"Easy Interactive Polls and Q&A, but Limited Compliance Controls and Deep Analytics"
What do you like best about Slido?

The best thing about Slido is how easily it makes a passive experience an interactive one. With live polls, Q&A session, quizzes, and word clouds, participation becomes easier than ever for users in any scenario, be it a meeting, a training session, or a bigger event. It ensures high participation rates when there may be reluctance to participate.

An important advantage offered by Slido is the simplicity of use and integration with various tools such as PowerPoint and Webex. Interactions can be set up quickly, and the participants need not download anything before using it, which takes away the burden from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

The first weakness of Slido lies in the fact that whereas it offers a good solution for basic engagement, it might be too constrained when applied to regulated areas like healthtech or fintech. In particular, while organizing some sessions related to patient or finance operations, there might be the necessity to implement a more sophisticated mechanism of data management, control over the anonymity settings, and other compliance features.

Another weak point associated with the tool is connected to its flexibility and level of analysis. Indeed, although it is rather user-friendly in terms of polls and Q&A, it becomes too constrictive when using Slido for some specific purposes. For example, the analytics are helpful on the whole, but lack the required level of detail that would allow analyzing the participants' behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super easy to use, highly recommended for quiz, competitions & L&D's."
What do you like best about Slido?

I really like Slido's enhanced integration with platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, making engagement during virtual events easier. The improved analytics dashboard provides valuable insights into audience participation, and the expanded custom branding options allow for a more professional look. Additionally, the new interactive polls and quizzes make participation more fun. Overall, these updates significantly enhance the experience for both organizers and attendees! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

Slido is effective but can improve by enhancing customization, expanding integrations, and offering better analytics. Adding offline functionality, improving the mobile experience, and including gamification would increase participation. Better multi-language support and more poll options could also boost engagement. These changes could significantly enhance Slido. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Interactive Presentations with Ease"
What do you like best about Slido?

I like using Slido because it creates a sort of interactivity with the audience that everyone loves and appreciates. It gives me insight directly about what the audience understands and thinks. The interactivity part is really amazing, allowing me to create a baseline understanding by making the audience vote throughout the presentation, and the results showing up on the slides are impressive. I find the setup really easy, as I can install the add-ons in PowerPoint, connect it with my browser and account seamlessly, and see templates and voting results in my slides directly. It's been an amazing experience, and the audience loves it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

I would really like to see Slido in Canva, and their pricing model need to be adjusted. In addition to that, I want them to be like Quizlet or something like that to maybe enable some quizzes, not only voting or interaction. I maybe want them to have a quiz inside my PowerPoint and to share them the results and the correct answers after the lecture has ended to their emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Results with an Excellent UI allows Presentations with Real-Time feedback using a QR code"
What do you like best about Slido?

Very easy to achieve good results with very little effort. The User Interface is excellent and clearly shows the various types of interactions available. The presentation mode with QR code really works in real time with an audience using mobile phones. I really appreciate that the Free mode does actually work with a larger audience as it allows to test real functionality. This also separates Slido from the competition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

It could provide more options to display results, e.g. pie charts, donut charts. It would be nice to have integration with other Office suites such as OpenOffice/LibreOffice Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Standout Q&A Upvoting and Moderation, with a Clean Mobile Experience"
What do you like best about Slido?

The Q&A upvoting and moderation queue is the standout feature for us. It lets employees ask sensitive questions anonymously while preventing the loudest voice from dominating the town hall. I also appreciate how clean the participant view looks on mobile devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

The analytics export is fairly basic and requires manual cleanup in Excel before sharing with leadership. I also find the user limit on the lower tier plans gets restrictive during company-wide meetings. The event link tends to expire too quickly for those catching up on recordings. "Engaging Classroom That Work Great with Google Slides"
What do you like best about Slido?

In the teaching profession, I find Slido has useful features, such as the whole-class quiz, which gives instant responses back to a group of students. I have used four of the available features, including the word cloud, and this was particularly effective in junior classes. In summary, I have tried 4 different features in my classroom (Google Slides) almost works seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

Slido is a simple-to-use add-on for Google Slides. However, at times when I change a question or make a modification, such as updating a Q&A. At times, the change doesn’t reflect during the presentation. The workaround is to remove the question and recreate it, which usually solves the issue, but it would be great if this could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slido Makes Audience Engagement Effortless with Intuitive Polls and Seamless Integrations"
What do you like best about Slido?

Slido is easy to use and effective at increasing audience engagement during meetings, webinars, and events. Features such as live polls, Q&A, and word clouds run smoothly and feel very intuitive, even for first-time users. I also find the integration with tools like PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Microsoft Teams especially convenient, making it simple to use in professional settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

Some of the more advanced features are only available on higher-tier plans, which can feel limiting for smaller teams. Also, the customization options for visuals and branding could be broadened so it’s easier to align the look and feel with corporate presentation styles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keeps Large Audiences Engaged and Involved"
What do you like best about Slido?

I love using it with larger audiences; you can really get a good feel of who is in the crowd, and I love that it keeps them involved and engaged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

I have to remember to clear out the past audience answers before running the program again. I did a test run and forgot to clear out the slides so there was something in there which was embarrasing. LOL! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slido Empowers Shy Audiences to Ask Questions Freely"
What do you like best about Slido?

I like that its questions feature encourages participation from audiences that are typically shy. We have been running our natural capital community of practice seminars for a few years on Zoom and even when a fair amount of people join in, there is never anyone brave to go on live and ask questions. Last time we used Slido and the questions kept coming in. It turns out, people just wanted someone else to ask the questions for them and Slido empowered them to ask freely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

No downsides that I can think of. It did its job fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Interactive Meetings with Seamless Integration"
What do you like best about Slido?

I use Slido to make meetings and presentations more interactive. It helps me run live polls, collect questions (even anonymously), and get instant feedback from the audience. It's simple, engaging, and makes sessions feel more organized and professional. What I like most about Slido is the live polling and anonymous Q&A feature. It makes it easy for everyone to participate, even those who are shy, and gives instant feedback that keeps meetings and presentations engaging and interactive. I also appreciate how it integrates smoothly with presentation tools like Microsoft PowerPoint and meeting platforms like Zoom, making live sessions more interactive without interrupting the flow. We switched to Slido from another tool because it integrates better with our presentation tools, feels more intuitive for live Q&A, and was more cost-effective for our team. It was very easy to set up; we set everything up quickly, and the team picked it up right away without much training. It's been reliable, easy to use, and works really well for our events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slido?

I think the free version has some limitations, especially with advanced features and participant limits. Sometimes customization options for polls and layouts could be more flexible. I'd like more poll types, better customization for colors and layouts, and more detailed analytics. It would also be great if some advanced features were available in lower plans.
