## Slack Reviews
 ### 1. Streamlined Team Communication with Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan M. | B2B Commerce Cloud Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for work to communicate with my teams and discuss specific topics. It centralizes team communication, reduces email overload, and keeps conversations organized by topic or project. I like that you can use Slackbot to ask questions, summarize conversations, and get insights. The UX and UI are great, and it integrates well with Jira and GitHub. It saves me time since I can directly ask Slack about a project instead of scrolling to find the information. The initial setup was pretty easy, just clicking the invite link and setting up my details.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I would like to have a better gif tool

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack centralizes team communication, reduces email overload, and keeps conversations organized by topic or project. It saves me time by allowing direct queries to find information quickly, and the integrations with Jira and GitHub are valuable.

 ### 2. Makes Connecting with Colleagues at Work Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ulises M. | Backend Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that it makes it easier for me to connect with people at work, especially since it’s clearly been designed with that kind of environment in mind.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I don’t like how the system works. You have to create threads instead of being able to directly reply to or cite someone’s comment. Also, when you need to talk to multiple people, you sometimes can’t set a name for the group chat, which then makes it harder to find a specific conversation quickly.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Work communication, essentially.

 ### 3. Essential Hub for Remote Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandi W. | Sales Development Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack as a virtual workspace for communication with coworkers and management while working remotely. It serves as our hub, keeping us updated and staying on the same page. I love the shortcut to add emojis or GIFs, which makes the working environment better by adding a sense of camaraderie. It's great for staying connected, and I enjoy posting happy Monday or Tuesday GIFs in each channel. Slack is very user-friendly and easy to navigate, which I would rate a nine out of ten.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I really don't have just too much. I mean, what I would love is to have some of the additional features that are only available for the pro users. I would love it if those were made available for the free version as well.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for remote work, as it helps me stay connected with coworkers and management. It's our virtual workspace hub, providing a place to gather, communicate, and stay on the same page.

The ability to share files, tag people, and integrate with other tools really boosting the teams productivity. Plus, the mobile app is solid.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes messages can get buried in busy channels, and it’s easy to miss things if you step away for a bit. I also find the search feature could be smarter it works, but it’s not always easy to find exactly what you're looking for unless you remember specific keywords.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack reduces the need for constant emails and meetings. It speeds up communication, helps prevent misunderstandings, and keeps everyone on the same page. **What do you like best about Slack?**

What I value most about Slack is how effortlessly it streamlines group collaboration, allowing us to quickly create or close channels as our needs change. we also integrated necar on it and our team uses it soley through slack now. The use of channels helps keep discussions on track, while integrations with other tools allow work to flow smoothly without the need to jump between different platforms. It's user-friendly and enables teams to stay connected instantly.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One drawback of Slack is that notifications can quickly become overwhelming, particularly in highly active channels. If you don't manage your notifications carefully, it's easy to get distracted or overlook important messages. Additionally, conversations sometimes feel fragmented because they are spread across multiple threads.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves the problem of scattered communication by centralizing team conversations, files, and updates in one platform. This benefits me by making it easier to collaborate in real time, stay informed, and reduce the back-and-forth of emails, which helps the team work more efficiently and stay aligned.

Automate notifications to sales reps when inbound leads come in, use it to integrate with Sales Message to quickly send SMS messages back and forth, Automate deal approval notifications and approval process, setup project or team specific communications, use it for 3rd party vendors and contractors to loop them into our internal team communications.

We use it throughout the day, and we don’t really feel the need for any other tool. It’s a single app that’s always running, with no issues, and the ability to collaborate with other companies is definitely important for us.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Nothing specific to point out right now, but I’d really love to see more AI features and agents that can help simplify workflow automation and make day-to-day processes easier.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Douglas M. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I'd like to mention that Slack is a powerful, professional communication tool. Features like Huddle and the automatic status help us see when a team member is busy, free, or currently in a huddle, so we can better understand the best momento to reach out to them

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The integrationof the Bug intake and triage template, personally, doesn't make much sense to me, since you can already link or connect external product trackers like Jira, Trello, or Click Up. By the way, I think linking external services is what teams use most frequently

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps facilitate the creation of community and culture within the company

 ### 12. Essential Tool for Remote Team Coordination

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I find the huddle and planner extremely useful. The huddle feature helps me call anyone quickly for a sync up, and having the planner on the side is great for planning my day, like a task tracker. These features really help me in more than one way, especially when working in a multi-client setup. Also, Slack is easy to use, very user-friendly, and things are pretty much organized. I also get notifications whenever someone tags me in JIRA.

Slack is the perfect tool for internal communications- no such cons

I use Slack for instant connection through quick huddles, channel participation, and polls. The huddle feature aids in quick syncs with remote teams, while the planner helps me manage my day and tasks effectively.

 ### 13. Mature Collaboration Hub with Strong Integrations and Helpful AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshay B. | senior game engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack has a mature interaction model that works very well for fast team collaboration. We manage our CI/CD, analytics, and task tracking through Slack interactions. Chats are really fast, but the client can feel slow at times. We’ve also tied Slack into our build systems and live ops, which makes the ROI much stronger for us.

Onboarding is straightforward for basic use, but governance isn’t automatic and still needs attention. Slack’s AI layer is useful for summarising, helping with search, and digesting messages.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

My main issue with Slack is how heavy the client feels. On my Mac, it can sometimes be really taxing to use and ends up feeling a bit painful.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Slack for our day-to-day office communication and team collaboration.

 ### 14. Ideal Collaboration Tool with Room for Notification Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jhek C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for internal conversations, announcements, and sending files instantly. I love the organized channel system, which keeps conversations grouped by topic, project, or team, making it much easier to follow discussions and collaborate with colleagues. The searchable message history is very valuable because it allows me to quickly find past conversations, shared files, or decisions without needing others to repeat information. Setting up Slack was straightforward; creating workspaces, setting up channels by department or project, and inviting team members was quick. Integrations with other tools like Google Drive or calendar apps were easy to configure, which allowed our team to start collaborating immediately.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The notifications can sometimes become overwhelming, especially when you are part of many active channels. Important messages may get buried among frequent updates, making it harder to focus on the most critical conversations.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves the problem of scattered communication by organizing messages and team discussions into one space with channels for easy collaboration, tracking discussions, and finding information without long email threads.

 ### 15. Streamlined Team Communication with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LOKESH G. | Engineer.SGB TCS-FS CORE BANKING,Production, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

What I like most about Slack is how it streamlines team communication with well-organized channels, fast messaging, and simple file sharing. Its integrations with tools like Google Drive, Jira, and GitHub also make collaboration quicker and help cut down on long email threads.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Slack can get noisy when there are too many channels and notifications, and that can be distracting during the day. I also find that search sometimes feels limited when I’m trying to dig up older messages. On top of that, access to advanced features and fewer restrictions on message history seem to depend on the paid plans.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps reduce communication gaps by bringing conversations, files, and updates into one central place. It makes work more transparent, speeds up decision-making, and supports real-time collaboration, so teams don’t have to rely so heavily on email.

 ### 16. Comprehensive Tool with Integration and Retrieval Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like Slack because it's an all-in-one communications tool. I can call people, use and share docs, and add notifications and reminders all within Slack. The ability to create channels for different projects and discuss only those projects in their respective channels makes communication very easy. Slack's integration with AI tools helps me with my tasks and communications. The basic feature of being able to tag people and alert them through channels is very useful.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I think the biggest problem is it's heavy. I don't know how it manages data in the back end, but it suddenly becomes very slow. Sometimes it crashes, and then I have to restart it. The history of messages doesn't allow me to access past messages for free if I'm part of different groups. I have to pay for each group to access past messages, which I believe is not fair. Sometimes something important is discussed in a group, and if I go back after one month, I cannot access the messages anymore. I think that's a big pain, not being able to access my past messages.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves my team communication problems by allowing individual and group chats through channels. I can create private and public discussions, making collaboration easy. Its integration with AI tools helps manage tasks efficiently.

I love that slack has the ability to search all or specific people/channels, you can pin posts, favorite people, hide notifications from channels you don't care to see, create and organize groups, tag agents, and each chat/channel can have a customized admin /moderator with canvases; just to name a few things.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Honestly, I haven't found to list anything yet.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have tried multiple chat/team communicators; something was always missing. this is simple and performs just as you would expect it to.

 ### 18. Mobile-Friendly with Handy File Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh B. | Accounting Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that Slack has a mobile app, making it easy for me to access and stay connected with my employees on the go. I appreciate being able to share files and messages in one spot and having the ability to save files in Slack for future reference. I also enjoy that I can create a chat with myself to save files and chats I want, which adds to its convenience. The initial setup of Slack was quite easy, just filling out the info got us ready to go.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the notifications can be a bit much, and the settings for those are a little tricky to figure out and get just right.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for employee communication and file sharing in one spot. It offers easy access on the go with its mobile app.

 ### 19. Streamlined Team Communication with Room for Notification Improvement

Channels and threads make it very easy to track all tasks quickly, and we can also share files and code from Slack. The initial setup of Slack was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Slack needs to work on notification management because it becomes overwhelming with too many messages across channels and threads.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps solve communication delays with quick, real-time collaboration. It keeps communication organized, reducing meetings. I stay aligned with tasks, stories, and bugs.

 ### 20. Quick Integration, Powerful Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like the integration capability and the automation of workflows in Slack. I work with development and integrations, so all this capability and the focus on good documentation and good SDKs for developers to expand Slack's capabilities is what I find most important. Additionally, automation makes it easier because everything is centralized on the platform, and it's quick to implement, saving time when creating workflows.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I think the options for components are still a bit limited, but I imagine that is already changing. And I think the interface itself is not as appealing as some others, but that is more a matter of preference.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for quick communication with clients, centralization of information, and status tracking during implementation projects. The easy integrations in the channels are also useful.

 ### 21. Central to Our Communication and Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David T. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I really love how integral and integrated Slack is in our daily operations. It's an amazing tool for company communications with various team channels for product updates, marketing, and more. Almost all our daily communications happen on Slack. I find it super easy to use and user-friendly, both on the desktop and the mobile app, which means I can take it anywhere. Channels and direct messages are fantastic, allowing us to organize our entire company communication effortlessly. The collaboration features like the add canvas and organization system with pins and files are highly valuable. Integrating various tools in our tech stack like ChartHop, Asana, Gong, and HubSpot into Slack is seamless, making it our primary source of notifications. It's just a great way to stay connected as a remote-first team. I love it and would recommend it to anyone because it's that good.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the search, especially with specific keywords in the upper bar, if the Slack instance is older, you have just a huge volume of information. It can often be hard to find historic information, but overall, that's pretty minor feedback, I'd say.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves the challenge of remote communication in a diverse setup by keeping us connected. It provides instant feedback, instant notifications, and allows quick one-on-one conversations, eliminating back and forth emails.

 ### 22. Seamless Communication with Impressive Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I find Slack super easy to use, and it's a great tool for messaging. It keeps my work notifications separate from other applications on my phone or email, and it gives me a workspace to connect with all of my internal team members. I really value the instant messaging and the useful channels for discussing information with select teammates. Creating private channels for team communication, sharing documents, and updates works really well. I also like the nice integrations with tools like Google Drive and a call tool called Donut for onboarding, which work seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I end up in an awful lot of channels, and the noise can be quite high, making it hard to manage. It would be helpful to have better categorization of channels to prioritize what's important. The notifications can be overwhelming, and it's sometimes hard to go through them all due to their volume.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for internal communication, messaging, and sharing documents across global teams, solving time zone communication and integrating company announcements easily.

 ### 23. Effortless Communication and Ease of Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack makes communication very efficient and centralized, allowing teams to collaborate in real time without relying heavily on email. The platform is easy to use and intuitive, which makes it simple for team members to stay organized across channels, direct messages, and shared resources. It helps streamline day-to-day communication and keeps conversations accessible and searchable.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Integrations can sometimes be difficult to set up and maintain, especially when they require additional configuration or technical knowledge. Certain features, like creating workflows or adding shortcuts, are not always as intuitive as expected and may involve some level of coding or troubleshooting. This can slow down implementation and make it harder for non-technical users to fully take advantage of those capabilities.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack helps solve communication gaps by centralizing conversations in one place, reducing the need for scattered emails and multiple tools. It allows for real-time collaboration, quick decision-making, and better visibility across teams and projects. This improves efficiency, keeps everyone aligned, and makes it easier to track conversations and follow up when needed. Overall, it helps streamline workflows and enhances team productivity.

**Reviewed by:** Ankit R. | Revenue Data Analyst, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I love Slack most because it brings together my team's diverse communications seamlessly. The use of channels keeps our discussions well-organized, while threads help avoid confusion and keep conversations focused. The live chat feature eliminates the need for endless email exchanges to resolve issues, which really accelerates our workflow. Additionally, Slack connects with useful tools like Jira, Confluence, HubSpot, and Google Drive, making it the central hub for updates and collaboration. This integration saves time and helps keep our teams aligned.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One aspect of Slack that I find challenging is how quickly it can become overwhelming when there are numerous active channels and constant notifications. This makes it all too easy to overlook important updates. Additionally, the limitations on message history and storage can be quite frustrating. If channels aren't well organized, conversations often become noisy and difficult to follow.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack addresses the challenges of slow and disorganized communication by providing a simple way to connect with your team and store all your files, conversations, and updates in a single location. With Slack, I can collaborate efficiently with colleagues across the globe, cut down on unnecessary meetings, and maintain focus on projects thanks to real-time messaging, organized channels, and seamless integration with other tools.

**Reviewed by:** Suramyan R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for communication and task management in my role as a technical support specialist. I love the convenience and how easy the UI is to use, especially on mobile. The channel-based layout is fantastic for organizing conversations by topics, teams, or projects, which makes it easy to jump to relevant channels without wasting time. The clean and predictable UI, with the bottom navigation and particularly the 'Activity' tab, is great for staying updated effortlessly. The notifications are strong because they can be fine-tuned to avoid overwhelm. I find the search feature powerful, turning Slack into a knowledge base. Convenience features like quick replies, emoji reactions, and threaded conversations enhance usability. File sharing, previews, and seamless integration with tools like Google Drive and Jira are incredibly useful, even on mobile. Syncing between desktop and mobile is underrated, ensuring I can continue work across devices without missing a beat. And the initial setup for my team was extremely easy. I would rate it a 10 out of 10, I love it.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I think the notification sounds has been hit or a miss for me lately despite having the notification enabled I'm sometimes not recovering anything at all. It's like I don't get notified with audible sound at all sometimes I only know there is a notification by looking at the app icon visually.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for streamlined communication with internal teams, managing user issues, and organizing tasks, all through a user-friendly UI that works well on mobile. It reduces mental load with channel-based organization, efficient notifications, and reliable integrations.

I dont think i dislike anything about slack but the one thing thats a little bit off putting for me is that sometimes the notification settinhs changes by itself and it doesnt sync on devices for example on my pc is selected to receive all notifications at all times but I still have to update it on my phone

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication, its way easier to communicate on slack and find what youre looking for as you can name the channels and choose and that you can have multiple workspaces
And on each workspace you can choose the name you'd like to be known as etc

 ### 27. Simplified Informal Communication, UI Can Improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastián M. | Salesforce Consultant, Consulting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like the originality and creativity that Slack allows me to express through its channels. Additionally, being able to respond in threads is great, as I can give specific replies without cluttering the main channel, which helps with organization and encourages conversation among colleagues. I also find the initial setup of Slack very easy, as I had an account immediately with the company email.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The design seems very cluttered to me, but it might just be my impression. Personally, I prefer simpler and more minimalist interfaces, where the visual load is not so overwhelming.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack facilitates casual conversations with coworkers, allows for creativity with gifs and images, organizes communication with threads, and announces company events.

 ### 28. A Game-Changer for Remote Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariah E. | Customer Service Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that I can engage with teammates that are remote or don't live in my area, which keeps me in the loop across all departments. I also appreciate using Slack as a resource because its search engine allows me to find answers to questions easily without having to repeat previously answered inquiries. Additionally, I enjoy its integration with other applications for notifications about time off requests, updates to bug tickets, and submitting IT tickets. I find Slack easy to use as a user, and it's particularly valuable for communication in remote work settings where maintaining engagement and peer interaction is crucial.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the 'Huddle' feature doesn't always have a strong connection, and we have to revert to using a Zoom meeting.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack enables us to communicate with everyone in the company, maintain engagement, and socialize. I can stay in the loop across departments and use Slack’s search engine to find answers without repeating questions.

 ### 29. Fast, Real-Time Collaboration with Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aan A. | Principal Software Engineer - UI, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I also love how fast and real-time everything feels. I can quickly message someone, jump on a huddle, or share files without having to switch between tools. The integrations are a huge plus, too. Connecting tools like Jira, Google Drive, or GitHub makes my workflow smoother and saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

too many integrations can create noise instead of helping, if not managed properly. And compared to email, some conversations can lack structure, making decisions harder to track later

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack addresses the problem of scattered communication across email, meetings, and multiple tools by bringing everything into one place. Rather than getting stuck in long email threads, conversations are organized into channels, which makes it much easier to track discussions by project or team.

For me, that translates into faster communication and quicker decision-making. I can get answers in real time, collaborate with my team immediately, and cut down on unnecessary meetings.

It also helps centralize day-to-day workflows through integrations, so updates from tools like Jira or GitHub come straight into Slack. This saves time and keeps everyone aligned without having to constantly switch between apps.

 ### 30. Facilitate Communication with Customizable Channels, but Responses Can Improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juliane M. | Assistente de marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I find Slack easy to use and customizable, which is great for work communication. I like the channels that help separate conversations by topic, making communication more organized and avoiding unnecessary notifications for those who don't need that information. The initial setup of Slack was very smooth, with an intuitive step-by-step process and clear guidelines provided by the company. Additionally, Slack facilitates asynchronous communication and offers real-time updates on what's happening in the company.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I would like the option to reply in the conversation to be easier. The option is not very visible and the organization of the reply in the conversation can also be confusing.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack facilitates asynchronous communication and the dissemination of information in real-time. Channels organize communication by topic, avoiding unnecessary notifications.

 ### 31. Fast, smooth user interface that makes switching workspaces and direct messages effortless.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge R. | DISPATCHER, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Communication does not feel burdensome despite being quite extensive. We can manage different channels at the same time and it allows you to stay connected without delay, as if you were in several places at once.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One aspect of Slack that I find frustrating is the inefficiency in searching for older messages or files. It often takes considerable time to locate specific information, particularly in highly active channels with frequent content postings.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack centralizes communication and reduces my reliance on email, which helps me stay organized and respond faster.

 ### 32. User-Friendly with Strong Integration Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vansh V. | Specialist - Research & Data analysis , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I use Slack for internal team communications and integrating it with different apps to track things within the team. It's very user-friendly, making it easy to use, and the customizability enhances the overall experience by allowing me to adjust the look and feel of interacting with the app. I also find the option to share GIFs fun. The app integrations, like with Jira, are beneficial as they help manage these apps directly through Slack. I’ve also integrated it with tools like Google Calendar and a cloud service, which adds to its usefulness.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

It sometimes does get laggy, and you need to manually refresh it a few times for it to respond properly. That's about all. There are no major downsides to it.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for internal and external communication and app integration. The app's user-friendliness and customization improve interaction, while integrations with tools like Jira help manage tasks.

 ### 33. Fast, User-Friendly, and Perfect for Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nilesh S. | Company Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I love Slack for easy communication with my clients. It's the perfect no-nonsense app with a fast, easy-to-use UI that helps keep a veil between personal and work life. It's the easiest app to navigate; I just open Slack, check notification bubbles, reply, set reminders, and alerts, and I'm good to go. It's internationally renowned, which adds to its appeal.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I think adding a contact or company was hard for me when I first started using it. I'd simplify the adding and getting added in a company/org feature a lot more.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack makes it easy for me to communicate with clients, with a fast, easy-to-use UI that separates work and personal life, and lets me check notifications and manage tasks quickly.

 ### 34. Centralized Communication Hub for Remote Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosario T. | People Team Lead, Investment Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that Slack saves us time when communicating with people from different areas, which is especially useful since we work remotely. I value being able to create our own channels and send communications while being able to react to messages. Additionally, I appreciate the ease of setting it up, as it's pretty easy, and I also find it great that I can integrate it with almost every system, including Ashby, ChartHop, Snowflake, Airtable, and many others.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Some integrations do not allow for such 'customized' messages, e.g. when I want to send reminders from my HRIS

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack to keep all our communication centralized in one place. It saves us time when communicating with people from different areas, especially since we work remotely.

 ### 35. Effortless Collaboration and Seamless Integrations with Slack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** V K. | Manager Digital Marketing, Real Estate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Slack?**

The remind me feature is something which I like the most. It helps me to prepare my to do list and remind each and every follow up whenever I want. Conversations feel quick and informal, but still organized, so things don’t get lost like they often do in email. Channels make it easy to follow discussions that matter to me and mute the rest.
I also really like how Slack connects with other tools we use like JIRA, Jenkins and Google drive files show up right where the conversation is happening, which saves a lot of time. It’s become the main place our team communicates, and it genuinely makes collaboration smoother.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One thing I dislike about Slack is how noisy it can get, especially in large teams. With so many channels and notifications, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and miss important messages unless notifications are managed very carefully.
Also, finding older messages or files can sometimes be frustrating if you don’t remember the exact keyword or channel. These aren’t major issues, but better message organization and simpler notification controls would make Slack even easier to use.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves the problem of slow and scattered communication at work. Instead of long email threads and constant follow-ups, everything happens in one place and in real time. Conversations are easier to track, and it’s clear who said what and when.
For me, this means faster decisions and less back-and-forth. I can quickly ask a question, get an update, or share a file without switching tools. It also helps teams stay aligned, especially when working remotely, because important discussions don’t get buried in inboxes.

 ### 36. Very good and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raiti Gaspar R. | Especialista en implementación, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Slack?**

The best thing about Slack is how it just works for our team. The learning curve was practically zero; we rolled it out, and people were using it effectively that same afternoon. It's incredibly intuitive. What we love in our day-to-day use are the simple things that have a huge impact. For instance, the ability to @mention a colleague is a game-changer. Instead of sending an email into the void and hoping for a response, I can get the right person's attention instantly. It has single-handedly sped up our decision-making. But the real power comes from the integrations. We've connected all our other critical tools, such as Asana, Google Drive, and Postman, directly into Slack. I absolutely love that we have this huge list of apps we can connect to. It has turned Slack into our command center, which helps us keep our entire workflow in one place instead of juggling ten different tabs. It's the first thing I open in the morning and the last thing I close at night.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

The one area that could use some improvement is the native video call feature, Huddles. I've found that screen sharing can be a bit inefficient and laggy, and there's often a noticeable delay for the video to connect at the start of a call. For quick chats, it's fine, but for formal meetings, we still rely on other dedicated services.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Slack, our communication was fragmented and chaotic. We were drowning in internal email chains where information would get lost, and urgent requests would get buried in someone's inbox. It was difficult to keep everyone on the same page, especially across different departments.

 ### 37. How Slack AI Saved My Workday

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandra S. | Test Engineer, Medical Devices, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Slack Connect has changed B2B collaboration from status-update emails into a more fluid, continuous conversation.
The ability for non-technical employees to build complex automations is a massive "sticky" factor for the platform.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Despite AI summarization, “context switching” is still a major drain on productivity. Even with the improvements, tracking down a specific file or a key decision buried in a thread from six months ago can still feel like digital archaeology.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to “Summarize Thread” or get a “Daily Recap” is a game changer, especially when I’m coming back from vacation and need to catch up quickly. Slack Connect has also nearly eliminated the need for guest accounts or external emails when working with partners or agencies, while still keeping our security protocols in-house.

 ### 38. Streamlined Collaboration and Seamless Integrations for Remote Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alok M. | Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

its organized, channel-based communication, powerful search, and seamless integrations with other tools, which streamline workflows and reduce email, making it great for transparent team collaboration, especially for remote or distributed teams needing quick access to information. Key features include easy file sharing, customizable notifications, and quick voice/video huddles, all within a user-friendly interface that supports efficient, focused work.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I think its potential to cause information overload and constant interruptions, leading to fragmented conversations, difficulty tracking important messages (especially in threads or with poor search). Other common complaints include a confusing UI, notification issues, security concerns with sensitive data.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack solves problems like communication, email overload, and inefficient workflows by centralizing conversations, files, and tools into organized channels, boosting team efficiency, transparency, and faster decision-making, while benefiting users by creating a single source of truth, reducing meetings, and enabling quicker problem resolution and cross-functional collaboration.

 ### 39. Simplifying Team Communication with Speed and Clarity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leela Sai Krishna B. | DevOps Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like about Slack that it is very convenient for team communication. It has a convenient functionality of chat rooms that has a great advantage over individual communications that are not so effective. The feature of chat rooms is extremely helpful for team collaboration and very easy for different teams to integrate and interact.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

At times, having too many channels and notifications from Slack can be very overwhelming. Messages from important conversations can be overshadowed if appropriate emphasis is not placed on highlighting their importance. Dealing with notifications and organizing channels is not that easy.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The challenge of disorganized communication in teams is addressed by Slack as it enables all conversations and updates of an organization to be found in one place. By this, the need to go through several mails to get all the information is eliminated. Additionally, the efficiency of communication is increased.

 ### 40. Streamlined Team Collaboration and Communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Goutam P. | Senior Quality Analyst - Salesforce, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like using Slack because it makes team communication really simple and organized. I appreciate how conversations can be separated into channels for different projects or topics, making it easy to find information later. The integration with other tools and the quick file sharing features help keep work moving without needing to switch between too many apps. Moving from email-based communication to Slack made conversations much faster and more organized, especially compared to long email threads. The setup was straightforward, and most of the team quickly understood the interface and channels. Finally, the integration with tools like Jira, Google Drive, and Zoom makes it easy to get updates and share files directly in channels.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Notifications can sometimes become overwhelming when you're part of many channels. Also, the search works well but finding older files or messages can occasionally take a bit of extra effort. It would be helpful to have more flexibility in notification control and slightly improved search filters to quickly locate older messages or files.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack to streamline team collaboration with channels for specific topics, simplifying communication. It connects our team in one tool, automates workflows, and integrates with Jira for notifications, making work efficient. File sharing and tool integration keep productivity flowing without switching apps.

 ### 41. Simple and effective tool for team communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hitesh M. | Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

What I like most about Slack is how easy it makes team communication. Conversations are organized into channels, so it’s simple to keep discussions focused and find information later. It reduces emails and helps the team communicate faster and more clearly, especially for day-to-day work. Huddle is the best function!

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One downside is that notifications can become overwhelming if you’re part of many channels. Also, finding older messages can sometimes be difficult unless you know exactly what you’re searching for. The free version has message history limits, which can be restrictive.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Slack, most communication happened through zoom which made things slow and hard to track. Slack centralizes conversations and makes it easier to get quick responses, collaborate in real time, and keep everyone aligned. This has improved communication speed, transparency, and overall team productivity.

 ### 42. Best-in-Class Jira Integration with Helpful Bug Notifications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Govind N. | Lead QA engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Integration with Jira is best for me. As by using this easily we track the bugs whenever a new bug logs by any team member we get the notification which helps to sync with the project .
Also love the recent UI changes.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

There should be a filter to arrange the slack message. Sometimes it's very confusing to search when we get too many slack from other team members.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By slack our day to day project work is very easy . We can create groups as per project requirements share our status, update, issues very quickly.

 ### 43. Slack is simple and efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tejaswini S. | Student Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like Slack because it is very easy to use and allows me to manage different projects, organizations, meetup clubs, official and unofficial work groups all in one place. The user interface is comfortable and intuitive which makes navigation smoother. Channels and sub-channels are extremely useful for dividing discussions based on topics, teams, or tasks keeping communication organized and reduces confusion.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

One downside of Slack is that the free version has limited message history. It makes it difficult to access older conversations when needed. Some advanced features are locked behind paid plans which may not be affordable for small teams or students.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, Slack solves the problem of scattered communication across emails, messaging apps, and separate tools by bringing everything into one unified workspace. Helps me track discussions by project or topic and saves time.

 ### 44. It provides an excellent work experience by connecting everyone in one place.

 ### 45. The Go-To Tool for Seamless Team Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos Andrés P. | Talent & Culture Champion L4, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like Slack's constant development and evolution, as well as the automations that it brings. It used to be just an iMessage tool, but now it's an all-in-one service that lets us collaborate, upload files, send videos and images, create canvases, boards, and try out different types of projects and newsletters. I really appreciate how it keeps advancing as industries require. Slack is really intuitive and simple, and it's at the edge of innovation. It's easy for my team and me to use for daily communication. I also integrate it with Gmail and Google Calendar, which is great.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I would like to see more educational purpose documentation of the new features and tools that we have available, like restrictions and so on.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack is an all-in-one service for real-time daily communication and collaboration. It provides tools like Canvas, which evolve to make team collaboration easier.

 ### 46. The Ultimate Tool for Team Collaboration and Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake B.

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I find Slack crucial for daily communication and project management, especially with its excellent user experience, customization, and integrations with other tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, and Zapier. The automation functionality really enhances my workflow and operations. Slack serves as the go-to tool for organizing a wide range of client portfolios, and its integration allows essential applications to feed into channels for maximum visibility across projects and broader organizational initiatives. This tool makes my job easier and helps my team perform effectively.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I love Slack. Nothing I dislike

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack for daily communication, project management, and organizing a portfolio of clients. Its automation improves workflow, project onboarding, and templating. Integrations with tools like Gmail and Zoom enhance visibility across projects, making Slack my go-to tool.

 ### 47. Transformed Our Workspace Dynamics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish S. | Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I love that Slack has evolved into a living workspace that feels energetic and keeps everything within reach. The unlimited message archiving acts like a project historian, helping me recall past decisions easily. I find the Channel-Based Search feature invaluable for locating specific moments in project discussions, effectively turning chats into a searchable database. I'm impressed by the addition of Huddles, which make remote work feel seamless, as if you're walking up to someone's desk. The integrated Slack AI and the 'Catch Up' feature are fantastic for fighting notification fatigue and tracking decisions in a digestible format. Slack Canvas is a 'doc killer' for me, offering a space to organize notes and key documents, while the 'Liquid Glass' Mobile UI makes the app as functional on the go as it is on the desktop.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

While Slack is arguably the gold standard for workspace communication, it isn't perfect. The biggest irony is that it was designed to kill email, but for many, it has just replaced email with a never-ending stream of 'pings.' In a busy workspace, it's easy for important technical decisions to get buried under memes, 'thank you' emojis, and general chatter. AI can summarize threads, but it still struggles to distinguish between a loud conversation and an important one unless users are disciplined with their tagging.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slack to search through project histories and pinpoint changes made, turning chats into a searchable database. The AI summarizes conversations, saving time and ensuring I don't miss important updates, while Slack Canvas organizes information into a structured repository.

 ### 48. Seamless Integrations, But Setup was Hectic

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jawad A. | مصمم جرافيك مُصنف الأعلى | متخصص في تحسين الفن, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like that Slack is connected with Google Drive, and its integration with other tools makes it cool. The feature that allows us to preview Google Drive links directly in Slack is super handy. Also, the chat summary feature is helpful, especially being a non-native English speaker, as it helps me understand things quickly and in a better way.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Their unnecessary notifications and login issues. Notifications even if someone joins the Slack are annoying. Secondly, when our client who has paid plans sends us links to join Slack, it expires after some days claiming trial over.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Slack facilitates easy communication with many connected tools in one place. The integration with Google Drive is useful for previews, and chat summaries aid understanding. However, I face unnecessary notifications and login issues.

 ### 49. Empowers Global Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marga Z. | AI Educator & Enablement Specialist , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

I like Slack for its modern and casual vibe, and I'm impressed by all the apps I can link it with. Integrations like Google Calendar automatically setting my status during meetings are really valuable. Setting up Slack is pretty intuitive as well, and that's something I appreciate. I always recommend Slack, so I would say 9/10.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

I would like to have an option of working in the same space with my colleagues, like on the same canvas, to visualize and brainstorm the solutions to the problems. In the channel, there should be an option not only to chat, but to show the ideas, use sticky notes, images, etc.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack enables asynchronous teamwork globally, integrates apps like Google Calendar to streamline scheduling, and simplifies overall team communication.

 ### 50. Custom Emojis Make It Even More Fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Livia P. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Slack?**

Generally, I think the best thing is that you can add your own emojis.

**What do you dislike about Slack?**

Sometimes the notifications can be a bit confusing. I see that an update was just rolled out the way in which notifications are displayed. Otherwise, it can get a bit confusing if you're a part of many channels and groups to see where the notification is coming from.

**What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack is allowing me to organise my work and my conversations in a very efficient way. I work on multiple projects at once, and I work with smaller groups from those projects as well. So, it allows me to create all of the groups and conversations I need while ensuring that we keep the noise level down for the other team members.
