What do you like best about Kinsta?

Of all the things Kinsta does well, what we like best is the complete peace of mind it gives us. The performance is outstanding, with fast load times and rock-solid stability across all our WordPress sites, even during traffic spikes. But beyond speed, it’s the combination of services, support, and usability that really stands out.

The support team is truly unmatched. Every time we’ve reached out, we’ve received fast, clear, and expert help from people who genuinely understand WordPress at a deep technical level. Problems are solved efficiently, and we often get proactive advice that helps improve our sites rather than just fix the immediate issue.

We also love the MyKinsta dashboard. The UX/UI is exceptionally well designed—clean, intuitive, and powerful without being overwhelming. Managing backups, staging environments, domains, and performance tools is effortless, which saves us a huge amount of time.

What do you dislike about Kinsta?

Overall, there is very little to dislike about Kinsta, but if we had to point out one area, it would be the resource allocation limits. For growing websites, the caps on visits, storage, and certain resources can sometimes feel a bit restrictive, especially during periods of rapid growth or unexpected traffic spikes.

That said, this is more of a planning consideration than a flaw in the service itself. The limits are clearly defined, and Kinsta provides transparent monitoring tools that make it easy to track usage and scale when needed. While we occasionally wish there were a bit more flexibility built into the base plans, the performance, reliability, support, and overall quality of the platform more than make up for it. What do you like best about Kinsta?

The platform genuinely feels like it was built by developers, for developers. The MyKinsta dashboard is clean, no-nonsense, and gives me immediate access to the tools I actually need (SSH, staging, etc.) without the bloat.

The standout feature, however, is the support. The chat is incredibly fast—I'm usually talking to a real human within a minute or two—and they are actual engineers who can solve complex technical issues, not just support agents reading from a script. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kinsta?

While the platform is generally great, the server-side caching can sometimes be overly aggressive. I’ve run into 'sticky' caching issues where changes don't reflect immediately during development, which can be frustrating to debug.

Also, regarding support: while they are very fast to respond, I have had a few complex cases where I had to go back and forth with multiple agents to get to the bottom of it. What do you like best about Kinsta?

I was having trouble trying to find a hosting service that suited the size of our large non-for-profit website, at a reasonable cost. Kinsta offer a non-profit discount and along with that, their instant replies and good service have been fantastic. Plus the actual hosting service - our site is fast!

Love it and the backend too is easy to use.

What do you like best about Kinsta?

My quest in choosing a dedicated WP hosting was between Kinsta and WP Engine. Kinsta had a better price and also offered free malware cleaning for free and that was such a great deal. I have been with Kinsta for about two years, and my experience has been very great.I love the peace of mind with their daily backups, staging site (+daily backup) - so what ever might happen, I can revert back to a day before and save my day. What do you like best about Kinsta?

Kinsta does 3 things better than most hosts, and they matter in real life, not in marketing slides.

First, speed that is actually measurable. Google Cloud infrastructure, server-level caching, clean PHP stack. You feel it in Core Web Vitals, not just in a GTmetrix screenshot. For SEO and conversion, that’s concrete.

Second, operational serenity. Automatic backups, one-click staging, painless restores, predictable updates. You spend your time building and optimising, not babysitting servers or chasing support tickets.

Third, support that speaks WordPress fluently. Real engineers, fast responses, no script-reading. When something breaks, you get an answer, not a tutorial link.

Bonus point: no bullshit pricing tricks. What’s included is included. No surprise add-ons for basics like security or performance.

In short: Kinsta removes friction. And in digital projects, removing friction is often more valuable than adding features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kinsta?

First, the price. Kinsta is premium, and it shows on the invoice. For small sites or low-traffic projects, it can feel oversized. You’re paying for headroom and reliability, even if you don’t always need both.

Second, flexibility by design. It’s a managed environment, which is great… until you want to do something non-standard. No root access, limited server-side customisation, some plugins or workflows simply don’t fit. Power users may feel slightly fenced in.

Third, email is intentionally out of scope. No native hosting of emails, no SMTP bundled. Rational choice technically, but it adds one more brick to assemble for less mature setups.

Finally, traffic limits are strict. Performance stays excellent, but exceeding plan limits costs money quickly. That forces discipline, which is healthy, but not always comfortable.

Be me. A designer and marketer with a technical background, but by no means a hosting or IT professional. But the tools that Kinsta provides out of the box enable me to be a full blown, white-labeled hosting provider. And when something is just too technical, too out of reach for me, their support team ALWAYS has a solution. Kinsta is too good. Worth every dime. Please don't change. The ONLY thing I don't like about Kinsta is that they don't offer MongoDB out of the box on their app hosting. I need a service that will let me deploy Form.io (requires MongoDB). What do you like best about Kinsta?

There are lots of wordpress hosting options, but inevitably wordpress is complicated and breaks. In my experience with Kinsta, anytime I have a problem i can get help immediately and within minutes they are always able to solve the problem. Its not like talking to customer support..
