numbers to management and take steps to clear the open items in a timely manner. Management reporting in Cadency enables users to manage their workload efficiently. SOX controls are efficently handled through reports audit reports available in Cadency. After implementation the Cadency we have achieved great end user experience as the system is easy to use with number number of features it provides great visibility for the preparers and reviewers. Also, Cadency provides effective integration to SAP, which gives more control on the journals, reconciliations, data integration. Cadency has become lifeline of our day to day business tasks.
