What I appreciate most about TherapyNotes is how intuitive and user-friendly the system is. Their customer service team is exceptional—always responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive. The billing structure is easy to understand, even for those new to private practice, and the abundance of tutorials helps me stay current with new features and best practices. I also value how responsive they are to provider feedback. When I’ve suggested improvements, they’ve not only listened but sometimes rolled out updates shortly after—often accompanied by a helpful blog post. It’s clear they’re invested in supporting clinicians, and I’m truly glad to be partnered with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there’s very little I dislike about TherapyNotes. If anything, I’d say that in their effort to stay current and meet the needs of a wide range of therapists, some updates can occasionally add extra steps to our workflow. One feature I would love to see improved is the messaging system. While I appreciate the ability to message clients individually, it would be incredibly helpful to have a group messaging option. This would allow practices like mine to send announcements—such as office closures or holiday reminders—to all clients at once. I’ve shared this feedback with them, and knowing how responsive they are, I’m hopeful it’s something they’ll consider. Regardless, I’m still very happy to have TherapyNotes as part of my practice.
