**What do you like best about Whelp?**

Whelp seems to be unique in its ability to create a consolidated inbox for all of our social media messaging channels.   It also allowed us to create canned answers for common questions, but we strive to connect our customers to a live human agent quickly.  Customer support has always been very responsive and they company is nimble enough that they have sometimes implemented improvements based on our suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Whelp?**

Automatic detection of when a call is being answered could use some improvement.  We currently require a manual step to declare that a human is in the loop or the scripting might inadvertently tell the customer that all agents are busy even though the conversation is ongoing.

**What problems is Whelp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a multi-branch public library system with numerous social media channels.   Ensuring that all of these are continuously monitored for incoming questions was hit-and-miss prior to Whelp.   We would sometimes leave time-sensitive questions unanswered for many days because the staff member assigned to social media for a particular location was not on duty during the time period.

**What do you like best about Whelp?**

We tried Whelp as a way to bring all of our customer communication (email, WhatsApp, live chat, SMS) into one place. I really like the idea of having a single inbox and the AI features that can handle a good portion of repetitive questions. It definitely has the potential to save time and keep the team more organized.
That said, the user interface feels a bit clunky compared to other tools we’ve used. Onboarding took longer than expected and some of the integrations weren’t as smooth as I’d hoped. For small teams, the pricing is fair, but if you’re used to polished tools like Zendesk or Freshdesk, you’ll probably notice the difference.

UI could be more intuitive but setup is very handy
