There is a good balance of depth of content and control of it for the travel agent, without being overly complex. **What do you dislike about Tourwriter?** Tour map feature is poor, you can't upload clients documents to the tool, and opaque decision-making around improvements of the tool despite requests **What problems is Tourwriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to have all supplier info and rates and clients details in one place, put together quick proposal that look very attractive and deal with bookings partly through it. So it allows us to save time on all these aspects. ### 2. It works really well as far as putting various elements together and keeping track of them. I appreciate that they're constantly improving and updating the service, which helps in putting trips together more quickly by taking elements and assembling them efficiently. **What do you dislike about Tourwriter?** The design of the client facing plans seems a little dated, and the image quality is very low. It does not allow for us to use very sharp, beautiful images or make the presentations seem on-brand. They claim it's for loading reasons, but other platforms manage high-quality images without issues. We also find it hard that Tourwriter does not integrate with our CRM. **What problems is Tourwriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Tourwriter to organize my business by designing tailor-made trips, managing costs, and tracking suppliers. Scalability – Works well whether you’re a solo operator or growing into a larger team. **What do you dislike about Tourwriter?** Steeper Learning Curve – Because it’s feature-rich, it can feel overwhelming at first and requires some setup time. However Jess and the team were amazing as holding my hand and showing how impressive the system is. Once you have the hang of it your off! **What problems is Tourwriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quick turnaround time for proposals. Allowing us to get a head start against other competitors. This came to light last week after a client had reach out to 5 companies, we were the first to send a full detailed proposal and itinerary. ### 4. After going over different options, they were my best fit and I am very pleased working with them. All the improvements made to the software are great and they keep informing us about new features, etc. Thanks to them, my business is growing! let yours grow as well! **What do you dislike about Tourwriter?** No complaints at all, they are very supportive, and their care team is excellent! **What problems is Tourwriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** I would not use the word "problems," I will say opportunities for improvement. I love that you can email suppliers directly from the software and confirmation comes back into the system so you can know exactly what the status of each activity/stage of the itinerary is at. The software presents a clean, clear and professional looking final product that you can send to clients and all the T&C's etc are included. **What do you dislike about Tourwriter?** It takes some time to input all the suppliers, but they all go into a larger database so in some cases the product/activity/accommodation may already be in the system. There is an upfront time cost in learning the various nuances of the software but once you've got that sorted its good times! **What problems is Tourwriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking the status of every part of a complex itinerary is not easy. Tourwriter manages this all within the software. Enables well presented easy to build/alter itineraries that otherwise would be a real hassle in another format e.g. word doc. ### 6. Sending the booking request to the vendors is now a process that only takes a minute. Before TourWriter it was a very long process and there was a great potential for human errors. They are always willing to talk about a problem that may come up and offer a variety of solutions. This allows us to decide which solution is best for our company. They have great people working for them who really take the time to listen and explain and never seem to tire of our many questions! Our booking process has become very streamlined and we are now able to hire and train new sales agents since TourWriter is easy to learn and use. We have just completed the set up for our accounting module and plan to roll out the Groups module in the fourth quarter. **What do you dislike about Tourwriter?** If TourWriter had the ability to assign a task to a co-worker then it would be perfect! We would then be able to get rid of the steps we have to add to Asana for each booking we process. Currently, the tasks in the to do list can only be set up for the person assigned to the booking. But we have many team members doing differnt tasks on each booking, so if we could assign them to the person responsible, then we would not have to go outside of TourWriter to do anything. **Recommendations to others considering Tourwriter:** You need to give a lot of thought to how your itineraries work to be able to automate them.The largest benefit has been the dramatic reduction in labor hours needed to produce a finalized itinerary. Strongly recommended. **What problems is Tourwriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Better workflow. Easier to train,cross train. All of my staff can see what has been sold or quoted so nor more confused sales agents trying to figure out what another agent quoted or booked.
