I also feel like there are still a lot of nooks and crannies in the tool that I haven’t explored yet, or that I’m not fully utilizing. We run a lot of niche campaigns so doing keyword research and getting recommendations on how we can expand the reach of content has been really helpful. We recently launched a new website as well so it's coming time to optimize some pages and their content to make sure it aligns with search intent. The main limitation for us is that the AI search environment is changing quickly, so the information can require some interpretation before it becomes useful for a large retail organization. I’d like more ways to group and filter Brand Mention Tracking results by market, product category, and customer intent. One challenge we wanted to address was understanding how people discover MR D.I.Y. when they are asking AI tools for product ideas, home-improvement advice, or retail recommendations rather than searching directly for our brand.

Brand Mention Tracking gives us a more consistent way to monitor that. We can define relevant prompts and see which questions lead to an MR D.I.Y. mention, as well as identify areas where other retailers are being surfaced instead.

It would be incredible if Birdeye could feed updated information back into our scheduling software. For example, if an email bounces back as non-deliverable, I’d love for it to be flagged or marked in some way so our team knows to update it the next time we interact with that client.

The only other thing I haven’t loved is that, when we were interested in adding mass texting capabilities, we discovered our initial integration wasn’t sufficient. We tried to update our integration using an SFTP file transfer; however, there wasn’t a quick or simple way to filter the necessary data from our software into the correct format to support further integration. Birdeye has given our seven locations the ability to consolidate social media, email campaigns, review requests, and online inquiries/leads in one place. It saves us hours each week by automating review requests nightly, letting us create social media posts and schedule them across multiple platforms for all locations at once, and enabling us to communicate with online inquiries/leads in real time. There is only one missing item right now that has been a friction point for us. As that becomes an increasingly important part of the job, it would be valuable to know where SiteGuru stands on that front.

The other thing I'd like to see is more flexibility around brand name filtering. Right now it's capped at three variations, which isn't always enough when a brand is referenced in multiple ways across the web.
