The 1:1 mailing works well and ensures messages actually reach the inbox, which is definitely a strength compared to other platforms. **What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?** The platform feels extremely outdated and not designed for companies working in B2B or SaaS. You cannot log manual actions within deals, deals can’t be tagged (so if you sell different products to the same lead, you’re forced to create multiple deals instead of tracking a single relationship), and there’s no data enrichment—you need to manually search and update contact information. Automations are very limited, pipelines are antiquated, and overall processes are unnecessarily clunky. It makes the platform frustrating for anything beyond very basic use. **What problems is ActiveCampaign solving and how is that benefiting you?** To be honest, ActiveCampaign is not solving most of my problems. The only real benefit I get is reliable email deliverability within automations, which ensures that messages reach prospects. It also seamlessly integrates with payment platforms like paypal, square and stripe. **What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?** It is the MOST expensive CRM I have found out there, I wish it wasn't so pricey, but I stay with it because of the simplicity it affords you in connecting and making things work "automatically" plus I hate Zapier and other platforms where it takes 2-3 steps to connect something, as something ALWAYS breaks. **What problems is ActiveCampaign solving and how is that benefiting you?** When someone signs up on my website (Wordpress) or buys one of my products (square, shopify, thinkific) everything can be automated. The best feature, my quiz that is hosted on jotform is submitted and beautifully connects an automated email series to the person show submitted the quiz! It's popular and has a good knowledge base, as well as ready-made automation recipes, which really helps with the learning curve. It does take some time to figure out more optimal ways to leverage contact lists and tags and to figure out segmentation, but once you do it, you begin to see the ROI. **What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?** The biggest concern is the major increase in prices over the past year. This makes me concider migrating to another, less expensive platform. Also, if you start with the lowest plan, a year later they will push you to upgrade with no option to stay with the entry plan. So you either pay more or you're out - and the cost spike is significant! Over the past year, there have also been multiple times when ActiveCampaign would just freeze and stay unaccessible for a while. This wasn't the case before. Some features are easier than others, and there's a lot to the platform. Lots of automations and tools, easy to use CRM, solid CMS for designing emails. Easily integrated into our website with forms. Our site uses Joomla CMS, which is a little tricky and not one of the main platforms that ActiveCampaign has an API for. But the script worked perfectly with no issue once copied and pasted into HTML. **What do you dislike about ActiveCampaign?** There is a learning curve around the automations and processes. CRM is fairly basic, which is not really a knock, but more of an observation. It's not as in depth as say Hubspot, Salesforce, etc., but again not necessiarily a bad thing. There are some limitations to automations and there are other "add/ons" you may need to purchase, but the standard "out of box" tools are usually plenty. **What problems is ActiveCampaign solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a small sales and marketing team, so this allows us to automate some processes for top of funnel engagement and help sort out quality leads versus those who are just kicking tires. This also allows us to create personalization within our emails so even though they are automated it feels more like a 1 to 1 email and not just copy and paste. There should be faster and simpler Italian support. 2. Not being able to use a segment that updates automatically as a trigger is a limitation. It's a shame, because to insert the contacts present in a segment into an automation, it must be done manually. 3. It would be fantastic if ActiveCampaign could integrate directly with platforms like Trustpilot, without having to resort to Zapier. I believe that making these integrations simpler would greatly improve the user experience, but unfortunately, this doesn't happen... for now! 4. It is not possible to set a default font and style for all emails; each time, it must be selected manually during creation. 5. When a list is deleted, the emails sent to that list should not be deleted, in order to maintain a history (on AC) of the communications sent. 6.
