**What do you like best about Acorn PLMS?**

The Team at Acorn is its greatest asset. They are always quick to respond and very helpful. The system is very user-friendly and intuitive. Once I started building courses I realized what an easy-to-use system it was! We will be integrating the capabilities features soon and I know that will be a game changer for the way we approach Succession Planning.

Really, there is nothing I dislike about the system thus far!

We need to deliver quick, and easily accessible training to a busy team. Acorn is a perfect platform that our users can easily navigate and get what they need without delay.  The capabilities features will help us unlock our internal potential for our future succession planning efforts.

**What do you like best about Acorn PLMS?**

The people who have been supporting us in the background, helping us get set up with a new learning platform. Geordie and Cody have been wonderful to meet and work with, and we have learned many opportunities to customize the platform to our unique needs and desires for our Early Learning community here in Dufferin County. Geordie has had so much patience and perseverance in working with us to ensure we understand the possible functionalities, and to navigate set-up in a way that works best for us and our users. It appears that our users will be able to easily transition to our new learning platform, which we will soon find out! Either way, we know that we will have the support to navigate any challenges that may arise in the process.  We are also excited to utilize some of the data features across the site. Thank you Geordie and the Acorn team.

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

The only possible dislike I can think of, is the language used across the site that has made learning navigation and site creation a little bit more challenging. A small trade off for all the good that appears to come from Acorn.

Ease of registration to our local events and learning opportunities for our early childhood educators, and keeping all of our early learning resources and opportunities together in one place. Providing opportunities for online communication through forums, and the possibility of creating cohorts or communities of practice virtually that can further support our in person encounters with the community.

The variety of learning options is the most valuable for me and my staff. Being able to increase our skills at our own pace and the customer support provided, especially by Sally has made our experiences stressless.

Acorn PLMS is solving any of the issues that may not be clear within a workplace. This is beneficial as being informed is vital for ensuring workplace protocols are clear.

**What do you like best about Acorn PLMS?**

Easy enough interfaces and uncluttered LMS learner pages can be set up. Setting up courses is very easy and intuitive. Customer support to help with issues has been fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

Not always intuitive to resolve certain functional requirements -- eg bulk enrolment of students needs to be completed via a TEnancy Mangement, Cohort completion link rather than within the course. Some other functions could work better. Eg the Wiki function could be very useful but it's not a great setup in its current form

**What problems is Acorn PLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ACORN PLMS helps us in providing industry needed courses to our members across a vast geographical area. This helps us reach our members and provide required services in a timely way.

ARENA are currently setting up their Learnhub platform. Acorn are assisting with many parts of this set-up, including home page look, supervisor set up, reporting, general information on how the system works if I can't find what I'm looking for in the extensive online help assist.

The Capabilities for sure! Being able to offer competency-based training and assessment is the way to go! Acorn PLMS is  easy to use, and the implementation process offers you support and help in every step.

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

The only downside is that you cannot create subfolders to better organize resources, but for the rest, it is THE PLMS any business needs!

Right now our annual evaluation process and the training are not explicitly connected. With Acorn, we will streamline the faculty annual evaluation process by using Acorn Assessment Campaigns. From the data collected there, we will be able to design and offer professional development to fill the gaps found. All in one LMS!

Acorn has an awesome support team that help us with our questions and give us direction and clarity around how can align our processees with their product.  Their product is intutivie and their support hub is very well set up and is a perfect go to place to find answers to questions as well. The reports are also very well set up and we are enjoying our journey with Acorn.

I cannot think of anything that we dislike.

We are able to house courses in Acorn that we will be selling to our association members. 
It is awesome how we can embed SCORM courses in the platform and it is super easy to set up courses/workflows in Acorn.
Their reporting is also well set up and gives us the key info we need. 
They have a range of features and we have been really enjoying our experience.

Straight forward to use navigate (even as an administrator), customer support are generally very responsive when I have any queries.

As a new user of LMS systems in the Government space, Acorn has been a user-friendly and relatively intuitive product. The support from the team is great and there are plenty of online help guides to continually improve your own offering. And I know we're just scratching the surface!

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

At times, there was a little lack of polish with the product not quite doing what was expected, then troubleshooting where the issue stems from was not straight foward.

Acorn is allowing our regular programming of online and live learning opportunities, but is also enabling us to bring all training into one space. This is ensuring we can keep track of what training needs there are, how to meet them and what else we might need to offer.

No downsides at all, design is not one of the easiest to do but Jordie has really stepped up to make us successful in meeting our timeline.

**What do you like best about Acorn PLMS?**

There is so much to like. I think going right back to the basics of what we all want a LMS to do, it does those things well. Reduced clicks, simple administration, easy reporting. I find some of the LMS providers a lot of marketing talk, but Acorn really backs it up with an exemplary platform. We get a lot from their multi-tenancy functionality, the best I have seen in the market.

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

Their catalogues isn't as intuitive as the rest of the platform, I believe the new version is due to be released next month so can't wait to see that. But other than that, nothing major.

**What problems is Acorn PLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the staffing industry we have a mix of internal and external employees, as well as training candidates as part of academies. We also need to stay on top of employee legislation. Acorn enables all these way beyond our expectations of a LMS.

**What do you like best about Acorn PLMS?**

When the system was set up, we could enter our training programs and commence people immediately. The system was easy to use as an administrator and very simple for users.

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

I found sometimes that I would enroll a student in a specific training package and then would later discover that the same student is now enrolled in other training packages they were not enrolled in - and I was the only person enrolling our students.

Large volume of student movements through the LMS as the same time so it was able to handle a large volume of interactions from hundreds of students at various stages of training with no issues at all.

Acorn is intuitive and easy to use. I've been very impressed with the quality and responsiveness of the support received. The team has also worked hard to enhance the product in recent years and I'm sure this will continue.

Some of the administrator functionality is not as intuitive as I would like and could do with some streamlining. But I'm sure this will improve over time.

**What do you like best about Acorn PLMS?**

User-friendly interface, and easy for us to use as administrators. Great training and support from Acorn LMS. Lots of integrations from other course providers, or uploading an existing SCORM.

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

We would like more ability to change the format of the emails that get sent from the system, but in fairness, it works well as it is. Otherwise, it has everything we require.

**Recommendations to others considering Acorn PLMS:**

If you are looking for an easy to set-up, user-friendly system then Acorn LMS is for you. One of our employees has used another LMS in a previous role and said this is one of the best he has used.

**What problems is Acorn PLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a secure LMS to host our Security Awareness Training, that would enable us to easily manage annual compliance with little input. Acorn LMS does this for us and more, and we are now looking into ways to improve employee/consultant engagement by providing other useful training topics.

The platform is comprehensive yet simple to use!  An LMS for "non-tech" administrators ensures easy admin management that is time effective and seamless, resulting in a user-friendly end-user experience. 
The support is second to none!

While we are yet to use the full training management opportunities, at this stage, we haven't found too much we dislike

Acorn LMS is the first LMS here at Council, so the platform adequately addresses gaps in our training delivery regarding content and accessibility.

**What do you like best about Acorn PLMS?**

That they have built a LMS for customer education and success, and they get the profession. Clearly it works well having a peer on the other end offering expcetional support.

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

At the time they didn't have a CRM integration for us, but to be fair to them it took them two working days to build a great two way integration.

**What problems is Acorn PLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Given I lead customer success, we tasked the new LMS provider with enabling us to improve customer life time value, support us in identifying at risk customers and to ensure customer user adoption was as high as could be. I'm pleased with their performance over the last few years, and they have certainly contributed to our exception results.

Previously, we have found that the platform wasnt as user-friendly; however, over the last 6-12 months, we have noticed ACORN has become more user-friendly, not only for content creators but also for the users

**What do you like best about Acorn PLMS?**

The platform is extremely user-friendly, fully customisable and allows you to create a variety of learning opportunities. One of the key features that I find to be most useful is the ability to build reports and pull comprehensive sets of data. The platform also integrates with a variety of other platforms via an API function. The team at pursuit have made really made the platform with the user in mind and it's so easy to make the platform your own and make it work for whatever learning activities you need your business to run.

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

Everything works very well, whenever I have an issue the team has tried their best to turn my problem into a solution. If I could say what I dislike about the platform it would probably be the survey tool.

**What problems is Acorn PLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The team is currently building a custom dashboard for me and additional email templates that will help make my LMS administrative team's job easier. I appreciate getting monthly updates that outline their planned upgrades to the portal and new functionality which occurs monthly. It helps you understand what new capabilities the system will have and how it can improve your experience in using the platform.

**What do you like best about Acorn PLMS?**

Acorn is a very intuitive, user-friendly product.  As an Admin user, it is easy to make changes to our platform and ensure it works for our clients and us.  The support provided to us has been very high quality - responsive, professional, courteous and friendly!  The Acorn platform has allowed us to develop training products that are professional and useful.

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

We are still in the early days of using Acorn and so far, haven't really found anything that we don't like.  While no product is ever perfect, we are always presented with options when we ask for things and a solution is always found.

We are developing a suite of training materials for our clients and Acorn is providing a professional and easy-to-use platform to host the products.

**What do you like best about Acorn PLMS?**

For our business, the option to have multiple tenancies makes the world of difference. The ability to have different branding, content and administrators makes it so easy for us to customise for maximum impact and ease of delivery to our employees.

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

Loading the content for a course can be a bit clunky given the way it system is structured. You need to know to go into certain settings rather than it being a step-by-step process from start to finish. It leaves room for errors by the person setting it up. There are so many options to make it suit the needs of the business but that can sometimes be overwhelming until you get the hang of it.

**Recommendations to others considering Acorn PLMS:**

I would recommend it to businesses with users over 100 (or expecting to grow over 100). It really shows the full potential if you need multiple tenancies to cater or different businesses. there are constant improvements being made which shows the product is just going to keep getting better.

**What problems is Acorn PLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't have any way to track our employee training and compliance before getting the Acorn LMS. We also didn't have anywhere to store forms/templates and other employee shared information. We now have those 2 systems in one.

As an admin, I use this platform for reporting purposes. I have always found it user friendly, intuitive and accommodating. We have constantly received positive feedback about this new platform by other staff members.

**What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?**

IT would be useful to have some tutorials for beginners on how to use the administrative functions of LMS. Without being guided through, it might be difficult to learn without being guided. However, it is quite intuiative so it's not hard to figure out.
